Is the Titan PCB the exact same as the Neptune PCB but with a different ASIC installed?

I am actually more upset about KNC's lack of responsibility than anything else. The promised to release their hardware by  a certain time with certain specs they should have done so. If they couldn't they should have contacted every paid customer and told them they were sorry and offered to refund or provide some kind of compensation. They didn't do this, well they offered some kind of compensation but still have not followed through or given any of us a time when we might receive our second miners; at this point by the time they ship out the second miners (Neptune's) they will be as power at 100GH/s miners are today.

It's sad this has that someone has to step in and protect our best interests (aka lawyers) as KNC doesn't seem to care otherwise they would step up to the plate and act more like a business and less like rip off artists who take your money and run away making false promises and never really delivering anything worth what was originally promised at the time it was promised to be delivered on. I suspect the lawsuits will bring KNC down easily and that the owners will be hunted down by Interpol like so many others before that tried to run their businesses like this have had happen to them.

To those who are on the class action band wagon, I would recommend you ask the lawyers to raise the limit to BILLIONS not millions and request the lawyers tell the judge they want to set a precedence so that other hardware manufactures know just how serious this kind of manufacture to customer behaviour won't be tolerated by the courts.

Are there any lawsuits against KNC going on that of the people who bough B1/B2 units and still haven't heard/received their extra Neppy as promised by KNC?

I am starting to think they will never ship B3's or the extra Neptune's, if they do 3.4TH/s will be worth what 100GH/s will do right now.

Might be best to PM me as I don't always check this thread.

Thanks!

Police in Sweden carried out a raid in Stockholm today, seizing servers, computers, and other equipment. At the same time The Pirate Bay and several other torrent-related sites disappeared offline. Although no official statement has been made, TF sources confirm action against TPB.

Next police`s target is KnC offices!!!

Please provide actual links to the this information otherwise is just hearsay and likely hasn't happened.

I heard your mom was arrested for trafficking cocaine!!

Now which is fact, your no bs or my bs?

Seems like KNC have also borked bfgminer badly. A loose pointer or something seems to be spraying some config data in the bfgminer process.
no-submit-stale is going from true to false all by itself after the miner runs for a while. I am also hearing reports of in process pool data getting scrambled. At first guess, the problems seem associated with the code that tries to restart dead dies. 1.95 will happily go off into endless rolling screens of stale shares for hours at a time after some hours of running scrypt-n.

Months after originally shipping a couple so they could pretend they met their obligations, this is still a half-baked product.

Yeah the Titan is a worthless piece of shit.
I just tried load balancing across two scrypt-n pools with 1.94-beta and the machine just sat there begging me to put it out of its misery.

KNC is failing big time.

Just in case you're still not sure KnC, check your outgoing email records for an evidential example: Anna (kncminer) Oct 30 08:32

Kurt admitted more than a few times in their forum that KNC knew they had problems with p2pool, load balancing, and fast block time coins.

They shipped a half-baked product so they could meet their delivery commitments and then spent the next few months trying to get all the features working.

 Cheesy
Very funny how KnC tries to change the past.
It's so easy to verify that the titan did not perform as claimed.

Put older firmware, i.e. v1.01 on your miner ( https://github.com/KnCMiner/titan/releases/tag/v1.01 )
and mine 'fastcoins' on p2pool with load balancing. Take screen-shots or a video as evidence.

Is beta firmware better than 1.15 for lite coin mining or not

Clueless!

It was very profitable for the first hour
It was slightly profitable for the second hour
It was even with litecoin mining for the third hour
Now it's about 40% less than litecoin mining.

As these things tend to go.........  Smiley

is any scrypt N coin going to 'stay' with scrypt N algo or are they all running for a different algo then scrypt N in that these coins were originally
touted as asic resistant?

i do not see much future in mining 'bill murry coin' as an alternative to vertcoin ..?

so what scrypt N is even kinda sorta maybe worth mining or has that ship sailed... due to knc's failed timeline on scrypt N?

(not that you are going to know it was a 'fail' from knc's point of view when they release the scrypt n option as non beta and tout it on their main site)

Sorry if this has been already published bu KNC has released beta firmware for mining Scrypt-N

Vertcoin is very profitable right now before thier move to a different algo end of month it would be wise to point your Titans to a vertcoin pool in the short term

Interesting, would love to hear about its profitability mhs/watt wise..
