well does this have a newer version of the cgminer software...if so i need to get it and give you a donation (got it at one time but never bothered to overclock
the jupiter ..kinda then lost track of your project......was kinda beyond that point and an oct jupiter anyway...but would be nice if it had a newer version of cgminer then 4.3
or whatever (not sure why I'm doing this what am I gonna mine instead TEKCOIN? lol )

On the other hand the Jupiter makes an excellent 'space heater' in the basement and my gas bil this winter (budget) is down 35 bucks a month ..so with that as a
consideration...well.. maybe there is some slack in the old girl yet (at 15ckwh)

Honestly, no one I offered it to, took it.  I overclocked the shit out of these jupiters and with them being damaged, no boards really quit.

I wouldnt be surprised if some of the companies in China are state involved somehow and either dont pay for electricity or steal it and the citizens ultimately pay for it.

Since KnC has some of the most efficient machines on the farms associated with it, the mined coins might arguably continue to be dumped until the price is so low that even their farms will just barely be making a profit.  When that becomes true the majority of less efficient large farms will have shut down - unless they're getting free electric.  At which point only the very efficient large farms will afford to mine Bitcoins - until reward for finding a block drops from 25 to 12½.

Disappointed in the community since the overwhelming majority of people that PMed me to confirm they were sending donations never actually did (mostly looking for help at the time), but at this point it's good to know it's still making a positive difference..

I burned a psu the day before I got my Y cables, almost burned the connector on the titan side.
 
Good thing is, I send back the psu and got approval for a replacement.
I'm getting a evga 1300 instead of coolermaster 1000.

I received a bag of Y-cables from KnC on Monday; About 40 days after receiving the Titan.

I guess I was lucky and nothing burned in the meantime.  I expect the board connectors may burn still, but if they do at least they won't damage the connectors on my power supply cables now.

If you are OK advertising for someone who in your own words is probably a scam,
I think your KnC situation is just reward.

Add to that your often repeated statements about being forced into legal mining status,
and it's clear what side of the line you reside on.

You seem not to care who gets fucked in the process as long as you get yours.

What baffles me is that you did not get the memo about discression.

its POS coin (ie virtual miners)...Got no problem with mining anyones new sha256 alt ...everyone can make an alt imho what happens after

but as an example below on my little 0ct knc 567gh jupter sha256 unit.

on slush at 115% mining btc I was getting enough to pay elec costs to BTC (due to lag/slowdown of btc difficulty) of 0.007 btc a day or for 44hrs 0.0134 btc on slush

mining paycoin with my JUPITER miner on www.westhash.com directly to BTC I am making for the last 44hr i get 0.135 btc on westhash sha256 paycoin will do this till the 19th
when this promo ends by gaw or 10x what I can make with my baby Jupiter on BTC directly

so I've no problem with that ..anyone imho can start their own alt and I will mine it if it pays....the tagline if this all goes "pear shaped" I have more problem with..if this
all ends up to be a scam come the weekend and beyond with the whole virtual mining etc

AND I HAVE nothing else in GAW no miners no virtual miners zippo...just the mining till the 19th of the sha256 paycoin for gaw and the tagline below.

All is said and done an the mining of paycoin gets pulled on dec 19th at midnight as stated and then if all is too scammy...I decide to pull the tagline I will have probably made between 0.9btc or 1.1btc off of GAW on my end...and for all intents and purposes will be out of it completely (unless they want me to mine more sha256 paycoin at same rate in future lol )

I'm not entirely sure when all is said and done that may be the case for everyone ...I very likely or others like me may be the ONLY people to make
money from GAW from what it looks like so far...scam or not.....but yeah the tagline is an issue when/if it all goes to pot this weekend this will be the last month for the tagline

Bitcoins originated from the miners, so you cant fault them for selling if they want to, because there are capital equipment costs and other related ones like electricity, rent, maintenance, etc.

The problem with the value of bitcoin is it is only a "perceived" value which has no monetary basis except those created by exchanges that will exchange them for a certain currency, basing this on mainly supple and demand.

Bitcoin's preceived price is dropping because there are not enough buyers.

What is a fair price?  I dont know.  It was $1100 USD last year, but $.0025 USD 5 years ago.

The long term slow drop in Bitcoin value, is it the result of bad press foist by banks or the dumping of mined Bitcoins by large farms like those associated with KnC?

A long slow decline is bad for miner/investors like myself who don't dump the mined Bitcoins.  But, it would seem ideal for owners of large farms who see the decline as reducing the number of users getting into mining and therefore the reduction in private purchase of mining gear and less competition.

Historically, since KnC's gear came on the market, the best thing to have done with the mined Bitcoins is to have dumped the Bitcoins for cash.  Did they foresee the result of constantly dumping the Bitcoins?  Would the slow decline in value have happened anyway?  We know the banks don't object to Bitcoin becoming useless as an investment.
