Also, who is to judge if the animal took damage? You can't 'measure' psychological damage per say ( yes, this also applies to animals ), and even if there is no visible impact or wounds, would you just assume the animal took no damage?

Yup, it's like when they outlawed illegal downloading. Like 90% between the ages  13-50 still download illegally because the chances of getting caught are sooo slim. I personally don't think the law will change anything, those who didn't
have sex with animals ( the majority, the normal people ) will still not
 have sex with animals, and the people who used to will most likely continue.

Not that I know off, it is really rare. The animal protection thingy has gained 227 reports in 35 years.. So the law didn't really matter much either.

Yeah, been thinking about this myself - I've been to the weird site of the internet and the vid I saw the dog didn't really seem to suffer from it... On the other hand it could have been pumped with  sexual enchancement drugs, who knows. But if it isn't drugged I see no harm, however it's pretty backwards to have it legalized either way.

Have you ever met someone IRL who likes to make love to animals? O_O I have never men someone like that... I think there are not many people like that.

What if the animal is doing the humping?
What if an unsuspecting drunk person is getting rammed from behind by man's best friend?
