People don't want real news. Real news is boring. Fake news is fun and exciting. It is the same with girlfriends.
This comment though. LOLAlthough its funny, it's kinda true. People are bored knowing the statistical history of BTC, how the lightning network works, BTC's blockchain technology. Instead, they are easily swayed by things like CHINA is banning BTC, USA banning BTC, Crypto is will take a big DIP.
right, a lot of people lost huge trusting such fake targeted news to manipulate Bitcoin price. The false news has made the crypto market go down. Everyone is scared of the crypto market and since then dare not invest in anymore.
So the market lost a lot of investors. That made our altcoins go down very fast. So let's look at the information that is real or false so that we have reasonable solutions. That's my advice and I hope everyone will refer to it and agree with me.

People don't want real news. Real news is boring. Fake news is fun and exciting. It is the same with girlfriends.
That's true, fake news are all over, that's why we are experiencing low amount of bitcoin today because of thay fake news making people to make their panic selling which is not helping bitcoin and for most of us. I think bitcoin needs more strategies again so that most investors will come back.

For example, today, once again "China Full ban crypto". What the... Why is it causing another crash?? Why is it even "news"?
It was already banned in China back in September 2017. All trading platforms suspended trading in September. Anyone from China who still trade Crypto must be using foreign platforms. Sure, they reported that China added all crypto exchange sites to Great FireWall. So what? These people have VPNs! When I was in China, everyone who visits foreign sites use VPNs. Yes, China banned VPN as well a long time ago. So what? Everyone is still using it. Just like ignoring the traffic light is illegal in China, but at every intersection, you will see people ignore the red lights... the truth! Just because it is "illegal", does not mean no one will do it.
So just this (one) news of China banned Crypto, it was repeatedly used to crash the Crypto market (4 or 5 times). Do not fall for it!

3. November or December? China became unfriendly to crypto mining (Large-scale miners moved oversea already)
4. January 2018. China banned websites of foreign crypto exchanges. (VPN!!!)

Stop spreading this nonsense. What's done was already done in September 2017. Nothing has changed ever since. NOTHING really changed in the last 4~5 months.

Same goes for Korean and Indian news. South Korea did not really ban crypto. Just one guy wanted to ban it. It was not approved, nor implemented. So far they have only added regulations that people can no longer trade anonymously. So what? Didn't Coinbase, Kraken, Bittrex etc. US-based platforms all require our IDs and photos?
India also did not ban crypto. Just a minister made some unfriendly speech toward crypto. No real "ban" whatsoever.
From the look of it, someone or some groups are trying hard to make the prices go down. The sad thing is, people are falling for it. The same China "news" was used on 5 occasions to cause the market crash while nothing was really changed or happened. Korean news was used on at least 2 occasions.
The bottom line is, let's just ignore all the stupid "news". Use our brains. Not hearsay from yellow journalism. It is getting annoying to have every little "news" to impact the market price.

I agree with op this fake news is a pain, and what's even surprising is that people are so gullible that they're falling for such news. These corporates and government is eating into the fear and that's bad. We as a community should come together and fight through such news, maybe select a platform and only look at that news. Let's show them the power if Bitcoins and get the price higher. Let's take a pledge not to forward fake news and to blow them off.
Yes right, the fuds are kind of ridiculous at times. I wonder how many times China want to ban crypto? Look at the good side to shake the weak hands and for us to buy Bitcoin at a cheap price again.
False news is simply FUD at its best. They will only toy with your emotions. Torment your mind. And make you make irrational decisions. Study the market and filter what comes into your mind.
There must always be winners and losers on the market. On the one hand, it is strange to observe how many cryptoinvestors are so easily prone to panic and manipulation. After all, people who have at least a little experience in this market is clear that this is all the manipulation of major players. On the other hand, it's nice to realize that you do not belong to the category of people who so easily believe in these news. It's nice to realize that you do not belong to the ches losers.
