It's just a spam tokens, owner of this scam token just want to draw attention.
yes it is only spam token I have often got it like that, soon there will be someone who reports it and the token will be loaded with information on token spam
maybe their goal is to get impression or natural search on google
I think this is made for SEO

A phishing method requires you to login or input a detail to a very sketchy website.

What you have given is a transaction from an unknown token so it's not really a phishing attempt but spam token.

It is quite common that random tokens be sent to your ETH address, it is not a scam and you got nothing to lose. You can just keep the token in your wallet. I guess the owner of the token just want to attract people’s attention or make it seems like the token is popular.

But, be careful, even if its nothing to you, they might have been planting a hack code to your wallet.

I guess you never used a Waves wallet. If there is even 1 Waves in your wallet, the SPAM token is falling every day. I have only 1 Waves in my Waves wallet and have more than 100 SPAM token.
Ethereum wallets has less of this problem.

Ive got a lot of this in my wallet. Actually, I opted to try cleaning my wallet and seeing this irritates me. Hoping that there are some restriction on creating a token cause many people enjoy creating display tokens. I dont know what good they can get from doing this,

AGREED: They want to draw attention by spamming their tokens which is clearly a suspicious way of promoting their project. Be careful as well might some of them have virus attached phishing paraphernalia.

Wouldnt worry about that. People start spamming the blockchain with useless tokens, this seems to be one of them. Nowadays its so easy to create your own token, everyone can do this and of course abuse it ...

It's nothing to worry about. Sometimes you will get some of those tokens because creating a ERC20 token is easy. I remember I had received KYC token or something like that. Although I don't know any other purpose is there behind this, but it's not an phishing attempt for sure.

It does not seem like a phishing attempt, some people make random tokens or clone of popular tokens for whatever reason.
