I see many people asking for opinions about ICO investments, if they are good, profitable or not and I see many people replying it can be good or not, you must have knowledge to choose a legit ICO, to find out who are the developers...

But I would like to hear successful stories about people who invested in ICOs and made profit. Please, tell what ICOs you invested and how much profit you made, if you liked it and if you still look for this kind of investment.

Icon investment will be only good if the project will be successful, the growth of an ico will be always depending on its developers on how they will handle the platform, in this way more investors will be investing on their coin if the project will be very promising.

Actually I don't have any participations in any ICO. Currently I am preferred to participate in signature bounty campaign then when time comes if I got successful to be a trader I would guaranty that I will join ico's as long as I can.
This is basically varying from person to person. Sometimes you consider trading as best option for you as it would meet up with your goals and nature of earning money. Sometimes bounty campaigns are resonating with your objectives. And sometimes something else gets same wavelength as yours. So this verity is actually the beauty of this world. Anyways, good luck.

Well, numerous ICO gave good outcome, some gave tremendous - Ziliqa, Quarkchain, Credits etc. Last months are good for some ICOs,  I should say, though it's really difficult to get into whitelist.

People who invested in ICOs late 2016 to early 2017 could easily have gotten their money's worth. Back then, there were more legitimate ICOs compared to today where every scammer out there has gotten wind of how easy it is to trick people into investing in ICOs.

These days, the only profitable ICOs i've joined are Enjin, Electroneum (through a very short window of opporunity), and LoyalCoin.

Correct, there's a lot of successful ICO's specially in the last part of the year 2017 wherein your investments will literally make 10X or even 100x. I wouldn't say what ICO I have invested, but let me tell you that its very real. However, I don't know about this year though, I have invested that went crazy and didn't take off so I just sold them on price that just profited a little and get rinse and repeat. Although I still have some ICO investments today, they are not paying that good as compare to 2016 or late 2017 wherein you will really get your money's worth. Now you will be happy if you got a returns of 2X-4X.
The market is very difficult right now and almost no coin is giving profits, if a trader is still making profits right now I will be very impressed with his skill, while it may be too soon for some I think it is time we give up and admit defeat, we are not going to see significant growth at all in this year and it is better that we take positions for the years to come than to try to get profits in this year.

Losing money with ICOs is actually very rare except if you ended up investing in ICOs that sucks with no real life value or product. I have had several successful ICOs from last year and not much from this year due to the downtrend we have experienced for a short while now which I believe will not last for long anyway.
You sound like someone who is lucky with ICO. Is there any particular skill you use in picking the ICO you participate in or certain things you look out for? I actually stopped investing in ICO after I observed that ICOs are unnecessarily over hyped if they do not end up as scams, that is.

I've had semi successful investments, but held on too long and got hit by the market dropping over the last few months. Learned a lesson there, always cash in some profit if it's there for the taking, otherwise you get caught holding for too long. Not overly bothered, as I was planning to hold long term, but should have seen the opportunity to sell some with a view to increasing my holding. Specifically talking about Icon and Cappasity, but there's a couple of others too. Never mind, live and learn.

I was very succesful with Stratis and Lisk. I also lost money with many other ICO's. All together i'm still on profit. I don't invest in ICO's anymore.
Maybe that is your wrong view. Invest in ICO projects always make a profit. But we need to get to know the projects carefully to avoid investing in scam projects

As long as you can have the patience attribute and you are able to know how to play your card pretty well when there is a bull rally for most of the alts with your ICO involved, then it is a sure thing to always get the best from them. In recent times, my contribution with medical transaction token ICO have paid me off very handsome amount of returns. But, honestly it must be once an year kind of opportunity.

I invested on waves platform since 2016 and today I'm still holding the tokens I got which at that time its less than $1 each. Today the price is more than $3 and it did reach up to $16 last year, ain't that a profit to consider already. ICOs are good to invest with but an investor has to be very careful in choosing which ICO.

Initial Coin Offerings are a good way to watch or observe good coins or platforms from their starting line. ICO's are simply their way to show off if their platform can live up to their name while campaigning and offer them good rewards to be simply famous or known. I have not yet invested on some ICO's but i guess it is a good way to earn more or even invest for long term profits.

I don't have experience trading ICO, because I've heard that most of the ICO project are scams, so I'm afraid to try, I don't have more experience and the ability to distinguish the ICO is worth the investment.

IMHO, success of an ICO can't be seen in an instant view but rather in a long run because the roadmap gets completed eventually. Though unfortunately, I joined some ico but as far as of this moment I can see some growth of the project though the price is below the ico price and it's too early to claim its success.

Now some excellent ico are working with organizations!
It is difficult for ordinary investors to have the opportunity to participate, and the amount of participation may be less than 1 ETH!
You have to check out Ico's white papers yourself, go to the website to check ioc's score, and ask experienced people!
Many Icos have scams, and investment ico should be cautious!

There are a lot of good ICO's but I have encountered a project with a very clear roadmap and exchange sites were stated even before the ICO starts.

Aside from that, they are transparent with the project, wether it had progress or not. They update investors and users weekly and was even active after ICO's.

Well I have joined some ICO back then and made some good profit because of their bonuses,
I made some profit from their bonus because when I join some ICO I would just wait till they reach their ICO price and sell some of my coin to get my investment back and just hold their bonus and wait what would happen next if the price would go up or be dump.
But sometimes even if the price of the coin drops down I would sell it off if I really need some Fiat.
