are they late?

like women's issues 'late' or just your normal average bitcoin mining rig 'late'?
it's difficult to ascertain which is which, these days.

No, they're alleged knockoff A1 chips.  You really are out of touch with what's going on outside of this thread, aren't you.
can you show me that please? The bitmine site says "Based on the old Avalon chips"

Pardon?   http://bitmine.ch/?page_id=863

Okay, now look back at the product page description....
coincraft desk, which is the ones being delivered soon supposedly....

I'm not even seeing where they are selling the 28nm yet when it says "Mass production available starting from the second week of December 2013"
so, are they late? First time I saw this. Seems like they wanted to play 28nm, but came late to the game to me. Where is the 28nm offering from them?
what product of 28nm are they selling? I don't even see one that comes close to Neptune here, sorry I must be blind.

I certainly could be "Out of touch" with what's going on out there, and wanted to be educated... I'm looking, but not seeing.

COMING SOON* TO A CINEMA NEAR YOU!

*In Q2/Q3/Q4. All cinema tickets must be pre-ordered 6 months in advance

OMG! That's so funny , I love it Grin

What's really sad is KNC attitude from the get go is to cater to folks willing to fork 10k+ for hardware as if it spare pocket change! Poor thing don't have time/ resources to offer anything  to small time miners like gridseed and bitmain do. KNC is way biger than that Wink

CryptoTalk.Org - Get Paid for every Post!
"Due to the relatively young nature of the scrypt mining market we are not currently offering refunds on our scrypt mining products. "

Thats what i got from KNC when i inquired about the Titan.

Does anybody here wants my 1st public batch Neptune? If you are serious, PM me an offer in BTC (preferable) at Bitstamp price or bank transfer. I don't have to sell, so don't come up with lowball offers, please. I am in US, and will still keep my second Neptune order for now.

Not what by I'm reading on their site bud....

seems a bit further off than was indicated.
but I know what you are saying, sure.
I just don't see the "better deal" anywhere, or even close options besides antminers at a huge loss in power consumption and space

Slow down, he doesn't mean the Coincraft machines from bitmine.ch he means the Chinese rigs made with the Coincraft A1 chips that are the same as the ones that bitmine can't seem to make into actual machines yet.

allrighty, can you shoot a link so I may examine?
BTW.... They are Avalon Chips still, and their track record speaks loudly.

There are more manufacturers out there, perhaps you should drop this whole 'KnC's the only one for me' attitude and take a gander around the custom hardware forum.

Bitmain (1TH) S2 units shipping within the month @ 1W/GH, $3,500
Avalon Gen3 (1TH) units shipping within the month @ <1W/GH, ~$3,800
Chinese A1 Knockoff (1TH) allegedly shipping from stock  <1W/GH, ~$3,000
Spondooliesetech (1.4TH) shipping from stock @ ~1W/TH, ~$5,000

You're sitting here patting yourself on the back for pre-ordering a chip that doesn't exist holding imaginary power specs as your edge above the competition.

FUD? I can order 3 1TH Coincraft miners with a delivery date of March 29th for $11,000 right now, and Knc hasn't shipped a single Neptune or even given buyers any idea of when they will be delivered. I'm amazed that everyone who doesn't have a day one order hasn't cancelled yet, and even day one orders are looking worse and worse by the day.

He's in denial.  The Neptune is quickly becoming (if it wasn't already) a terrible purchase.

Agreed, and I don't even think the power usage numbers on the Neptune will be that great, so that won't even save buyers.

November Jupiters used 1.3W/GH, so a Neptune will probably use ~1W/GH, which has already been matched by many competitors.

In my opinion, it's a huge mistake to be overly loyal to any mining hardware manufacturer in this game. That bias will likely cost you a lot of money.
wow, you'd rather a single terrahash for 5600 dollars, or 2th for 12k, not even knowing if they will deliver?
How many have they delivered so far?
Not my cup of tea
Remember just a few months ago when peeps said the same about Jupiter, and refunded for Hashfast and Cointerra?
Deja-Vu
...and now they are salty.
Same will happen here. Stoked. It's like an instant replay.
Remember when "Jupiters will never make ROI" was the theme?
hahahahaa

Fingers crossed for another 800% increase in BTC price so our Neptunes can possibly ROI.   Roll Eyes

Actually, those units are $3650 per 1TH unit, and the group buy organizer has delivered in the past and does accept escrow. I was simply pointing out that there are options available now that offer similar price and performance as the Neptune, so the window is closing fast on Neptune profitability.

They need to hurry the fuck up.  We need our Neptunes NOW.  I like the idea of the Titan product but they've screwed it up.  Too expensive, no perks for existing customers, and no refunds, all with their best guess at delivery "Q2/Q3".  Combined with the construction of their bullshit mining farm which is already starting to kick all of our asses, they've turned into a bunch of real shitbags.
