I'm hoping sunny king's chain selector will be the centralisation ball buster, after the ETH debarkle, seems the perfect roadmap for all serious coins now, we'll see of course.

but how is Stratis different from Project Bletchley which is announce by microsoft 4 days ago?

http://www.geekwire.com/2016/microsoft-today-introduced-project-bletchley/

thx

Hi oneyesoneno,

The Bletchley project from Microsoft is comparable to IBM's distributed ledger tech. They operate centralized blockchains to provide a range of services backed by a distributed ledger.

There are several key differences between Stratis and Bletchley.

We are a blockchain startup with significant blockchain experience in the team.

Our lead Stratis Bitcoin full node developer is a well known Bitcoin developer with extensive experience developing a C#/.NET development framework, he has also made minor contributions to important Bitcoin Improvement Proposals such a Segregated Witness.

The fact we are not a huge corporation bodes well for the future, we will have regional System Operators that will build and manage our regional datacenters.

This means that the Cloud Stratis platform has an element of decentralization, as no single actor would be able to take down the platform.

Handing over the control of many Bitcoin and Ethereum nodes to Microsoft would not be good for the crypto ecosystem. If regulations were brought in tomorrow, that banned digital currencies, Microsoft would be the first ones to shutdown the nodes they are hosting.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards
Krushang

thanks for the brief explanation. Really appreciate it

Once ICO starts, I'm in. I got a good feeling with Stratis.
Any link to the ICO page?

The ICO site will be live today.

I have updated the ICO terms with the crowdfund starting today and ending on the 26th July. (36 days)

There is no instruction as to where will we send BTC or any address / portal.

Instructions will be provided once the ICO is live today.

Just to double check. The signature campaign is only for Full members and above, right (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1514971.0)? And the ICO is for everyone?

I think it's not clear for people and for me neither...
