Run a Bitcoin node.

Here's the post mentioned earlier about an announcement

Does anyone know if it includes a Power Supply or not?

I'm assuming it will be the same as Jupiter, and not include a PSU...
I don't really mind, however one advantage to including the PSU is that it takes up less space - the PSU is integrated into the unit.

Put your hand up if you are responsible for every 2nd post of this 1600+ page thread

Now ask yourself - are 99.9% of the posts a waste of space, which add nothing to the thread ?

Run a Bitcoin node.
I'll never forget this line.....   " We are serving more than three million dollars a day to resell the bitcoin we break ourselves," said Sam Cole.

Said just like they think they are doing us a favor with those boards they taunted us with.
While sucking the entire network's wealth dry.
Such a chore "Breaking" the coin yourselves... Thank you so much.

How long do you think it will take them to setup another farm, only filled with Titan's?

Probably a week or two.

Interesting how KNC could execute a 51% attack on the entire scrypt network with only a few million dollars. Looks like the whole purpose of scrypt (resisting asics) has failed.
The original point of Litecoin (which introduced Scrypt mining) was to resist GPUs.

It was three million Swedish krona, not US Dollars.

Point taken however.

So, I'm limited to KNC specific news?
Since KNC has the official news, you must be looking for the unofficial news?
okay....  in case you missed it...

Sam Cole recently revealed in an interview they are cashing in 3 million kronor a day from the boards they taunted us with.

Do you really want to hear more on that?
because that's really all there is.

This is the KNCminer thread can everyone please take their off topic posts to other more suitable threads or start your own thread.  This thread is garbage now and the only KNC talk is by haters who probably don't even have a KNC device or pre-order.
Okay, so we should all stay silent until there's something new in KNC news? ... and let KNC pull more wool over our eyes without any rebuttal or speculation?
Good luck with that.
I got news for ya...   even some of the biggest doomsayers in here STILL have Neptune on order, and have every right to vent in here, and warn others.   Yes...even Edgar     Just sayin'

off topic is off topic tho, and agree.

But if you are referring to the tax issue, it's totally relevant and "on topic" to any miner, or anyone contemplating purchasing one. ANY MINER.

With that said...

I just love how the IRS decides to slap on the BTC taxes in such a big way only two weeks before taxes are due. Most individuals and businesses have long since completed their taxes, and now have to file amendments before the 15th, or face another 10% penalty for filing late! And Miners in USA are especially screwed, enjoying a 25 to 45% income tax on what was mined, which is tallied at the value the day it was mined, which forces a daily cashout, or you incur capitol gains on top of that. You, as a Miner in USA can literally be taxed up to (39top CapGain) +(35% top Income tax) a whopping 74% for mining, and holding (if held less than 1 year)Yes.... Seventy four percent! Feeling abused yet? .. You simply cannot mix income tax with Capitol Gains without losing out bigtime...
Mining needs to be treated exactly the same as CGains only, not income tax, it just is not fair or realistic, and adds a speculation that makes mining too risky in USA imho... period.
Income tax on mining? That's like buying a job at wallmart for 10 grand, and getting taxed triple for doing it.

All I have to say to posts like this is DO NOT PANIC! And most certianly do not let your monkey minds play tricks on you! Unless there is something announced by KNC Miner or a verified rogue employee this is all just hearsay; at the end of day who are you really hurting or disappointing? KNC or yourselves? Certainly not KNC!

"Hold on to your Bitcoins because we expect them to go fast
we plan on cashing in daily with those cards and want the price to stay high."

Couldn't you have just sold Jupiters until the Neptunes were ready?
You were doing great, and had respect.

I'm wondering what wonderful announcement could fix this now?
answer: none
Best case, Neptune is over spec and close.....
but what about all the hashpower at Boden?
Think they will ever share that or make up for the deceptive move?... No way.

*Free for CA Batch customers...until Neptune is shipped....
*Boden is ready, and online, sign in and start mining with 4 Th/s
Neptune is 6Th/s and a month away...

Booyeah, back in good graces.

I E-mailed the author to find out... will let y'all know
Kronor or USD

But I'm still thinking it may be USD...
Isn't that the preferred denomination when purchasing Products through bank transfer at KNC?
...and I'm not sure there is an exchange that has enough trade volume in kronor to handle that.... or any exchange that handles kronor... is there?

It's likely they traded btc for usd then usd for kroner (or just held the usd)
Exactly what I was thinking... Sold for USD, then converted at their own bank is the likely possibility.

Here's the post mentioned earlier about an announcement

Finally a tidbit.   Not water-cooled; wow, like they couldn't have told us that a eons ago, and nearly useless information.
Soon?  as in today, this week, or this month?
Seems to me they are much more revealing when talking to press than customers.
Let's get Heraldo on the case.....  hehe
at least it's SOMETHING besides silence.

Better would be having them finish these sentences...
"We expect the chips to arrive within...."
or...   "Last word from the foundry was...."
or...   "Boden will be used to....."
or...   any real, relevant information.

I am not an original KNC customer so I am not in a position to, but I am surprised no one has chased them down with a lawsuit yet given the documented violations of their commitments to their customers, deceptive advertising, other things are fairly straightforward to prove..

I don't buy that BS. What exchange has the volume to do that, and trades in kronor? none.
And no, Kronor doesn't translate to "USdollars", it translates to "crowns." in English, so no.
Go to google and try it  yourself.

i'm sure you are right im not looking too far into it
Nope... YOU were right
my bad...
the original article has kroner in parenthesis

Has there been a single successful BTC mining company that hasn't completely succumbed to Greed?

Not to defend KNC miner, but I mean damn. The mining scene is disgraceful. BFL was a scam since the start and is run like a ponzi, delivering just enough hardware to stay afloat. Avalon shipped their batch 1 miners on time and then fucked over everyone else on purpose to keep difficulty low. Countless other companies have taken preorders and then failed to deliver. And now KNC is fucking over all their customers also.

This is why I would personally only buy miners that ship at time of purchase... not a single company out there is honest enough for preorders it seems. Either they mine with your gear for 2 months before shipping, or they never produce anything at all, or by the time they do actually produce it's no longer profitable.

Yeah, they read in here that we found out they are making 3 mil a day off our boards, and are preparing an announcement.
There's not much they can say to change the situation.
This will be interesting to hear after a month of silence on Neptune, and reading that interview yesterday.

3million kronor mate - ~$500k
it was pointed out above somewhere.
How's that? They specifically said USDollars in the interview....

no, it was pointed out google translated it to dollars. i didn't bother checking the swedish text...
but anyway, who cares, they are mining the arse off us all.

someone in here says its kronor, and that's it?  No, I'll believe the interview unless there is something else as proof of that. , thanks
As if the exchanges deal in kronor, lol.  That's really left-field.
