Very Important *** TO All Sucre Masternode Owners - You all need to upgrade your Sentinel ASAP. Until you do so the Budget Proposal system will not engage. This is a very simple procedure.
For Ubuntu:
cd /root/.sucrcore/sentinel
git fetch
git reset --hard origin/master

Running my MN on Ubuntu. I do not have a "sentinel" folder in the ".sucrcore" directory. please advise
You need sentinel to run a MN, starting march 1,2018 will not get any reward if sentinel is not install.

We just added Sucre to the Cheddur app (https://www.cheddur.com)! This will allow new users to learn about Sucre and join the community. Great to see SUCRE moving forward. Your funding comes from the 10% allocated to development team?
To give you more budget and increase speed of progress in order to get on larger exchanges a.o.,
I would suggest to raise the development share from 10% to 20% (-> the split then becomes 20% dev.team / 40% miners / 40% masternodes)

Yes we can discuss this later on forum. We need now people to buy SUCRE and lock it to nodes. Or just keep in wallet and dont sell again. With that process the value will go up. And in the end doesn't matter if 8k budget or 16k budget cos when price will be double its the same. So need more focus on value than on quantity.

Budget proposal system and web forum will be ready on 25.02!
if you don't know what Budget proposal is you can find more info here. Yes article is about dash but system will be similar.
Basically everyone can propose some good ideas! It will cost only few sucre coins. After that, masternode holders will vote about it. You will also share your ideas on web forum. Each cycle there is about 8k sucre budget. So if your proposal will need some funding, it can get it!

Unfortunately they do charge at least 1 BTC for listing so it seems, but maybe you can work something out and get a discount/trade for SUCR if you ask them.

We have now limited budget. Just 5000 Sucre bounty for listing us on exchange. Its now like 2500 USD. So not even close to 1 BTC. But we will have budget proposal system (willl be ready in few days) and there we can propose and vote for exchanges and other stuff. So yes we are trying to get on other exchanges but it takes some time (and coins).

masternode install goes OK, and sucr-cli mnsync status returns OK
but in the wallet MasterNode status keeps showing: Watchdog_Expired
I noticed many Masternodes show this status.
Could you please advice what is wrong and how to fix this?

You can join one of our channels and I will help you. Problably 1) You don't wait enough time. Like +- 1 hour after installation. The status will not change immediately but it takes some time. 2) Or sentinel badly installed 3) badly setup crontab.

If sucre reach a good bottom it could be interesting again running a masternode... I think that now is still quite expensive
Expensive? Now? I don't think so. It's one of the cheapest masternode coins that are available. Price for 1 MN about 500 USD. Before BTC and coinsmarkets.com fall, the price was around 1200 usd per 1 masternode.

Such a wonderful Project. Finally got my first masternode reward after setting it up.
I saw on the subreddit that there was some talk about possible airdrop / bounties. I think as I responded on the subreddit that it would be a fantastic idea to grow the Community. But of course one has to be careful as to create a great caring Community and not just a big one.
