Some sports are region based and therefore they are not popular worldwide. Same is the case with Somo wrestling which is popular in japan only and therefore we do not see much discussion about it here. Even i think only local Japanese site may having betting for somo wrestling and we do not find any information related to betting on it anywhere else.

Sumo yokozuna grand champion Kakuryu clinched his sixth title in Nagoya on Sunday, beating fellow grand champion Hakuho on the final day.

The two Mongolian top-ranked yokozuna wrestlers went head to head, and Kakuryu came out on top, forcing out Hakuho to seal his first title in seven tournaments.

Being fan doesn't have a weight requirement and I'm not from the base country where the sport originated but I do love watching videos about sumo.
Recently, I've seen a video that interviews a champion in sumo and it's more interesting because she's a woman so if ever there will be a casino that will list this sport I'd like to suggest them to do livestream if there is.

Yeah, everyone has different interest on games, that's why you could see majority of the people like football and the other ones don't like football, so same thing is happened in Sumo wrestling, even majority people know about it that it is entertaining sport, but they are not watching it or play it.

It's their own opinions and position regarding on how they will be entertained and how they will appreciate this type of game, if some still seeing entertainment but others are not and not paying attentions since they are not getting any good interest about the game.

The only one who can understand how entertaining it was to watch a SUMO WRESTLING is the one who is an enthusiast of it or living in a nearby place where the arena is easily accessible.

Simple as that as in my case, I'm not really enjoying watching sumo wrestling same with other sports I really don't follow like football, soccer, golf, tennis, etc.

People have different taste but in general, all sports are entertaining.

After some research I came to conclusion that sports betting platforms should at least try to accept bets on sumo events. If you will be one from only a few sites accepting such bets, chances are that you'll get thousands of new users.

if the match lasts for 1 minute or less then its not boring . the real boring is when the match takes too long to finish like boxing for example most match of boxing last 12 rounds and to be honest i find boxing boring especially if i dont know the fighters .

Not much of fighting and yet I feel the entertainment on that sports and I believe its already a culture that we can't erase from today's generation. Maybe a few are interested to watch the fight because of not so extreme fighting, but this kind of wrestling is classic and until now it brings fun to me as always.

I didn’t disagree with you. It is entertaining. For me, it’s like a lost art in the World today. As I see it, less and fewer people are talking about it. Maybe they are just not exposed anymore, or it's the way they wanted it. There is no social media attention of that too, AFAIK.

I only saw sumo wrestling in television but I don't watch it but I like it before. But it's entertaining because when I watch sumo wrestling I can make me happy. I think sumo wrestling use as betting who win between the two person I saw a lot of big 2 guys are participating in each round I think this game is originally came from the country of Japan.

It's a cultured based sport so it's not very popular in the west. They just consider those sports that are not culture based and capable for all of the people in the world. Sumo wrestling is just entertainment for them.

At least the world knows about it but the way i see this kind of match is just like a tournament that's not meant for Olympics yet they know about it. Although it is not that really designed for the Olympics since it is more about grappling the opponent and it does really belong to the entertainment showbiz.

I read an article few months ago about how the number of sumo players from Japan are becoming less and less important comparing with players from other nations. I don't recall it exactly but that's what I remember learning. I will pass with the health issues..
For the betting platforms I believe it can work in Japan but for sure it will not be as profitable for bookies around the world.

Same with me. It was one of the most interesting games I liked to watch on channels then and I liked how fat the participants would always look. On many occasions I watched it with my family and my dad had his favorite fighters.
