It's now giving me a error -27
already in block chain.
But it's not.
I just did an importprivkey for that one address on a new clean pc with just BCA installed and the coins are sitting there.
At this point I am going to wait for the block explorer to be released so I can do some tracing of it. Without seeing what is being seen on the network makes it that much harder to fight this issue. I think (and I really don't know if it's possible) that something made it into the mempool, and it's bouncing around a few nodes but not getting mined.
Thanks for all your time so far.

So the official block explorer shows the transactions if I look at the TXIDs.
The sending wallet still shows them in it. But I can't do anything with them.
The receiving wallet does not show any incoming transactions.
Very odd.
Going to have to play with this a lot over the weekend.

So after bouncing around playing with it all weekend I got the coins.
Was all on my side.
It looked like when I 1st sent them and my node crashed the transaction never made it past my nodes.
When I tried to re-transmit it a few weeks ago it worked but for some reason *my* nodes never accepted it. This I have no idea why, and I did not know that was even possible.
So I:
1)Shut down both nodes
2)Removed the wallet.dat (after exporting all the private keys)
3)Removed the entire blockchain from BOTH nodes
4)Resynced the entire blockchain
5)Imported private keys
And poof coins were there and could be moved.
Annoying as hell, but I did learn a lot so it's not all bad.
