Does anyone know if there is a proper method to turn off the KNC Jupiter? I see in the manual that theres a way to hard reset the machine with the button in the back, but that just resets it back to factory settings right? Can i just turn off my power supply to shut down the unit?

yes, by the psu switch...reset is indeed a factory reflash....

Goto ghash.io, because the reaction from changing to submitting you diff takes a long time, also on ghash.io
you can choose what you want. In steps of 32.
I figured out that when i choose 1024 or 768 or 2048 or 512 or 368 it doesn´t matter, there are only some small differences.
Also i tried 8192 (maximum) it also worked.
Changing the diff on ghash.io is so smooth, that when an 10 min time window it over an you change the diff it will effect near
the same moment!

I only mine at BTC guild. I swithced to 512 min difficulty. I think my jupiters are getting warmed up still. Their speed has been increasing. I am seeing one at 666 and the other at 675 now.
