just them who falicitated this....(hey i could also have made a claim but why rip off the guy twice who got burnt..not to mention the other two folks who got refunds as well that i know of besides phoenix)

well i have one from a week ago on the 2nd batch ..that says in processing

am considering getting rid of my 1st batch customer order (last one left) the 10.2k usd version
but am holding on for a bit in case KNC does something like double the hash or some other silliness (forlorn hope)

be my luck dump it and they say you can get your virtual 4th to hash by april 1st and your physical one in may
or something like that (my luck ya know)

but it is likely i will dump the 1st one too as things are going (probably should already have done so as btc seems
to be climbing)

anyway as long as i can refund ...i can gripe...but being a bfl refugee from last april (still no product damn monarhs)

at least i can grumble abouut KNC like i grumble about any vendor that does not deliver in time..ie get my refund

If they never planned 20nm, then it is all a ruse and false advertising. You cannot get away with this...EVER, therefore, I doubt that it was the intention.
I think foundries are late with 20nm, that's all. However, we will NOT have a Neptune-I agree on this. That said, KnC modus operandi is dodgy.

Why are people so delusional?  We will never hold a Neptune in our own hands.  A cloudhashing option will be our only choice other than a refund.

And I highly doubt that KNC ever planned to develop a 20nm ASIC.  They are building and stocking their datacenter with the old 28nm tech.   So why would they ever build 20nm miners when their datacenter is filled with 28nm miners that will do the job just fine... and without the many millions of development cost.

Augusto got over it...so shouldn't we all, and chalk it up to a lesson learned by all parties??

phoenix, scammed or scammer....you did put out a reward, which I personally (just my worthless opinion) thought was that it was stupid to have put such a high reward, something like 3/4 of what you say was scammed....
1. he did it out of desperation
   Which I think is what happened, and Augusto I think accepts that

2. he never thought he would recover his btc and threw out that crazy reward amount

Now, I grew up in the hood, and I deal with hood types all the time.....and no way is anyone ever going to return something unless they truly believe that they have been caught or will be caught because they didn't cover their tracks well enough......which to me tells me these perp/perps. were either outed by augusto/avenger or these perps somehow turned NICE and returned the scammed btc....

well the moral once and forever is trust no one, even when they have been trusted before....

Avenger, can you let it go for the sake of the thread.....and I say you should at least take what phoenix offered for the benefit of the charity, since you did say it would go to charity....whatever phoenix feels is merited is better than zero for that charity

I to have plans to install a couple of new circuits just for neptunes because I'm already pushing the limits of my circuits with the jupiters I have.

I will make KNC pay for them if this turns out to be cloud hashing.

Yes seriously what the fuck why can't we get a straight answer!    Making provisions for new 30 amp circuits, distribution, racks, and they won't even ship our hardware?  WHY are they doing this we trusted them and they are killing us!
