I would like a refund for a .01 entry into a tournament as I registered and logged into the client and everything seemed fine but when the tournament started my client kept closing after 10 seconds or less and occasionally a box would open and say the client needed to be restarted. I reinstalled the client during the tournament and everything and it still would keep closing. I would just make random plays and when it closed I would reopen it and log in and it was awful. When I open the client now it still keeps closing after a few seconds. What can be the issue as I don't have issues with other poker clients or any issues with loading websites at all.

I may write code in exchange for bitcoins.

From what I understand the order of roll-out will be Windows, Android, Mac, Linux, Browser.

"Browser" is the only one which doesn't require the user to download and run opaque binary code, and the only one that works for everyone. If it was up to me that would be the one to work on first.

Fully agree on this.
Browser version should be in first position of the list for me as well.

the calculation on which to do first was based on # of users on each platform.  It should also be noted that for power users, clients are preferred greatly over browser.  I have well heard the crowd requesting the browser version.  It will be built.

Interesting.  I can see what you mean about power users preferring desktop clients with many bells and whistles, that doesn't really surprise.  One thing to think about, though, is that power users grow from casual users.  That is, I started playing bitcoin poker basically because I was into bitcoin, had played poker in the past, and sealswithclubs flash client was accesssible.  I doubt I ever would have tried it if I was supposed to download some client. Now, once I was hooked, I did download the GNU/Linux client when it was released.  However, in my case, I'm still not a power user, just a casual player with an obscenely long bus commute.  Anyway, my point is that you grow the base of power users by roping in casuals, of course you know tha too.

Here's a question for you: how hard would it be to point the old sealswithclubs app to the new domain?  Sure, it's not the "new software" and all that, but for those of us who just want tojump in and degen a while, the old android app did the job just fine.  Eventually you can make a new android app, but is there some technical barrier to allowing play on the old app in the meantime?

Still waiting for a bit to bring back the MTT schedule in full force.  Let us fix a few more bugs then I'll have something for you to fire on 24/7.

The connectivity issue we have been cranking on is the most urgent.  ST7 is powerful, but there is a limit on what can be accomplished each day.  I am ordering the tasks as best I know how, and some will disagree with me.  In a few months we should be looking at a system with most of the features requested, and as I've said many times there is pain in the short term.  We are 25 days old and growing fast.

allow site admins to send popup messages vs just saying things in the chat.  many times i don't have the chat even open.

when site is going down.  send popup message (ex site reboot in 15 minutes).  block new players from sitting at cash tables with message (ex awaiting site reboot) until server is restarted.  this way current players should have received the message and if someone shows up inbetween they won't get caught playing during restart.

We're going to push the red button, it should be very short restart.

The rough start here and neteller accepting bitcoin (which is a big big way of depositing into pokerstars) , I think SwC lost awful lot of market share to pokerstar which was expected if pokerstars accepted bitcoin but it might happen in a longer way then direct way.
Almost all Seals players are from USA. They still cannot play on Stars.

Do tournaments that do not meet the guarantee affect your rakeback?
No, it doesn't affect. When you are into a tournament paying 1 chip, that chip counts as rakeback whether it is  a GTD or a normal tournament.

That is odd, I think I should have got around 0.81. I didn't get any rakeback at all. Do you have to have at least 1 chip to get rakeback?

You only need 0.01 rakeback to get paid.  No more rounding down to the nearest whole number.  I received 0.17 in rakeback as I only worked 75 hrs last week so no time to play Tongue

I liked old Seals, and new version is good too. I miss a little 20 chips freerolls for 54 players, but existing now freerolls replaced them. Also it's very good that there is a chinese poker. In general, at SwC now there are many kinds of poker games for BTC, and I needn't look for other similar sites any more.

Hi. In hold'em, is it possible to face up the hole cards once all players are all-in? When you're all-in preflop, it's more exciting to see the flop turn and river knowing what the villain has, say some rude words and beg god to crack those aces with a random straight or trips.
I think pokerstars does the same but I've never understood why. Specially casual players get more fun knowing how the things are going when they're all-in preflop. And maybe I'm wrong, but I think that live poker casinos are forcing you to put your hands face-up when both players are all-in before the showdown.

I agree with this and it should be face up in all games when someone is all in.  It was like that in the old Seals too........but not SWC. Not a huge deal as I love the software but I agree with you and hopefully they change it.
I noticed that in tournaments is already the face up way, so maybe it's easy to change.

I'm going to
still wait to play until everything appears
smoother like android..android..android...android
Just 2words about android if/when will be there.Make a separate identical playmoney version, throw it on Google Play.Make sure inside of that app are plenty of links to bitcoin app.Succes guaranteed, many players wasting time on Zynga and similar, altough those companies offer only Holdem.
Mobile market is huge and expanding, should be exploited properly.
PS. I haven't recovered old affiliate yet, hope it will wait for me to be in front of PC(not gonna happen soon tho)

We are now back up, and I promise you ST7 is going to solve the connectivity issue very soon.

I still am taken aback sometimes by how amazing the ST7 team is.  It's been a rough launch, pain as expected to start.

I'm confident we'll eat all bugs including the biggest one, connectivity.

No issues if a player said to me "I'm going to still wait to play until everything appears smoother"

...but... If you'd like to bang on it right now, it's open for bitcoin poker action on a wide variety of games.

Big <3 this community, thanks for playing SwC.
