I've been at Sumo Wrestling events in the past and let me tell you that its actually a once in a life time experience. I'm not a local resident otherwise I'd go everyday. provided I could afford to. Those men, man! they were huge! And I guess that is why people go to see these events. Its a curiosity, a niche and people go there to be amazed more than anything.

And dude its the japanese, they don't like to talk or engage much with other people. Explaining japanese people or their culture is hard for anyone like me. as far as integration into Blockchain is considered. I don't recall seeing it anywhere relevant.

Haven't watched a full match but I don't find it entertaining. It's plus size men tackling and pushing each other and grunting.

Indeed. Even if it's seen as a traditional Japanese art, there are still gambling involved, as with any sports. I don't know how strict the Japanese are when it comes to gambling regulation but if someone's going to make a gambling platform for sumo matches, it's definitely gonna be Japanese. The sports is quite "niche" in that sense that it's not really popular outside their country.

Nah, SEA seem to be more a boxing people, especially Filipinos and Thais, with the latter having their own traditional boxing sport.

I find that sumo is very entertaining and also part of important culture, the result of the match sometimes cant be predictable, its really suitable for betting, but the one that interested is really little so I dont think its going to be popular if its put into gambling site

Im pretty sure that Japanese people will appreciate this game since this is their one of the greatest tradition in fighting. If only users here will come to watch every sumo wretlstling tournament then pretty sure that there will be a change on how one will see a good sports a one historic aports in Japan. This is also unique kind of sports to which it does not have in common with other sports.

sumo wrestling is still a kind of wrestling and there are many people that loves to watch wrestling but summo is verry popular on china and japan or other asian countries and i think they do integrate it with gambling .

i see that op is only asking if its entertaining or not well id say it still depend on the viewers , if your from the country that i mentioned earlier then you will find summo wrestling entertaining but if not then chances are you will find un-interesting .

It is entertaining especially if you really know what they are doing and you respect their culture. I watched a an anime where they show how this sport and even made an anime all about sumo. Is there any sites where you can bet your money in this games? I think Japanese people respect this game and do not bet on this game but just support the players.

There's a thrill if the game becomes intense, both players are good and strong but that's all, no other twist. So maybe that's the reason why I don't like this kind of game.

To be honest I don't really think that people would get hooked at it,
There are only a few people who would enjoy it and I don't think that other nation would be fan of it.
It could be entertaining but most people would prefer something like MMA fights when it comes to gambling.

I love watching Sumo wrestling not only entertaining but also fascinating in a sense the protagonist is having the same body weight, they are heavy in weight but very agile, it's not a very brutal sport but full of action, no wonder it is Japan's national sports it's a sport with a lot of discipline.

I haven't finished watching even a single match of Sumo Wrestling. I don't know. I think I just find it boring maybe because I'm not really a fan. So to answer the poll, my answer is a "no". But I'm not closing my doors in watching such events. Maybe, I'll give it a shot and watch it once I find a triggering reason why I should watch rather than why I shouldn't.

I was once in Tokyo many years ago and attended a SUMO WRESTLING at Ryogoku Kokugikan.
I wish I could find these pictures but I have seen some sporting events in my years of traveling and the way the fans got behind these SUMOs was incredible
I found it extra fascinating that you were aloud to make a bet on the SUMOs with people in the stands.

Sumo wrestling is entertaining for sure,but it's not,should I say,"gambling-friendly".The best sumo players usually always win and this makes it very predictable.As we all know,sports that are very predictable can't be used for gambling,because the bookies will lose money,most of the time.
