Lack of quality domestic setup, not nurturing the young blood or Politics, we can call it whatever but main point is Bangbros let down their fan base all around the world. I used to admire Bangladeshi team a lot due to their fighting spirit on the ground, in the past they managed to produce some fine upset and used to give tough fight to Indians and other big teams. They were always underdog but you can't consider yourself underdog even after 2 decade. You need to up your level at some stage, considering team like Afghanistan knocking the doors in LOI.

Bangladesh is playing international cricket for 3 to 4 decades and they are test playing country for almost 2 decades but still they are not a recognized team mostly they are at level of an associate team. I dont think BCB is the only problem, Bangladesh doesnt have the talent that can play good cricket at international level. Is there any single player that can be seen as threat to big teams?
It is not that there are no talented players in Bangladesh team. They have a lot of talented players. The problem in Bangladesh is that the board is not caring or responsible towards the players. Players cannot play well if they are talented. He has to be experienced. They need to know how to perform on which type of pitch. And it is the responsibility of the management and the coach to make the players experienced. Bangladesh's management and coaches are neither good. Despite having a lot of money, they are reluctant to hire experienced coaches. As a result, the team is not improving.
There are obviously a lot of talented players in Bangladesh who can be great players one day if nurtured well. But, no one seems to want to do the nurturing job.
The actual true story in Bangladesh domestic cricket is that before the match starts the umpire says to one team, ""Today we have an assignment. Our decision will be unfair for you.""
And after that how many players do you think are going to try to win the match, or even have the mentality to even try? Would you like to go on and play a match knowing that it doesn't matter what you do, you are going to lose today?
Bangladesh cricket team have so much talented player.But they unfortunately don't well in T-20 Format.They are all-time facing batting problem. They batter don't big score in T-20 game but Bangladeshi bowler very well in T-20 game.I think they Don't play in international Level. They need to more development management, coach and cricketer.

This is completely no sense they have no talent they can encourage youths and this can do some good for their future hunt program but this all need some good dedication and spirit which is not available which is the biggest issue in Bangladesh cricket mostly peoples are sitting on political basis, and they have no involvement which must for having better results and quality performance.If someone able to do good things then surely he can start this all from grassroots and then this can change into good divisional or city basis with this all require some good funds and hard work which is not having in current system even with introduction of BPL they have some good funds but fail to use them into good way.

I think it would be wrong to say that Bangladesh has not enough experienced players, in the three formats of cricket they have a few players those who have been playing cricket for 10-15 years and have played a lot of matches but now they are not able to run regularly and some of player's they are not in the test format. Well.. that is debatable. Cricket needs to expand, since it is only played in a handful of countries. New additions to test nations are needed. And Bangladesh suits the perspective, since they are a country of 180 million people, with cricket being the most popular sport. But the quality hasn't improved ever since they were provided with the test status. I have said this before, and would repeat now. We need to have two divisions in test cricket. Else we'll get a great number of one-sided and meaningless matches. T20 will be more competitive and in this format, we can have dozens of nations playing against each other.

Not only basis of population we can add nations to test format. As per my understanding no developed country consider cricket as a valid game, this is inevitable from absence of big powers like China, Russia and USA from cricket. Bangladesh does have a their own T20 franchise league and it will help in developing new players just like the IPL and many countries are starting their version of T20 franchise league and it will help in identifying new talents.But, it's not giving any advantage to test matches and domestic structure for all formats which is also big concern if Bangladesh or other small boards want to improve their test teams then they need to work in long term like have some good investment in local teams for 3 days or 4 days matches which give players some good technique and experience but strong and quality system is very important because without this you can't do anything positive.

Honestly, I have been a person who is really outspoken about the things, which ICC should have done to have more teams playing cricket in the future but ICC does not seem to do anything like that and, obviously, it's not only me who's saying these things.
These things are being said by a lot of people all around the world. Cricket is obviously gaining popularity day by day but it seems like the popularity is limited to certain countries and areas of the world.
But, cricket really should have been a much better and much more popular sport, to be honest. I also don't understand why ICC does not give the t20 much more importance as it seems to be the most popular format of cricket.
You cannot completely neglect Bangladesh in Test cricket in recent years. Right now there is zero T20I going on not even any league is in progress that's why we are having such debates here. If there is some T20 match in progress we see posts on that.
In 21st century I don't think new countries will join test format because of its time consumption. The only way we can add more countries to cricket is by spreading T20I format. Just my few satoshis.
