Ind Vs Ban

Who is going to win, cricket or pollution?
What pollution? I am sure I am missing some hidden joke :-P
By the way, no doubt India is going to dominate the match and will win however losing Rohit will slow down the innings a bit I think. Why Kohli is no playing?

Aaron Finch not happy with 20-minute innings break in rain-hit game

Poor Finch  Grin

When any batsman hitting the ball in every possible direction and rain playing its part as party popper, then every rule looks shitty  Grin. having said that ICC need some serious update in their so called rule-book.

Ind Vs Ban

Who is going to win, cricket or pollution?

Pollution of course!!
Talking about the Match I am sure India will win over Bangladesh. Indian batting line up is very strong as compared to Bangladesh and then there is factor of playing in your home ground.

Silently the qualifier for the world T20 scheduled for 2020 have come to an end. Netherlands have recorded the win in the final beating Papua New Guinea. First round groupings were made with With these results, the first round groupings for world cup T20 now confirmed. Papua New Guinea, Ireland, Oman and Sri Lanka in Group A and Group B will have Netherlands, Namibia, Scotland joining Bangladesh.

Two teams from each group will advance to the Super-12 and it is very important because these teams will get direct qualification for the 2021 T20 World Cup (which will be played in India). I would not be unrealistic in my predictions, but with the way some of the associate sides are playing right now, there is a very good chance that at least one of the test sides (Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Ireland) will miss the super-12.

The Group A is still a bit easier. Sri Lanka and Ireland are likely to progress to Super-12, as the other two are not strong sides (Papua New Guinea and Oman). But it is going to be tough in Group B. Along with Bangladesh, the best associate side is placed in that group (Netherlands). The other two are also very good teams (Namibia and Scotland).

Was waiting to see the T20 between Aus and Pak but it already got called off. Pak anyways had no chance of winning with just 107 score but Australia lost a chance of winning this T20. Wanted to see how Warner would perform this time.
Warner would have smashed them too, Finch was attacking from the start knowing that rain could stop the play and rain came down once again to help Pakistan  Grin.

Excited to watch India play after such a long time. Rohit will be a good captain so Kohli's absence wouldn't be much of a problem as even Bangladesh are playing without Shakib. Hope to see another MI win now.
So India is resting their main players in this series and with a weak team like Bangladesh i am expecting an easy win over them, India is having some injury concerns too, Rohit was hit by a ball while training but looks like he will be playing in this match.

I also was eager to watch the full match but rain spoiled the fun. Australian batsman were having quite a fun scoring fours and six off the Pakistan's bowlers (to be precise was Finch only). Warner and Finch are the best opening lineup when it comes to T-20 and ODI.

It's an easy with the side without their ace player Shakib. I feel like India should pickup rather more competitive and at same level side like Aus, NZ or England maybe.

Have Fun )@@( Stay Safe
Aaron Finch is frustrated on this result and he should be. Pakistan can't lose so easily.  Cheesy
A couple of overs and they could have had a result and hence the frustration is understood as there was a 20 minute innings break which should be avoided if weather is controlling the game, Pakistan would have lost the match as they lost the momentum when rain interrupted and Finch was in high gears knowing the situation and Mohammad Irfan is back in the team and was smashed all over the park by Finch Grin .

No, your calculation is right expect for the fact that there needs to be 5 overs minimum to be ball and luckily Australia could not bat the 5 overs.

Lol. Pakistan escaped a loss and you know it. As I mentioned earlier, Australia are in rampage mode at the moment and I don't think Pakistan stands any chance now that Finch is back in form(Along with Warner and Smith).

Apart from Azam, no one really impressed me much in the Pak batting lineup. Rain continues to play spoilsport this year. Lets see how Pakistan will fare in the upcoming matches.

Sp, if I put min_over 5 overs, the calculation will be correct? If the value of min_over is lower than 5, an error message will be shown. That's pretty easy. I will create one soon.

Do not under estimate Pakistan because rain has started again for our rescue  Smiley
According to DuckWorth Lewis method, if rain doesn't stop, Australia will win the match by 29 runs. If Pakistan had taken 4 wickets, Pakistan would win the match. I don't know if there is any other calculation, I have tried this calculator- http://wicklowcountycricket.com/duckworth-lewis-calculator/

The game has been called off. Pakistan escapes with a no result, in a match they could have lost. The Australians will be frustrated, and they will be angry as well as there was a 20 minute break in between the two innings. If that break was shortened, then we might have got a result today. But they have a lot of positives to take away from today's match.

On the other hand, Pakistan would be concerned about the form of their pace bowlers. Mohammad Irfan conceded 31 runs from his two overs, after starting quite well. Aaron Finch smashed him all around the ground during his second over, which went for 26 runs. Anyway, all the best for the two teams for the second match (which will take place at the Manuka Oval in Canberra).

The second innings need to last for a minimum of 5 overs to give a result (from Duckworth-Lewis).
I'm not really aware of this rule, is there any calculator for this? I could combine both the formula into one and could share a free calculator for my cricket buddies here.

I wish the rain does not stop now so that we cannot lose the first T20 or even it it stop, the target becomes more stiffer for Australia.

The second innings need to last for a minimum of 5 overs to give a result (from Duckworth-Lewis). If it is less than 5 overs, then the match will end as inconclusive. As of now Australia are 41/0 after 3.1 overs (i.e 11 balls short of the threshold). Also, the time is running out. Play needs to be resumed in about 30 minutes from now. If it is not possible, then this match will end up as no result.

If the play does start, Australia only be needing 33 runs in 5 overs without the loss of any wicket. Australia are already over the line and they just need to bat out less than 2 overs to be winners for this match.

I doubt Pakistan has any chance here, the target is pretty low and Australia will have no hard time to chase this. They need 92 run from 75 balls, Finch is on fire.

I am not sure if this rain and the reduced overs will favor Pakistan or Australia. At the moment 119 runs target in 15 overs look very achievable for Australia.  Pakistani chances are only dependent on how good they bowl and field to defend this score.
The interruption in a match will have an impact on the match, if Pakistan knew that the match will be played only 15 overs they would have scored at a far better run rate and this is not a fair way for a team. Australia could win the match easily and it all depends upon how Pakistan bowlers could put pressure on the Australian top order but the way in which Aron Finch is batting they will reach the target easily.

What do you guys think?
It's pretty easy calculation. Although India is playing with a lot new players, they still have the strong batting line up and they can beat Bangladesh easily. Bangladesh will play with no #SHAKIB, I will be missing him. He is the only player in Bangladesh who could have a good standing against India.

We got another match today Men vs Wild/Air Pollution  Grin India vs Bangladesh.
Air pollution is the party popper. BCCI should not organise any match in Delhi during Winter, Period.
