Guys please educate yourselves how a coin works.

There is no Testnet nor is there a Mainnet. So there is NO coin at all. Just a promise that it will be there in the future.
So Coinomi for example can't implement a thing that is not there yet. No swiping without Mainnet and no transfers.

If you want atomic swaps look at litecoin maybe.

is Coinomi running already?

It's not activated yet but It should be soon according to their tweet three days ago but I wouldn't count much on it as the coin is being dumped.

Coinomi have confirmed they would implement Bitcoin Atom as soon as source and node are released, which is going to happen very shortly.

any ETA for wallets deployment?
What is an ETA?
from a non-native speaker to a non-native speaker: Estimated Time of Arrival (When It Will Happen)
thanks, yes i am a non-native speaker and i didn't understand what ETA means, i looked for it in Internet, but i found a lot of differents meanings, and i got more lost
It mainly used in aviation conversation between pilots and tower controllers which means at what time the aircraft arrives for general use it means what’s the starting time or how long it takes....etc

If anyone can create a bitcoin fork then why do they still end up being valuable? It seems like most of these forks should have a value close to nothing, yet most end up being worth a lot of money. Can someone please explain to me why this happens? It seems totally illogical. Thanks.

I like this question. I'd like to hear this explained. Putting out new technology is good but are these alts always worth it? Hell I see a coin for Cannabis, Cannacoin. Cool idea if it had application. I came up with the idea when I was high messing with bitcoins but said it's worthless. Are you going to send a stoner to an exchange? They want a burrito!

I am not criticizing but Dev team had lot of time to prepare these basic things which are asked most of the time like source code, official wallet. Now the situation is like this fork has happened but people are facing troubles to use the wallet. I hope these things will be made available without further dragging of time. BCA can be good player in this market with punctuality.

Ned Kelly nailed it, though in this case (and BCH), there is something that makes it attractive after the change. In the case of BCH, the bigger block size, and in the case of BCA, the atomic trading and planned compatibility with Lightning network make it interesting.

That being said, we're a few days past the fork with no block explorer, no source code, no official wallet, and no word. I'm not liking the way this smells. Granted, all it "cost" me was holding BTC for a couple of days, which I was doing anyway, but still, the futures market and all that noise, with no concrete followup, doesn't set well with me.

Hey Biomech, thank you for your interest in Bitcoin Atom. You're right that source wasn't published yet, however it will be done shortly, team is already deploying testnet for mining pools so the mining can start. But I can't agree that there was no follow up, we remain as much active after the fork as we were before, speaking with our community members, updating our social media and building the product and new partnerships. There are some very exciting milestones ahead of us. Smiley
will you publish here when can we start mining and where?
It will be fine if they do it because i am waiting for start to mining

something around 80$
i presume it will rise even more
well, directly speaking it could read as " will not drop any lower" - BUT this is a rare case when I decided not to get rid of free coins immediately  and to keep them in hopes for better future )
the best is to keep them for some time, isn't it?

Forks have a word bitcoin in their names.Smiley It's just a hype. The other hype word is blockchain. And I'm surprised that there is not Bitcoin Blockchain (or Blockchain Bitcoin) fork, or is there? If there is not and someone decided to make such fork I take 1% of premine of such fork. Just contact me via PM.Smiley
