Yeah I think just this meaningful professional dialogue w the players is a good idea.

Thoughts on the 12 game high roller - CONS: Structure was too fast (esp when you're the first to bust); there was no re-entry - as an almost strictly cash game player, I just figured all tourneys were re-entry now on every site whoops; but would be good if re-entry was possible

PROS: Though only 5 players ponied up the .25 BTC buy in, we had fun and I think more will come around as the tourney gains notice; the extra cash game action, presumably bc of the tourney was beneficial for the players and the site.  There were mid/hi stakes mix games running almost all night Sunday and Monday; the rake for the tourney was unbelievably low and compared to the stars Friday $530 8 game, a much higher percentage of the buy in is going to the prize pool at swc

The site is run so much differently than other operators (both for the good and sometimes, the bad).  Everybody else is raising rake and trying to get you to degen your poker roll on their casino games.  Still, the broad software compatibility issues (which don't effect me as I have a PC) reduce traffic.  That's the key to bringing swcpoker to the next level.  Continuing to listen to the players, slowly growing traffic as other rooms die out or their customers get fed up w the operators' greed, until you guys can roll out software that allows everybody to play easily.

But as players, we have some responsibility if we want more, more, and more. Nothing wrong w the micro player that freerolls his way into a roll and builds it up - that's always a cool thing.  But when they give the lowest rake, offer any game at any stake pretty much, and award about $700 in extra rakeback weekly from their (scaled-back) leaderboard, it's time to stop asking what your site can do for you and what you can do for your site.

We need to deposit when we can.  We need to have more regs willing to battle it out, esp in the PLO/NL category.  The mix guys seem pretty good about this, but like greedxisland (who made a great post) she even wont usually sit and battle the other bumhunters at these big buy in NL/PLO game she mentioned.  Lobbies don't look good when there's a guy at 10 hunl tables by himself.  Wish I had more time to play but unfortunately I only have 15-20 hours/wk. I guess we can all do more and hopefully that will grow the site and poker, in general.

Regarding the High Roller 12 Game, we have upped the chips to 4,000 starting stack for this Sunday. We will continue to listen to our high limit mixed game players about this special tournament and continue to make adjustments as needed.

Regarding our Krill Leaderboard promotion and our player-friendly rake structures, our vision has always been to create real player value and offer the lowest rake in the business. We believe that industry standard rake structures and predatory casino practices are wrong and greedy.

I second the general concept and HTML5 in particular seems the best option.

We have heard the community loud and clear on this matter. It has been added to the development path.

Since the overkrills are all meeting/exceeding their guarantees, it seems pretty obvious that the market is there and the only thing holding people back from playing more tournaments is the guarantees.  Maybe it's time to bump up the guarantees on dailies and start getting some real traffic?

It has been our experience that guarantees do not motivate overall traffic, but rather entices the current traffic to play a specific tournament. We plan to raise our guarantees as tournament play increases. We expect this to happen after we release more clients.

I am happy to see active posting and responses from SwC_Poker, and I hope it continues.
I feel that keeping good communication is just as valuable as anything else.

Thank you for Playing SwC Poker. Since we have recently deployed more resources, we feel it is more important than ever to keep the player-site dialog going. We welcome all feedback about the site.

dooglus,

Your thoughts are taken seriously by our team.

Would a Linux client satisfy you?

Personally I would prefer a cross-platform in-browser client.

I've been unable to log in to my account for some months now. Has it been locked? How do I regain access to it?

Currently the only way to log in is via our PC Client.

If you need help recovering your account, drop an email to: [email protected] and we will sort it.

I just tried again from a Windows VM and it worked this time.

I'm glad someone's thoughts are taken seriously. As a former high volume reg on SWC, none of the very simple things I've asked for have been addressed.

Dooglus, can you ask them to fix OFC and connectivity issues. Also been waiting on OFC mtt's for 2 years...

Thanks,
BowToTheBot

BowToTheBot,

Thank you for your feedback. We have recently deployed new resources to attack many of the issues our players have been rightfully screaming at us to fix.

OFC has undergone significant improvements since launch and is played regularly on the site at a wide variety of limits. We agree further improvements should be made, including improving timeout functionality. If you have any specific feedback on the game, send it to: [email protected] and we can assure you it will be seen by the team.

We hope you will continue to monitor our progress and try us out again at a time when you are satisfied with our software.

Due to the restrictive nature of Apple products, we currently have no plans to develop an iPhone app.

Did you notice that Microsoft's offering is also of a restrictive nature? Yet you still exclusively support their proprietary platform.

How about supporting open standards so that those of us who choose not to use Microsoft's crapware can continue to use your site?

Hint: HTML5, javascript, etc.

there are freeroll on this? i'm searching to death some poker room with nice huge freeroll tournament with a decent prize but i cna't find any with a decent size of players

SwC Poker has 3x freerolls each day. With light play, you can also gain permanent access to KrillRolls, which offer a bit more value.

Unlike with Apple and iOS apps, you don't need to be in Microsoft's app store to distribute your Windows app.

We are developing clients in the following order:

Android (active development)
Mac (active development)
Linux
HTML5

If you started with HTML5, none of those others would be necessary.

Happy Monday To All Players

While Monday can sometimes be a downer, when you play SwC Poker Monday becomes Moneyday. Today, just like every Monday, SwC Poker pays back huge chips to our players:

✔️️ Krill Rakeback: PAID
✔️️ Table Starter Rakeback: PAID
✔️️ Affiliate Payments: PAID

Krill Rakeback, Table Starter Rakeback, & Affiliate Payments have all been paid to player accounts.

This means that if you played SwC Poker last week your bankroll just got a top up. Some didn't even have to play to earn chips this Monday. Our affiliates get paid 20% of each player they refer, so if you own a blog, have a twitch channel, or even if you just have signature space you want to monetize, the SwC Poker affiliate program is a great way to earn some extra coin each week.

Notable Wins This Week:

✔️️ Congrats to DogeDigital for winning the first ever High Roller 12 Game for 1,200 Chips!
