How to fix this error?
Im using ubuntu 16.10 with gtx 970 and i have installed cuda 8.0
Never mind i fixed this by just installing nvidia-opencl-dev package i though cuda contained all necessary opencl packages.

but the miner is 100% faster.

Thats the pool fee anyway, it will get updated to support more pools.

That is right. The 4% fee is still much cheaper than buying the hashing from the Genesis mining direclty.

Yes, as it stands now the other miner is probably a lot faster so a 4% fee is trivial in this comparison. But each to their own, those who prefer Linux can take the advantages.

He's giving away a free GPU miner and found it easier to use the Linux based source of Zogminer. You are free to install Linux if you like, you might even find it more pleasant than Windows.

There is another Windows based miner if you would like to use Open Source ZEC (ZCash) GPU Miner AMD & NVidia (up to 18.5 sol/s on RX480) , or check the previous posts, there was a link to a compiled Windows version above.

Here's a compiled Windows version of nheqminer for CPU and GPU:

https://github.com/ocminer/nheqminer/releases/tag/0.2a

It works only with nvidia GPUs. No AMD/OpenCL support yet Sad

We need some AMD/OpCL miners.

Open Source ZEC (ZCash) GPU Miner AMD & NVidia (up to 18.5 sol/s on RX480)

That one doesn't work on most of the pools and i'm not gonna pay 4% fee
