Indian bowlers need to be strong to restrict the openers Babar Azam and Rizwan, if not this is going to be hard for India. Bhuvanesh Kumar is in with the pace attack as Bumrah is out on injury. Right now the winning probability is high on India, and this changes according to the match situation.

Actually the problem with Afghanistan is their batting only, only one department that they have is actually good which is the spin department, rest even their pace, even their batting is bad, they lost against Ierland only because pitches lacked spin and their bowlers couldn't do that well. Today also if you see they won because their bowlers took early wickets and spinners built that pressure on Sri Lanka, making 100 runs in 20 overs is an easy task for any team, especially after the result it's almost sure, they will go into the super 4 atleast, and if they have beaten Sri Lanka this easily I won't be too surprised if Bangladesh also lose against them.

Yeah, its more like the Srilanlan squad just disappointing everyone with their performance. In any case, Bangladesh has a very good chance of making it to the next round because SL's NRR is absolutely horrible now.

Srilanka performance was disappointing today. No one was expecting such batting performance from srilanka againest Afghanistan. Thanks to Bhanuka Rajapaksa 38 and Chamika Karunaratne 31, srilanka were able to cross 100 runs. With this win Afghanistan proved that they are one of strong contender for this cup.

Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. It would be great if Sri Lanka won today, but I think Afghanistan is the best opponent. After struggling in their own ways, both teams have achieved wonderful things recently. Best wishes to Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. I agree with you that results sometimes are opposite of what odds are saying but still gambling houses look at a lot of parameters before they give such odds. They never give big odds to a favorite team as they are also here to make money when people loses the bet.
Anyways the match will begin in about 2 hours and in about 6 hours we will see who will win the match

IMO, it is unfair to them, as they receive only around $200K to $400K per year from the ICC. For comparison, Zimbabwe receive around $12 million every year. I want something like this:

25% of the funds to BCCI
25% of the funds to the other top-5 test teams
25% of the funds to remaining test nations
25% of the funds to associate nations

I've said earlier that I have virtually no problem if ICC equally distributes every penny to each nation but for this, they should've multiple team tournaments, not just 10-12 teams.

Idk what is current share of BCCI but if I remember correctly it was around 28% after the BIG-3 project faced opposition so not sure if more cuts in revenue going to sit well with the BCCI.

Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan, 1st Match Asia Cup Cricket is going to start after some time. Both teams are good but I am supporting for Sri Lanka as they are back to play these days.
