Just received my Titan :

PSU : corsair AX 1500i
cannot run it above 250 Mhz (def : 300) because the PSU shutdown in protection mode.

at 250 Mhz, this shit draw 1100 watts

the hashrate vary between 150 & 250 mh/s

some times it stop mining, I just need to reboot it. Like that :

ps : if some one know where to buy  pci-e Y cable for the titan, please tell me, I don't want to wait month before knc deliver them.
ps2 : the miner is pointed here : http://clevermining.com/users/13BeJG5DuNgsY2aMDCqEwtbDrYfRQryjip

You can disable OCP on AX1500i...

From Corsair Forum: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/blog/2014/may/setting-up-ocp-on-the-ax1500i

"The other method that can be used is to turn off the OCP altogether. To do this, you must check all of the boxes for OCP and then uncheck them. After no more than 15 seconds, OCP will be disabled on the AX1500i power supply."

I wonder whether batch2 will begin shipping a month after the first units ship from batch1 or a month after the last unit from batch1 ships.

It should be the latter, but given that KNC want to kick us all to the kerb and get back to what they do best, namely, mining with the hardware they manufacture, I'm guessing it will be the former.

my bet is batch 3 and the free neptunes (batch 3 is 5995 for 3Th) will be allowed to convert to the arctic cloud...6 months of hosting with what you paid for your
3rd batch neptune at $5995 equals 9630.522088353414 TH which will complete the screwing over of 1st batch 2nd batch everyone that got equip from knc in the past

they won't do this you say

it is a win/win for KNC ..they keep the 20mm equip for their data farms...(its theres after 6 months) they hook a bunch of folk into cloud mining..they don't have
to deal with us pesky want roi customers...(same with cloud hashing but you don't really know till the 6th month)

anyway my bet....more angst to come even after we get out equipment

I think you got one part of the story right for sure.  I don't think KnC will ever deliver on the bonus Neptunes.  That was all merely a scam to prevent people from claiming their refunds.  I can't believe KnC so royally screwed the very people who paid for their datacenter.  What a freaking farce.  Don't they have consumer protection laws in Sweden?

I have changed the pool : its seems the titan doesn't like clevermining.
So I'am pointing the Titan at my WDC pool and its very stable : 260 MH/s + (underclocked @ 250mhz)

I think it's been established already that multipools don't like the Titan. They can't handle the hash for some reason.

wemineltc.com has high availability pools with high VARDIFF that auto adjusts....should be able to handle the whole worker at 300MHz.  Merged mining with dogecoin too. 0.5% donations is recommended.

What was your order number with KnC?  When did you order/pay on March 19th,2014?

I remember when folks first got their gear last year and complained of low hashrate and dropouts, they also had low temps. These things almost seem overcooled. Whenever my KNC gear gets above 50, that's when it becomes stable and fast.

Perhaps, as mentioned a few posts back, the temps just need to get up. Of course, it would be nice if it "didn't" have to do that.

Hi everyone,

I've been lying low for while plus been busy with normal work etc, etc.
I see that nothing has changed here and KNC seem to be getting worse with their customer relations.  Oh well what else is new...

Why I'm here is because I did receive tacking number for my Titan and UPS have called me to pay for customs, taxes and fees which amounts to a wopping $1320

Now what I'm thinking is if I ask KNC to re-invoice me for the Titan to a lower amount so I can reduce the Tax that I have to pay.

What do you guys think?  You think KNC would comply and help me out?

I think this would be fair especially because the value of a 400MH/s Titan is now $6995 which works out to appoximately $17.49 per MH/s
So for a 300MH/s Titan 300 x 17.49 = $5247 which would reduce the Customs tax bill by a few hundred dollars

Am I making sense, you think KNC would do this?

Cheers

What is your approximate order number?

Knc have stated on their forum that batch 2 Titans starts shipping 1 month after batch 1 is finished shipping.

First generation of anything (cars, technology, etc) always has bugs. Hopefully they can resolve some issues with firmware, and through batch 2. Batch 2 orders are still open apparently.

Still, sucks that the folks who paid for the gear had to wait to the very end of the deadline, it's a shame. But, it's a hobby afterall.

I think orama had honest and good intentions. He took the boot and he did sign a NDA on everything, which should be enough to tell you the truth. He was suckered in and saw the truth.

I really would like to hear what Orama has to tell about the inside of KNC.

yeah my view is he quit after they screwed us with the mining farm after telling us we could get jan 2014 jupiters and probably
had to sign a NDA......

possible I guess..the timing works

That would be illegal of them to do, but if they do please send me a copy of the invoice  Grin
(I would love to use this against KnC Group AB in court)

other companies I've bought from have lowered the value, Spondoolies did, pcfli with the Dragon miners did

gee I'm not asking to put a ridiculously low value, just a realistic value.
to put this another way, what would a 300MH/s Titan be worth now.  How much do you think you'd get on eBay for one?

Anyway I'm going to send KNC an email and see what they reply if they reply at all.

Thanks guys for the replies
