I find the crypto space kind of sad in a way, I believe in a way most people project themselves on their comments, most times to a large degree.
Disclaimer ~ I hold Stratis yes, I have been in and out and in since the ICO, i'll continue when I think I see safe exits and re-entries in order to accumulate more.
But so many ppl I see on different threads and in troll boxes, in no small faculty shit on crypto as a whole. I don't think they mean to but many are intraday or three day coin holders desperately looking for quick gains. The desperation that manifests in overt trolling is very tiring over the years, it tarnishes the space as a whole. We should all be excited for projects and support them, we are all pioneers in the space. We may participate in different ways but we are all daily building something fresh and new ~ and very much the future. Even if those around us don't believe it. It's coming it's building year after year faster than the detractors can keep up.
I've been around, and you'll find many Stratis holders have 'been around' we've been scammed, made horrible trades, lost coins on exchanges that either got hacked or mis managed. We are survivors though we keep putting our money back into projects.
Stratis is a great, profound project.
You owe it to yourself to understand what Stratis is striving for. I see a few things said about Stratis, one that is true is that the team doesn't make enough noise about the product. It's true, they are very modest for such a promising product.
Let's break it down a little, i'm not a developer so I didn't know how far reaching the MS .net framework was until I researched.
From the website "We offer simple and affordable end-to-end solutions for development, testing and deployment of native C# blockchain applications on the .Net framework."
What does this mean for your non tech, non developer non IT etc... average joe.
How massive and widely use is C# around the world in the workplace? Please have a look at this discussion I found it gives you an idea.
The discussion are a little older but you'll get the picture. C# is still the 4th most used language. And as the links discussion illustrate mostly by enterprise, corporate large business entities. Yes Java is a monster too, let someone else make a java bitcoin node if that's even possible? And good luck finding a BTC core dev to come on board;)
https://www.quora.com/Do-people-companies-still-use-C https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-market-share-of-Java-vs-C-NETSome cherry picked quotes from those discussions.
"To get an accurate answer for you purpose you should refine your question. If you are just trying to ignite the ongoing Java vs. C# debate carry on.
Java is widely used without doubt. In academic environs, open source and start ups businesses it rules.
However, you must define what you are referring to pose a question about its "future". In internal software development in US Fortune 1000 companies I would expect .NET based development is more prevalent."
"As others have said it's still very heavily being used. I am a game developer, and virtually all the mobile game companies in the bay area have been or are now starting using Unity3D and write their cross platform applications in C#."
"The main concept that might help is that C# is (almost) exclusively used in the enterprise—medium-to-large-sized business. I think this is for two primary reasons: Microsoft’s longtime hold on the slower-moving, support-dependent corporate world, and the Microsoft stack’s general popularity in the corporate world (much like Java)."
If by now you don't get what Stratis is offering, they are offering turn-key blockchains written in C# for MS .NET devs in whatever capacity they hold - with hands on consultancy and support if the clients wants it. It's so simple, maybe that's why it's whooshing over the heads of those not paying attention.
If you spend 5 minutes researching C# & .NET you'll understand the massive amount of small and large enterprise need for Blockchain(ing) existing and future businesses. Stratis has identified a niche, and are seizing on the opportunity before someone else had the chance.
I don't know if you know this, if you want to start a business and you go to a bank, the number one question they want answered is what is the niche, or how can your business survive against competitors. Stratis has the opportunity to get waaaay ahead of any future competition. Also they would have to use the Nbitcoin node anyways...
Stratis has many other things, i didn't delve into the token and a lot of details are being worked out for how to maximize the monetization potential for the token that benefits the team and investors.
Also the academy they have planned, you can learn C# programming and be able to contribute in the blockchain C# space.
This will become a thing, the C# crypto space. Just like smart contracts and Daaps have become a space in crypto.
So please curb your trolling, get behind a project maybe this one!!?? Maybe another, so many projects in the space will succeed, many will succeed quicker if ppl would stop treating them like temporary opportunities.
Anyhow off my soapbox, think about it.
