The pandemic has inspired me with a new Blockchain idea and I'm playing around with some numbers for fun. I've been trying to calculate the value of one orgasm.

And contribute one orgasm per day.

7,000000 people sell 365 orgasms per year for $10 each.

This give a total rough $26 Billion a year. Which seems like big money.

If Sigmund Freud was right and the main impulse and motivation for all human activity at least in the male brain is sex and the desire to procreate. Then the world wide market cap is in the many trillions.

There are so much big money for adult content around the world, but why the price of sexcoin are very cheap and the volatility are very low in the market. Hopefully dev and the team can speed up the progrress of sexcoin usage as a payment system for adult content, according to the roadmap. Surely it will increase the price of sexcoin in the market.

Hey guys, I'm new here. I was on the Discord recently, asking some questions and wanted to drop in and see if I could have a broader discussion here about the state of the coin and see if there's some interest in bringing this up for a solid second coming.

I have previous experience in the adult industry, albeit in the late 90s as things were taking off... but also have loads of business experience, having been at the helm of many companies, and currently working in a very public and active industry. I've got some ideas, and would be willing to put in some time on this, but I need to get a lay of the land and understand where we're at as a whole. I'm willing to invest time, energy, elbow grease, mining power, datacenter hosting, and my own cash (under the right circumstances).

I mined this coin some in 2018. I was dipping my toes into the Altcoin world, mostly to educate myself on the vast pool of different blockchains and to understand how all the various wallets and coins worked. A group of three friends and I ran decent sized (+/- 750TH)  mining operation from late 2017 through late 2018. Now, I maintain a very small Altcoin mining farm and recently purchased the Lucky Altcoin mining pool.

Few thoughts/questions:

1) My Mac wallet (recently upgraded to 0.15.2.1) has 0 connections, so it never updates the blockchain. It's frozen in time to March 2018. Is there a newer version of the wallet available? What needs to be done to correct this? Are there nodes I can add?

2) Who's ultimately in charge of this project? I'd like to schedule a conversation and talk some serious shop.

3) What's everyone else's thoughts about working towards a "comeback" here?

4) What are other needs? I see some hosting bills on the Faucet and Explorer. What else is needed? Anyone hosting a node anywhere? What can be done to breathe some immediate life and stability to this blockchain? How do we get a few more (reliable / constant) connections up?

Domain name: $17 or so a year, with privacy.
Hosting: I have unlimited, so not a factor really. Any basic LAMP would do it.
Time: The system is mostly automated, cron php job rolls over the DB at midnight and builds the payout list after roll over. The payout csv is processed by a python script after I glance over the entries, making sure no one figured out a new way to double-dip, and then fire the script. 5 or 10 mins a day, sometime during the day.

Free-SX.Com is set to expire later this month. I've run the faucet for over 5 years now, if memory serves.

I can keep it running or let it go. I know it's a service to the community and several links for others would become broke.

I think this coin is really lagging behind.

The idea of merge-mine with BTC to secure the network was good, but then no support on exchanges, no market makers, no liquidity.

The main problem for sex workers is to cash out. There are tons of websites with issues in that matter.

If SXC can fill that gap, get some partnerships and provide models/producers easy SXC to stablecoins/fiat it could be a success.

Maybe a tube site where models/producers can upload and sell their content, if it's too much of a hassle,  try to get partnered with an existing one.

There are newer currencies that seems to be targeting this already such as XVG and SPANK.
