I think the only way to make this strategy successfully work would be to take greater risks than you have by holding Bitcoin would be to take positions in upcoming ICO coins that have a chance to launch at 10 times prices. ZIL and WAN both managed this recently

Nowadays cryptocurrency market is an unpredictable market! Thus, you can do it, but do not exchange all of your Bitcoin to altcoins. The reason is sometimes Bitcoin is safer to hold. Its price is rising rapidly enough for profit without having any altcoins. But following the reducing risk regulations, I think you should swap some.

It wont happen that Bitcoin will lose its value, it tackles lots of challenges but still standing in the top. Better to do is hold it might reach 10$k in this year or the upcoming years.

This is an interesting idea, but I would doubt, that bitcoin will end..because the demand is rising day by day, nothing signs about the end

it seems you are taking a bigger risk by switching your bitcoin to altcoin, I think you are speculating without thinking about the risks,
you should re-think that you do not regret later,
because I think bitcoin investment is similar to investment in altcoin but bitcoin investment has a relatively small risk compared to investing in altcoin

I have always believed in the value of Bitcoin. After a sharp drop, Bitcoin has gradually recovered. I believe the price of Bitcoin will fluctuate continuously but the value always tends to increase.
If you have Bitcoin, you should keep and wait for high prices to exchange profits. There is a lot of potential Altcoin to invest in but it is far less stable than Bitcoin. Bitcoin should not be changed to Atlcoin. I have balanced my investment in the electronic money market, 60% Bitcoin and 40% Atlcoin.

Tried and I will say that while it is better to keep in bitcoins, if there is no vein and flair. And so you can play the markets and earn good money on alternative crypto! Cool

BTC to the MOON in 2019
May 13, 2018, 01:29:49 AM
It is advantageous to do this when bitcoin falls in price, and now it's somehow not the time. But this is your money for you to decide what to do with them. Of course, you can not keep everything in one coin.

Both bitcoin and altcoins are profitable, they are in one market and once people know about bitcoin they will also know about altcoins.
Just manage your funds effectively and as much as possible you have to learn how to diversify.

Bitcoin rally  today is huge and it must end at some point.

Now I want to swap part of bitcoins into alts with only one goal  - to gain bitcoin value. What do you think? What alts will raise in bitcoin price in next days if bitcoin begin to fall in dollar value?

From what I have noticed, the alts go up only when the Bitcoin also moves up. But the difference is that the swing will be more extreme for the alts. For example, if BTC goes up by 10%, then the average alt will go up by 30%. The reverse is also true. If Bitcoin drops by 10%, then the alts will also go down by 30%.

Normally either bitcoin is moving up or altcoins are in positive direction but not both.  Last few days are especial  in a way that both bitcoins and altcoins are moving up. i didn't see this trend before. Maybe it is due to year end where all the coins close at a high each year. Last year we say bitcoin reach 1000$ which was all time high at that time.

In the spring of 2017, too, everything grew, Bitcoin and Altcoins. It is difficult to predict what will happen next. In the last days bitcoin falls, altcoins grow. Therefore, it is better never to sell all bitcoin in your portfolio. Diversification of risks should always be.

If you look carefully alts are also rising recently, some of them with much larger gains than bitcoin, so although what you are saying is common, is not what is happening right now. If you look to coinmarketcap, almost every coin is on green, and this has been happening for the last 2 or 3 days. Given this, I don't really know in what alt you should try to invest because we might see a correction on every coin, and not just bitcoin. I wouldn't do anything right now if I were you.

I think it is good not to focus on one cryptocurrency, instead you can divide your investments into different coins and let them grow. If one fails, there's another one you can make money or give profits to you. Altcoins is another way to invest again in crypto market which I actually did these past few months. I gained lots of profits investing not only in bitcoin but in altcoins too especially in ETH, which is really good as an alternative to bitcoin. ETH has a potential growth in crypto market as being the best altcoin which has profitability and sustainability.

I would not sell bitokoyn completely. It is necessary to proceed from the amount of resources you have.I would do it: 20% bitcoin, in the long-term, given its support and emissions, is a very valuable asset.20% of the ether is also not bad.Further 40% in the top 20 cmc.The remaining 20% scattered on the bottom. But this is my personal opinion.

In the long term, bitcoin is still on the rise.
So what we need to do is hold, that's the right thing to do.
But you forgot about something, if bitcoin is gonna be on the rise, everything is gonna be on the rise too.. That is how crypto works, if bitcoin goes up, then, almost everything is gonna go up again.

If you are gonna put that money into good altcoins, then yes, it is a good idea after all.

But if you are gonna buy crap coins, then just leave that money in bitcoin, because it is gonna be more profitable.

Keeping your bitcoin is the safest way to do. However, you will no longer earn that much because the price is already high, unless you have a good number of bth. If you want to earn big time, take the risk and sell your bth for some altcoin.
