the post seems clear a little bit and understand some key points  but what im wondering of is why you include the country on your first sentence ?  you think the number 13 restricted or have a bad image on some country  ?  i think no but its the people that think the number 13 is badluck   . commonly the date 13 or friday the 13th are the ones that people avoid but when it comes to gambling i think all numbers were equally fine because gambling was done randomly  .

For me it's not more than superstition thing and the casinos possibly will might not avoid number 13 because unlucky number for the players which mean it will turn to lucky for them because if players lost pick that number then casinos will win however i don't know who starting this but seems number 13 always be linked to the bad things but if we talking about unlucky number then for each countries they will have different number such as 4 in Japan and China

Everyone have their own superstition. Some may believe that number 13 is not very lucky and can cause trouble. Some building owners doesn't want to use the 13th floor and just continue to 14th floor. So in gambling, gamblers won't bet the number 13 to avoid getting bad luck.

Omicron is another FUD
personally I do not believe in unlucky numbers, especially number 13, it's just superstition that is still circulating today.

stop fooling yourself with superstitions because as what i've seen in your posting most of this are believing in stupid things.
you always create tread that only you understand or others that has same views in life like yours.but the totality?majority of people here don't get what you are saying so stop it .
I respect your opinion, but what the OP is saying is a superstition that has emerged for a long time. in my country alone some people believe that the number 13 is bad luck, don't punish OP with words like this.

It was always part of superstition. Even in horror movies, the number 13 were sometimes part of it. But in gambling? I refuse to believe it. Who would've thought of 13 being unlucky that's why they won't bet for it? Personally I don't even think of that when gambling. I just choose number based on my intuition. Not all the times 13 is unlucky. I just believe it in certain things like in elevator and the Friday the 13th. Then the rest, I don't think that number is bad. But if you believe that, I'll respect that.
Who knows the number where  most superstitious believers is avoiding will be the best number to hit the jackpot. There's differences when it came to gambling as every gamblers have it's own version of things that they've going to follow but if we do base it statistically there's no concrete basis that
the results will follow according to your superstitious minds.

This superstition is already been roaming around in countries for generations but I don't think it's still appropriate to believe in it until now. There hasn't been any proof that 13 is really an unlucky number. As for me, there hasn't been an event that has influenced my life negatively because of the number 13. We all have our own belief and some people just feel lucky applying these superstitions.
This superstition has been shared for a century i think, it is easy to make something as good or bad. At some point the religious sect are part of this make-to-believe superstition. Just like how people curse or kills black cats in the past and up until now because they say it's a bad luck. To be honest, if you really care about the earth and other living things you wouldn't do such thing to make such money and profit.

You never praise stones or statue and other things despite that most religion are into it because of the cultural practices that's why it's all passed down to our present generation. If you want a change then start it with yourself to never believe such superstitious beliefs without a scientific proof.

Anybody who still believes in superstition in 2020 needs to really consider their own intelligence.

We live in a world where we have built rockets that put robots on mars, have created virtual worlds inhabited by artificial intelligences and machines that convert sunlight into power.

And you think that in this world, particular numbers that we invented have significance? What exactly would guide this? Does some divine creature have a fetish over the number 13 or 6? Be realistic...

This theory is easily testable, and you will surely find that there is no difference between gambling with any random number, and these numbers with so-called significance.

Well, if we do think up sensibly on what you have said then we can really see the point that theres no such thing about numbers that are unlucky specially on gambling
but you cant take or remove the fact that each country do have its own tradition which scattered out until it do reaches out by many people until it becomes a belief.
If we do really think of about chances on those so called or believed numbers are bad luck or doesnt give out good outcome then its not really that relevant yet
everything is random.

I really do not fully understand the point you are trying to make, but it seems you are trying to say that number 13 is a bad number or bring bad luck, right?
Well, I think it's all superstition. Such superstition probably causes people to be irrational or create unnecessary fear. Or have you observed any pattern that could be related to the number?

I never believe in Superstition so i never considered number 13 an unlucky number and also do not think lucky no 7 as most people believe in it.
This is just an inner satisfaction that we consider some numbers to be lucky ones and others to be unlucky ones and there is no logic behind these.

Yeah man. This doesn't makes sense in my own opinion. But I don't give a fuq on number 13. I'll pick it man when I felt I am winning with it.

In reality, number 13 has nothing to do with bad luck. Thirteen as a bad luck is not proven scientifically. And all these superstitious is nothing is for me, but old traditional beliefs. And those people aren't making any progress with technology and life.

To be honest, I don't know.

I knew an engineer and an architect. They told me that it is not good for them to design or build stairs with 13 steps. I thought this is just a superstition but I never thought that it is also being applied in professional jobs like that. In casino's, maybe people are avoiding it for the same reason. Don't know what is wrong with number 13 but it brings bad luck as they said it.

In fact, this story goes back to the roots of Christianity. Maybe there's a before.

Here are some of the first known source:

I remembered friday the 13th here.

Though I already read wikipedia 13 being lucky since we reported that in the past to my professor/lecturer. Still, I think this is just all a coincidences. But we know how older people tends to give meaning to almost everything that is why maybe this is happening.

I do not believe in superstitions but need to know how true are the people believes on such things.
People believe what they want to believe. Let me give you an example. We have a bingo lottery in my country drawn every Friday. You can purchase tickets all over the town in different shops and kiosks. There are at least 8-9 locations where you can buy your tickets.

One week a winner was drawn in location X. What do you think happened after that?
99% of the bingo players started buying lottery tickets only in that X location because it was named a "lucky" one. So now when you want to buy a bingo ticket there, you have to wait in line because everyone is buying it there.

It has got nothing to do with luck or lack of luck, it is just people believing what they want to believe.

I like odd numbers, much more than I like even numbers, so when ever I choose number to bet on (or to bet over or under it) most likely I will choose odd number, I choose 13 often. But it's like that because I like it, I don't think I'm superstitious, I just like 3, 7, 13, 17, 21, 23, 27 and so on... to 107, 117, 123, 141... some people like numbers, and we have our favorite combinations, it has nothing with superstition. Superstition and gambling are old topic, and while some people don't care about that some people have rituals like crossing fingers, blowing dice, carrying a rabbits foot with them or horseshoe..
People will try to do anything to win in gambling, and some are ready to go even further. I don't think that can help in winning, in gambling we win and lose all the time, point is to lose as little as you can and sometimes to rise bets and win a lot if you can.

First, I will not offend anyone if he does not know or is wrong in his country, but number 13 is an "unfortunate number" and people do not like him.

Number 13 is associated with the Lucky Six, a game where numbers are drawn before you draw, 6 numbers in particular.
In this game, each of the balls has different colors, and by playing the "case" Plague number 13 is black.
For all those superstitious, this is very bad and brings a bunch of bad things

Now, people never pick 13 when choosing numbers, but I thought more deeply.
Maybe the machine has artificial intelligence that deliberately pulls out number 13 because it knows people are an unlucky number and people won't dial that number.
That is my guess, it may sound naive, but the scratch was 70% correct.

I am interested in your opinions on this, whether it makes sense and whether you agree.
If something is not clear to you, ask?

That's because there are too many movies about Friday the 13th, how unlucky it is and how scary if you associated with you, and maybe you are right that these betting sites will try to make the 13 to come up because people don't want to have an association with the number 13, and also surprised that you made a study on it.

Each people on different countries do we have something called tradition and beliefs which would really have this kind of numeral bad lack thingy which had been tied up for some people who do gamble
or even on basic things in life.

For me i dont really believe into these kind of superstition because if you lose then your completely unlucky- no questions asked but people would still find a reason or way to blame out things thats why
there are several things which shouldnt really be tagged on would really get involved and been passed up to generation until it become traditional but overall -luck cant really be influenced by anything.

Completely removing number 13 from their choices doesn't make sense. It could work or backfire for a few times but removing one number that can be picked only because of the superstition would eventually lessen their chances of winning and increase the game's edge. In other cases they could avoid it if they want but in a casino it'll only make you lose much faster.
