Exact block number wasn't announced yet. They said in telegram group that they're waiting to announce some more partnrships before they decide on block

If the project offers some real upgrades of bitcoin, I personally don't mind. It feels good to be getting coins for free especially if there is potential of exponential growth.

It's still unclear whether the snapshot or the fork happened or not yet? I have been checking CoinMarketCap since you first made this thread but I see nothing there.
I think they said the snapshot would be done at the time of fork

I have no idea what that means.
Again the main idea of Bitcoin Atom is to be able to exchange value via nodes - ie Atomic Swap. This is a unique feature not present in Bitcoin, which derisks, simplifies, and decentralizes the process of exchanging value.

With btc transaction fees becoming ridiculous, moving btc will be too expensive, btc will be only hoarded which gives other forks chance to take its place
