two of your cubes are fucked.
no, i found it is about ribbon cables slot, some of them are working
i changed about 10 cubes on those two slot and all of them shown 50mhz
even those cubes are working on other ribbon cables

so the controller is fucked?
maybe, still testing them

For those who have both BFL and KnCMiner experience. Which company is worse? Can you even compare the two?

KnCminer had and still has huge margins for the Titan that they refuse to even give a fifth cube or ship within a week of getting their chips.

And their whole datacenter made them wealthier than anyone ever has been in the bitcoin scene.

While both have had issues, I don't believe KNC is worse than BFL. It's also a very subjective topic.

spending almost 8 hours with 5 titans and none of them is running properly atm

I'm struggeling too but the new firmware v1.02 helped.

After the upgrade and a reset to factory defaults, setting diff pool side to 10240 got me (more or less) stable a 300-324Mh/s per tit (I have 2) at the pool.

Hi everyone,

I've been lying low for while plus been busy with normal work etc, etc.
I see that nothing has changed here and KNC seem to be getting worse with their customer relations.  Oh well what else is new...

Why I'm here is because I did receive tacking number for my Titan and UPS have called me to pay for customs, taxes and fees which amounts to a wopping $1320

Now what I'm thinking is if I ask KNC to re-invoice me for the Titan to a lower amount so I can reduce the Tax that I have to pay.

What do you guys think?  You think KNC would comply and help me out?

I think this would be fair especially because the value of a 400MH/s Titan is now $6995 which works out to appoximately $17.49 per MH/s
So for a 300MH/s Titan 300 x 17.49 = $5247 which would reduce the Customs tax bill by a few hundred dollars

Am I making sense, you think KNC would do this?

Cheers
merv

What is your approximate order number?

my order number: 1930X, paid on 19th March

I have tracking number but hasn't arrived as yet, it will probably be next week.

I have changed the pool : its seems the titan doesn't like clevermining.
So I'am pointing the Titan at my WDC pool and its very stable : 260 MH/s + (underclocked @ 250mhz)

I think it's been established already that multipools don't like the Titan. They can't handle the hash for some reason.

i've noticed no miner likes clevermining...i always have lower reported hash there then anywhere else with multipule different units too

I found Multipool to be pretty good, with in hand hardware mining, you can choose your coin by the port # & they're fair on the fee's & payouts are on time & pool uptime is great  Wink

Corsair psu is awful

EVGA SuperNova PSU's are pretty good. I have two NEX 1500W on my Neppy cubes.
