Hahaha is this the most dead coin ever?  Grin

Imagine how it must feel to have bought this thing..
I think the same, I have never seen such a fall as the price fall of Bitcoin Atom, maybe community know why they do not support this coin...

the coin is sure not dead. They keep pushing the updates in wallet, it seems atomic swaps in qt will be released in April, which will be really great achievement. Then you will feel sorry you missed it Smiley

Last time I checked price were at around $16 per BCA. It really shocked me when few minutes ago I tried to see how this market is performing. This is what happens when there is no support from big exchanges and you can't relay on small exchanges. What one can expect now from this without liquidity this decline won't stop in future too.

yes this is absolutely right. small exchanges are not doing any good for this type of project, Atom needs some large exchanges with active buyers, because the miners need to sell some coins to pay electricity bills and small exchanges can't handle that.

I risked some amount on this coin because current price is very low from my point of view it is not bad to have fun with little amount on this. I think when bull run will come there is huge potential to make decent profit easily.

I joined your bounty campaign at the beginning for few weeks. I'm wondering whether I'm eligible for the reward. Or should I contact bounty manager directly? Thanks

Please address your bounty questions in bounty thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2567797.new#new. Thank you

Anyone knows an online service where you could check if your bitcoin address has BCA?
THanks

there is a block explorer at https://explorer.bitcoinatom.io, I don't think you can be looking at the address balance yet, but I understand devs should be replacing this explorer with their official one once it's synced. There you will be able to see your balance.

Yes, the official one will be available by end of next week or might be sooner than that. Right now, you can only check the status of a transaction in the above block explorer.

bitcoin atom needs to gain more traction by launching its core features because it's really interesting project yet the community is still quite small given its potential. Hope after atomic swaps toolkit the community will grow

I think people are already starting to recognize the value of bitcoin atom, at least the mining pools are being launched and miners are joining the project, which is good. Now we will see how it will get reflected on prices.

yes there are perhaps 3 mining pools now and telegram main chat consists of 3000 users. It's not much at all. There are coins with tens of thousands of community members which are nowhere near BCA in terms of functionality.

Crypto Swap Exchange

It's now giving me a error -27
already in block chain.

But it's not.

I just did an importprivkey for that one address on a new clean pc with just BCA installed and the coins are sitting there.

At this point I am going to wait for the block explorer to be released so I can do some tracing of it. Without seeing what is being seen on the network makes it that much harder to fight this issue. I think (and I really don't know if it's possible) that something made it into the mempool, and it's bouncing around a few nodes but not getting mined.

Thanks for all your time so far.

-Dave

So the official block explorer shows the transactions if I look at the TXIDs.
The sending wallet still shows them in it. But I can't do anything with them.
The receiving wallet does not show any incoming transactions.
Very odd.
Going to have to play with this a lot over the weekend.

-Dave

So after bouncing around playing with it all weekend I got the coins.
Was all on my side.
It looked like when I 1st sent them and my node crashed the transaction never made it past my nodes.
When I tried to re-transmit it a few weeks ago it worked but for some reason *my* nodes never accepted it. This I have no idea why, and I did not know that was even possible.
So I:
1)Shut down both nodes
2)Removed the wallet.dat (after exporting all the private keys)
3)Removed the entire blockchain from BOTH nodes
4)Resynced the entire blockchain
5)Imported private keys
And poof coins were there and could be moved.
Annoying as hell, but I did learn a lot so it's not all bad.

A truly decentralizes way of exchanging digital assets with on chain atonomic exchange and providing the independence of intermediaries and cenralized entities. Botcoin Atom will globalize because of this exchange that will be needed in the future.

it's Bitcoin Atom not Botcoin Atom Cheesy never mind, you're right about the atomic swaps, I can't wait for the moment that feature is already fully functional as exchanges have given me pretty hard times lately

But as I read, Coinomi supports bitcoin atom only if you are in developer mode, because I can not find in my Coinomi (mobile wallet) Bitcoin Atom depositing address.

Go to the play store, update your Coinomi app. Then, tap on +Coins from the menu. You will find Bitcoin Atom in the list. Add it and you are all set, you will see BCA and you can send and receive BCA!  Smiley
Thank you, I have not updated app, and I did not know that there is update, now I see in my Coinomi Bitcoin Atom and was succesfully added, hope everything will work now Wink. There are some new exchanges so I hope we will go to the moon  Cool
