Hong Kong is a very weak team. They had no chance to win this match. Seems like you don't have much knowledge about cricket teams. You wouldn't say that if you had idea about the capability of Pakistan and Hong Kong players. Pakistan has won the match by 155 runs. Hong Kong got all out in just 38 runs. Perhaps, India and Pakistan will enter in the final from the super 4 round.

beating Pakistan is not any easy task for a new team like Hongkong.
But having said that..
I think they did play well - but they have take care of their bowling and batting - Hongkong bowlers gave so many wides and no balls. I think they were nervous in front of Pakistani team

Do you think Hong Kong will win by batting at a target of 194 runs? This is ridiculous. Pakistan's bowlers are experienced. I doubt whether Hong Kong can score even 140 runs batting against such a bowling line-up. Hong Kong batsmen are not experienced enough. Pakistan batted well and managed to give big targets. I think they can easily win this match.

I do not think Pakistan is such a worst team that they will loke against Hongkong. They have a tendency to be inconsistent but they generally play well in big tournaments. If it was Hongkong against Bangladesh then I would given the same statement as yours. They might not have Shaheen Afridi but they still have others who gave tough time to Indian batters.

I am not saying that Hong Kong has a 50% or even 25% chance of defeating Pakistan. But looking at their performance against India, they doesn't seem like a very weak team. All I am saying is that Pakistan needs to be careful. If they get complacent, then Hong Kong may use this opportunity to get an upset win against them. And as I mentioned, they have already proved that they are capable of upsets. And that was back in 2014 against Bangladesh. Anyway, less than 2 hours to go for the match. Let's see how it turns out.

I do understand that Pakistan should be careful and not take Hongkong as a weak side. But, they (HK) are not more capable than Afghanistan in this tournament. They are a hired bunch and not natives representing or playing for their land. A lot of them are either Pak/Ind origin but their proffesional approach is commendable. We did viewed it when they played against India. Just imagine if Hongkong would offer them extra money today just to destroy the morale of Pakistan. Still I believe Pakistan is in a good position against Hongkong.

By the way most HK players have a day job. They only play because they love cricket.
