1)  I'm proud of the freeroll selection right now, and I look to augment it with krillrolls in the near future

2)  Client & connection issues have gotten much better but there are a few bugs to still kill.  We should have another client update in the next day or 2.

Any update on when the html online client will be out  ? Be nice to be able to play on the client client directly instead of downloading.

Bro, you need to try http://dadice.com
This is such a great poker site! The best I have seen that uses bitcoin! Everything works smooth and fluently and the controls are easy too!

Most of them(70%) are 5 chips NL holdem freerolls, there are 2-3 15 chips NL holdem freerolls per day. Additionally, sometimes there are pot limit omaha, 2-7 draw, 5 card draw, horse, badeucey and etc. freerolls there. Hope you enjoy them and my answer.   Cheesy Grin

These freerolls are a great, no risk way to learn the new exotic games the new Seals has and maybe pick up a chip or two.  If you always wondered about badugi/badeucey/badacey or have nostalgia for 5 card draw, they're good fun.

Yeah, it is a great site, we enjoy comprehensive poker games here. SWC is BTC pokerstars. Other BTC poker sites only have Holdem and Omaha, but SWC has most kinds of poker.  Cheesy

But there are some trolls here, they shout SWC is a scam site when they lost, I see 2 trolls here today, after they lost they screaming and crying like a baby.  Sad

Finally, I won that 15 chips freeroll, trollers must hate me more.  Grin

Got the "no hand" problem again. Was the first hand of the final table at deepturbo. Refresh button didn't help. Pressing refresh button multiple times made client crash and almost fold next hand too.

So I try to bring up the client and it starts auto updating..... then it says there is already a version on the computer.

Seems sort of dippy; what did it think it was updating? My character set?

So apparently now I have to go uninstall the program?

That means that it won't have my name and password on it when it gets re-installed.

So I have to go to the work of remembering what they were.

........and not easy to find a link to the site either.

Actually it did remember the password!!~

Still no krill-rolls?

Almost no one at table games.

Looks like krill  now auto-update in real time?  If so I like that feature. ....

Why no 9 seat hi-lo-om?   FWIW I opened a table while doing tourneys and it filled after about 20 minutes.

I may write code in exchange for bitcoins.
For clients, We will need to wait 2-3 months, but Android is now under development, with Mac soon to start, and HTML 5 & Linux planned.

Android has the potential to really bring in a lot of new players that are already playing OFC on their phones.

Instead of playing for free and then trusting your opponent to pay money later they'll be able to play for money right in the app.

2-3 months would make it close, but would be a bonus if it's ready while the WSOP is still goin.

Yup, android will be enough to get me back in the game. Smiley

Does the site has freerolls? If yes, what are the prizes?

Yes. It has a lot of freerolls everyday. Many players join the freerolls, this site is very popular in BCT forum.

I just upload a screenshot for you, you can see it above.  Grin

Yes.  The number of freerolls per day varies.  Today I see 11 running from now till midnight Eastern US time.  They are 5 or 15 chip prizepool.  1 chip = 1 mbtc

If you can run windows you can download the client and check it out Smiley

We just did things.

Clients will need to be updated, and will report under help -> "About SwC Client" that it is version 1.0.0.5

The auto-updater is working for most, if it doesn't for you then try:

1)  Go to program files / swcpoker & click pokerupdate.exe
2)  If that doesn't work, download and install again:  http://swcpoker.eu/downloads/swcsetup.exe
3)  If *that* doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall.

this is likely overkill, as most are reporting an easy client update.

ST7 continues to improve the current system & new client work has begun.

While "Krill Week" is still a few weeks away and has yet to be finalized, you can expect the return of Krillrolls shortly.

I have tried all 3 a few times now.  Doesn't fix the issue.  Thanks for responding and I hope you get it fixed.   I should add that I am running Parallels 9 and the current version of OS X.  So one version behind on Parallels, which hasn't been a problem for anything else.

glitch gave me a workaround for the problem.  Hit him up if you are having problems running under a VM!

All <3 if anyone that solves their VM-SwC issue posts it publicly to help others at this early stage of SwC.

We have krillrolls & clients on the horizon, and while "Krill Week" has been discussed internally, details are not finalized.  Expect the return of krillrolls in a couple of weeks.

There seems to be a serious lack of cash games running (in addition to the barren MTT schedule) since I last played a couple weeks ago.  I tried to table start for two hours today and nothing.  Are there any plans to try to incentivize people to actually play poker on the site?

I agree, there is a lack of cash going ATM.  I think our rocky start with the lag had something to do with it.  Currently the system has been running stable.

I think Mac client, Android, HTML5, Linux will add back many players.  We are planning on how we will bring back the krillrolls, and have an advertising strategy once we have all clients.  Network effect poker is only achieved when everyone reports to one site.  It's one of those few cases where decentralization hurts the economy.

Much work to do, but I have a plan and it's being executed as we speak.

Any chance you can share the timeline?  So I know when I can come back for a browser client and/or android?

Agree.  You need people playing in order to get more people to play.  It's kind of a chicken/egg thing.  But once you reach a certain point it will snowball.

I also agree that there are times when there is a lack of action.  But, like Micon posted, I know that they have a plan and things are still on track.

The first issue they were worried about was improving connectivity.  Now that they have turned the corner in that area they can start to work on promotions and expanding the games.

The games will get a lot better soon with an expanded tournament schedule, promotions, krillrolls, and other-than-windows versions.  This is just the beginning.

Also, like Naked said, a lot of times even when there aren't tables running I feel like there are still people waiting to play.  There are people that don't want to start tables, but will join once it gets 3 handed.

It obviously depends on which game/stake you are looking for... but sitting and posting an action request has usually worked well.

I think of it like a scene at a school dance in some cheesy movie.  Everyone standing around on the sidelines not wanting to be the first one to start dancing.  But once one guy does then eventually the whole party joins in.

As I said, I sat and requested action to try to table start for 2 hours today...nothing.  That never happened 2-3 weeks ago.  It's clear, based on that and also just looking and seeing the decline in running tables, that the number of cash game players has dropped.  Your optimism is good, obviously everyone would love for there to be a ton of cash games running.  I'm merely asking if there is a plan for that, and when to expect that.

I think if we got a way to filter HU tables out of the Active tab it would probably help the action in the flop games. Even if you want to table start sorting out the 1/6 from all the 1/2s is irritating.

Alternately, it's a good time to learn mixed games and OFC.

Micon, I do think you guys should be using the capability of the new software to have deposit bonuses often, even now. Make them clear really slowly if you have to, but make them large and promote them.
