Can kncminer-0.99.2-tune.bin solve dead Die problem for Nov. miners or it is just for Oct. miners?
It seems kncminer-0.99.2-E.bin does not improve so much for Nov. miners!

It seems that if you read the changelog and apply some thinking you will answer your question.

Diff will be somewhere between 1.75B & 1.8B.

Man Bitcoin mining is just not good for your health.  These ASIC companies have probably chopped a few years from my life, at least.  2013 was the year I developed gray hairs like crazy.  Every time I come to these boards I think about past personal mistakes and get incredibly frustrated.  Life is much more enjoyable away from here.  Getting away really helps you appreciate what you have a lot more and helps to stop worrying.

take a break and go trade on btc-e !   Grin

I have a haunce that KNC are waiting for HF and/or CT to starting shipping en masse to drop some more Neptune news.  Also as I've said before I don't think they'll offer any more Jupiter's until some rock solid positive Neptune news.

I disagree, and since none of us can (or could) see the future either way, it's really not relevant. If btc had stayed at $100, MANY less people would be mining, difficulty would not be anywhere near where it is today, and your machine would have easily produced those bitcoins. It is all connected.

You are right, it comes down to making a gamble, some of us won, some of us lost. And as Matthewh3 noted, the HF gamble went bad for everyone involved. I just want to inject a bit of reality into this thread where people are screaming EVERYONE made out by buying their October batch. Note that I am happy with the hardware, I think it's a fantastic piece of art.

In any case, I will run the unit into the ground trying to recoup my investment, I should be able to get close in the next 6 months.

I actually passed on the Neptune, with no set delivery date, many other manufacturers shipping soon, and the mysterious unknown miner adding hashing power every day, I felt uncomfortable making another gamble.

He is bitter because he can't afford KnC gear, although he claimed to have KnC gear and yet he is dissapointed in it and said it will not ROI.
Why all of the other KnC customers can ROI and he is the only one that can't.
Something fishy about this, I bet he is still mining with GPU and don't want people to add hashrate to the network.
Well in that case I have to dissapoint you, I will add a shitload off hashrate to the network.
If I don't do that another will.

I received my October unit on Oct 28th, have been mining constantly, and I am still down 20 BTC from what I paid in BTC for it.

Let me put it in a different way that will make more sense.

If BTC had stayed around $100, only those that received their shipments early October would have made their $ back. People who paid in $ just got lucky with BTC climbing.

If you bought BTC at the time in stead of purchasing your miner with $, you would have had more BTC and $ equivalent Today, especially for those getting delivered past Oct 15th.

You should make at least another BTC5.00 over the next six weeks.  Imagine if you went with HF October deliveries instead.  Also you was offered a discount and first dibs on Neptunes.  Although one of our miners was delivered in the same date range as you.  So we're in the same boat as you with that miner.

So on the October tuning front, would anyone mind sharing their tweaked voltage numbers?  I've still left mine at default.

No 0.99.2-E-tune?

No built-in bertmod?

No unified release to support both module types, and mixed module types in the same system?

No OC in the web UI?

No licorice dispenser?

I think knc has added a few years to mine, but I didn't make big losses with the other companies.

look for the master zip file link at the side

I keep getting an, "Error: blob is too big" when I try to dl the raw Oct bin. Anyone else get this?

Thanks that, worked, any idea why grabbing the raw didn't work for these files? Just curious because usually I can just grab the raw version. Thanks for the help.

knc must sell again jupiter because

Next difficulty retarget occurs at block 280223.0 (eta 1.3 days): 2068618701.42 / +45.8% [est.]

That is not even close.  The increase will be ~25% not 45.8%.

Yes I agree it'll be >25% to <30%.
