That’s the best we can do as parents. If we will place ourselves to our kids shoes, then we also don’t want to be taught with things that are never interested at a young age. Let’s just let them enjoy their childhood days and provide them those things that will value more their childhood days. After all, once they grow and mature, for sure they will start taking serious things that will make their life worthwhile. And this is the perfect timing to introduce bitcoin to them. But forcing them to live with bitcoin is already beyond our control since they’re responsible enough to manage their life according to their set rules and norms.

The topic got me laughing. What you said is nothing but the truth, if it is difficult for people of age to grasp this concept how much more younger age. Those who take such steps to teach children such a complicated phenomena, I referred to them as Bitcoin extremist. Let's take life gently with them even if you have the money to sponsor their bitcoins investment. The pressure and volatility of bitcoins can have an adverse effect on the child irrespective of your explanation. Give to them what they can assimilate and bear.

Children love to lean new things and that's why the world today is modernized, how will you feel if your younger ones teach their parents or tell them about Bitcoin that will be great right? So I don't see anything wrong with teaching or telling children about Bitcoin.
If I own a school today I will approve a Bitcoin subject in my school.
With the rate at which the number of Bitcoin users is increasing day by day, it seems that we will soon see that Bitcoin will be written on the pages of books. But for this, Bitcoin must be legalized in almost all countries. Bitcoin is still banned in many countries. But even after the ban, people in those countries are using bitcoin and trying to change their own destiny with bitcoin. I think they have managed to change their own destiny with bitcoin.
But for me, it doesn't need to be written on the books, people found it already in the internet. And with the current trend that we are living more on the internet and computer, that was easier for us to access and learn Bitcoin. What we just need is time and someone who would have the passion to educate those who wanted to learn.

And talking about teaching this is kids, I hope we get the point that Bitcoin is suitable only for those who are capable enough to learn where kids are not.
Let them have time to play and enjoy learning in school rather than feeding them with this stressful Bitcoin investment.
You can find literally everything on internet but that doesn't mean that someone will actually look for it, somehow you need to be jumpstarted about a certain topic. I see that with my friends, we're not kids, and every time I try to talk about economics etc I can see how they know nothing. I mean, I am no expert but I have at least the basic knowledge of how some things work, they don't, and it looks like they just don't care at all but then they complain about their financial problems...

We need to differentiate on which age groups we are talking about here? If you talking about the kids then they are not the relevant people who care about the financials or know what are the financial problems.
If you talk about the teenagers then of course they should know about what is bitcoin ? the basic knowledge about this digital currency and it doesn't matter if they have bitcoin or not, but little bit knowledge is a must.

Finally if you are a grown up then you need to find the ways to earn money and it can be a in the form of bitcoins or in fiat that will help to remove your financial difficulties and that is whats required.

It would still be better to start from the book since it teaches the basic knowledge even at the known schools they suggest students to study some books for them to understand easily some topics that are too difficult to understand. Which can be apply to understanding Bitcoin. You can just simply give them the book and let them study and understand it in their own phase, so after they are odne you could just simply teach them the new trends that couldn't be seen to books. That's not actually stressful for them as they understand it without pressure if they have questions then they could ask you.

Absolutely, we need to give the children their freedom to choose where they want to go, what they want to decide, or where they want to invest when they grow up. Teaching them something complicated against their interests will surely hamper their mental stability. Yes, you can tell them about bitcoins or digital assets, but don’t tell them complicated things like how to trade, how to invest, etc. Children are meant to study and develop their mental and physical health. So yes, giving them unnecessary stress might hamper their natural growth.
It is a human right of a child to grow up properly. As parents it is our responsibility to help children grow independently. We should aim not to impose anything extra on them. After reaching adulthood, parents can discuss the matter with them, and children can accept bitcoins if they are interested in bitcoins. But just because I'm involved in Bitcoin doesn't mean my children should be involved in Bitcoin. Every parent should give equal priority to the likes and dislikes of the child along with helping the child to grow up properly.

Just as my topic reads, we should stop stressing  kids with wanting them do things we didn't meet up doing and at some points getting them mentally stressed.
Learning is good for everyone. But if this learning becomes stressful for one then it is definitely harmful. Teaching Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to children or young adults can sometimes be stressful. While investing can be a valuable part of education, prioritizing their overall well-being and education is crucial. Young people should focus on building a financial foundation and learn about budgeting savings and responsible money management. But it should be done at an appropriate age. If children or young people want to learn about investing and learning about Bitcoin or other currencies without any stress, they should be taught in a conscious decision.

The age above 10 years is already starting to look suitable for a child to learn something that can direct him to organize a good future, because children over 10 years of age have also undergone their basic education so it is not wrong if they are given other education that can specifically make it even better. But I think it looks too pushy for a child even though it's not bad to teach, because personally I prefer that the child has to finish some education first before he starts learning special things like Bitcoin with the aim of being more independent in his life.

Yes, it is quite true that children should not adopt the crypto even though they reach their legal age. But it is also thoughtful and understandable that, with modern technology and the principles of commerce in the digital world, you cannot eliminate the interest of kids in E-Commerce. Children should be exposed to and made aware of the new techniques and basic methods that are coming up day by day and are better than these traditional methods. And, if they are interested, give them practical training and skills about the cryptos (Bitcoin) so they can become experienced traders in the future. In today's era as well as in the near future, commercial practices may change more, so educating children about this system is important.

I really think that the OP should indicate the age of childhood he's trying to talk about because we all are getting it confused. Children above the age of 10 are supposed to learn about Bitcoin so when they grow older they will become an expert on Bitcoin so they can teach others too. Many parents wants their children to be more better than them in future mean while is good for children above 10 should learn earlier.

I feel so glad when I see very senior members of the forum also sharing in same idea with me because most times, people  read  a thread with a the mindset to just argue and that's reay bad and I wish sometimes some persons can just read to learn and make some positive contributions and evaluations rather than just wanting to argue and I've always repeated that I'm  not against people telling and introducing bitcoin  to their kids and kids I generally mean people below 16 years and rather than wanting to impress their mental growth with the complexity of bitcoin  and cryptocurrency at large, we should have a portfolio  for them and keep investing  while we watch it grow with them and when they are fully of age, we can gradually bring this knowledge  to them.
Undeniably, friend. The web teems with aggressive debaters, poised to engage and disassemble. Observing an alternate ethos where participants aim for positive contributions is a breath of fresh air. A heartfelt tribute to the OGs in the forum, disseminating their expertise selflessly.

Speaking of the youngsters, precisely! Early exposure to crypto is beneficial, as long as it's age-tailored. We should prevent bombarding them with advanced crypto jargon and principles. Having a growing portfolio for them is an astute move. This step-by-step introduction not only enhances their intellectual development but does so in an intriguing and practical way.

I think there's nothing wrong with telling children about bitcoin or also about cryptocurrency, but the thing to realize is, it's not necessary to provide heavy knowledge for children to understand. So that the children are not burdened or even more dizzy, even more disinterested. Of course, teaching kids the basics for anything is necessary, because they also need to know what's going on in the world. So, there's nothing wrong.

There is an article that tells how to educate children about cryptocurrencies at a basic level: https://cointelegraph.com/news/how-to-teach-cryptocurrency-to-your-children

I agree when you say that children always like new things and hope to teach about Bitcoin which is the latest payment technology today.
But you also need to know that children can't be burdened with the knowledge that they don't need and is too much for them.

Teaching children cannot be done with pressure, playing while learning is what is needed because childhood is a time of play.
I am not against you teaching children about Bitcoin, but use methods that are suitable for children.

Even adults find it difficult to understand Bitcoin let alone children who are still in development.

Bitcoin subjects are still not allowed because some regulations do not allow them.
Bitcoin itself still has pros and cons. In some countries, Bitcoin regulations are still quite strict.

-snip-
And discovering, exploring, and playing will certainly give them more fun than be serious and learn the most about bitcoin.
Play and learn, that's what should be done rather than giving Bitcoin knowledge too seriously.
It would be useless if you continue to force them to tell Bitcoin knowledge which is quite burdensome for children's minds.
no need to be too serious, just introduce the name Bitcoin and its logo with the playing method and it will be a good initial method as an introduction.

I agree with you because childhood is only for age-appropriate learning and playing, not for learning investment or digital smells like this
when they are adults they will naturally find out all the existing technology
Too bad not every parent knows this so they tend to force feed knowledge that's inappropriate for the age of the child not to mention that they're also raising a clone of themselves because they want to see how they would've turned out if they grow up with the knowledge and that's scary because you don't raise a clone when you raise a kid, you're raising an individual and they should be able to choose what they want to do in life be it bad or good, our job as a parent is to keep them safe, bond with them and guide them not brainwash them with our ideals and financial stuff, you don't need to tell it to them, you talk about it indirectly enough and they will eventually catch on.

So that's the problem, we can't clone ourselves to our children, the nature is if we have similarities between the behavior of fathers and mothers. a mother will definitely monitor the child's growth and development until the child is old enough to be released and ready to make a choice, sorry for men, usually a father who often demands children in such a way without knowing the limits of a child's abilities

Maths and language is one thing a kid needs rather than some very complex mathematical algorithm like Bitcoin  and cryptocurrency.
And I wish to know how easy it gets for you when you try to force them to learn the basic math and English?
I guess even boring for you as a teach, now talk more of a kid who is still not supposed to be bothered with such complexity.

Dont know why, but the kid is doing pretty well with math. Not yet in school, but adding and extracting numbers till hundred seems easy. English is also easy to learn while watching cartoons and playing video games. A bit harder with reading, read only by syllables so far, but we have one year until school. When school starts, it will be more about learning and gaining experience how to socialize, learning new basic things. I dont know where to put Bitcoin or crypto in modern kids timetable. Imho if necessary, knowledge about crypto will come by themselves. So I am not intend to force to learn it.

You need to insert also the play time or alone time with them, so it is difficult if you replace it with learning again because, based on that timetable, it is mostly about learning and there are fun things like when they can't play into something and explore the beauty of the world outside of technology. For sure, they will learn about it or get interested in it in the future. Let them be kids right now, and you, as a parent, should also treasure every moment while they are kids because when they grow up, you can't do those things that both of your children are supposed to do when they are still kids.

Oh, there is plenty of play time my kid has. Since this he is not in school yet, and even more the kid is not in even in prime school, I dont insist on studying. Playing > studying program is in general right now. But I give little hints, that «it would be great if you could calculate that» or «read this by yourself», because while I am at work, I wont be able to help you much with this and that game. So far it works.

We also play games like «shopping» and etc. Where I can easily integrate buy low sell high strategy in gaming. Or teach that «if you make a research and buy now, later your might earn more». But that is boring. That ruins the plot of game.

Since children's brains are so soft, I think stressing them with complex financial concepts like Bitcoin can have a negative impact on that child's life. Although everyone needs financial literacy in their lives, Bitcoin should be introduced to children in a gradual and age-appropriate manner. Because Bitcoin is a complex investment system that will inspire children to get an teaching to build a potential base in personal development and economic skills, it is not good to stress about it at such a young age. It is important to provide a balanced understanding of money management by researching and exploring topics appropriate for their age and understanding level and then allowing them to do so.
putting pressure on children to learn Bitcoin and its technology is not good. because indeed at a certain age, children will not receive serious understanding.
so I think if you want to teach Bitcoin to children, it requires very light learning. such as the concept of charity or regular savings. I know maybe children won't understand how it's used. but when they grow up maybe they will know how important it is to invest and maintain investment assets.
I think it all depends on how we explain to children gradually according to their age.
