The bowlers bowled brilliantly, but the batsmen played some Cricket. I still feel we could witness a whitewash here. The batsmen need to step up their game.
I don't think WI will be whitewashed. They will at least win 1 t20 match. Their batsman are not consistent. They can wash a team anytime.
In ODI, they will not win a single match I think.

Lets see which match West Indies will be able to win in this series. I don't think they have any chance of winning today match also because india has made 60+ runs in 7 overs without a loss of any wicket. Today India will give a big score for WI batsmen to chase.

Espn commentators agree with me on Rahul who is much better than Dhawan. BTW, WI brought in Khary Pierre. How is he as a bowler? Also, leaving out Bravo who is the best in T20s is a foolish decision. Gayle is atleast in ODIs but why no Bravo?

Match stats: WI lost their only review lol
From here if two wickets don't fall before the 10th over, 150-160 is a good score and anything above is a sure win if the wicket is same like yesterday.

Dhawan gone. Now Virat comes in. As of now 180 looks like the target.

61 for none within 6.5 overs. I think today match will be interested. India will have a big score, so does West Indies. Rohit seems too much confident today. This will amazed USA people much.

I would be looking to them to score 180+ runs. Hope they do not struggle like yesterday. WI has attacking batsman so low scoring target will be very risky for India.

Edit: Looks like India is heading to a big score. 52 runs without losing any wicket after the first power play.

Today India elected to bat as they got to know they can't chase. Kohli is himself not sure after yesterday's horrible performance. lol

7 for 0 now but no change in the team. Atleast they should have changed Pandey with Rahul who is better in form. Pandya too was not chosen in the team for unknown reasons.

A T20 match could be easily influenced by a single player and though west indies lacks a good team, it has some extraordinary players specially with the bat. This way, they may single handedly turn the game into their favor. But with the current form, it would be really difficult for them to beat the indian team.

His career is all but finished now. He picked up a serious back injury almost two years back and has been out of action ever since. Even if he returns at some point in the future, I don't think he'll be able to bowl at the same pace. The last time I heard, he has injuries to his ankle and heel as well, in addition to his lower back injury.
He is just 19 years old and BCCI is taking good care about his treatment and medical expenses and he might not bowl at the same pace but that can be said only after he starts playing again, hope you remember Shane Bond and he was one of the most talented bowlers who could bowl at 150 KMPH consistently and he was also hampered by injury throughout his career but he never reduced his pace till the date he retired from cricket  Wink.

Pace bowlers have always faced this problem. Injury is something they always face. Only some bowlers have played consistently. Since he has faced injury already, likely to be shorten his career. I wish India could produce such a speedy bowler.
Mustafiz was a great bowler when he came. But later, after a surgery, he is not anymore able to deliver the same.
There were plenty of tear away fast bowlers who showed promise when they started playing and injuries cut short their career and the only fast bowler i know who never missed a match due to injury was Kapil Dev, rest of the bowlers had some sort of injury at one point of their career.

I am specifically disappointed with Pant who keeps getting out early.

He has been like that for quite sometime now. But selectors continues to trust him for the match. Pant really needs to up his game and make his shot selection better if he is targetting for a place in team. There are lot of players to replace him and I hope Pant feels this out and plays a game which clears the doubt he had created so far with his poor performance.

As expected, India pulled off an easy win against West Indies though the situation could have been different if Russell was part of their team. I am specifically disappointed with Pant who keeps getting out early.

The bowlers bowled brilliantly, but the batsmen played some bad shots. I still feel we could witness a whitewash here. The batsmen need to step up their game.

Indians do have a habit of messing up with small targets. Krunal Pandya just got out. India at 88/6 and still needs another eight runs to win. When they restricted Windies to less than a hundred, I thought that they'll chase the target with 10 overs to spare. I wonder what would have happened had WI scored another 20 runs to their total.

This was a small score and Indian bowlers did well to restrain them under 100 but batsman really struggled to make a good impact on this match. Though they won the match but it was not much convincing which other wise they would have loved to start their series with the big win.

I am hearing Kamlesh Nagarkoti name for the first time. Did he ever played the international cricket or represent india in any format of the cricket ?
To be able to bowl at 150 KMPH is a great achievement but i do not think ICC has any record of him ?
Played for Indian U19 team and bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for 3.2 CRORE. Once rejected on Rajasthan u14 team trial but later came back and played for those local team.

Yeah... I remember this kid. He was quite a sensation during the 2018 U-19 world cup. His raw pace earned a lot of attention during that tournament, and he formed a lethal pace duo in combination with Shivam Mavi. From what I have heard, he comes from a place called Barmer, a desert oasis town near the Pakistan border. I don't think that anyone from that part of India has represented the nation before.

He was given a contract from the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2018, but never played any matches for them due to injury. The KKR finally dropped him in 2019, and replaced him with Sandeep Warrier. Feels sad for him. He was such a promising young player and was given a good opportunity to play along with the big names of cricket. But as the saying goes... man proposes but god disposes.

For all the cricket lovers here watch out for Kamlesh Nagarkoti bowling in youtube i am sure everyone will be impressed by his bowling action and pace, he is the future prospect for India. If you can clock 150 KMPH consistently at 18 years and if he can avoid injuries he will be the fastest bowler India will produce in world cricket.

Yap, that's the whole idea but seems like WI is not gonna make it entertaining. If the American do not see fours and sixes then they will think it's a boring sport :-P
Come on WI!
It will be fun to see if India reach the targer (whatever it is) in less than 10 overs :-P
If that was the case then people here will see that as a boring encounter, people love Baseball here in the US and cricket is actually more interesting than the one dimensional Baseball  Cheesy, sorry to hurt all the Baseball fans but that is the fact, if a cricketer gets a full toss all the time, majority of the time he will smash the ball outside the ground, even Indian batsmen struggled in this pitch, if the idea is to have entertainment matches, they better come up with flat pitches to entertain the crowd .

This is a one-sided match between WI & India. WI all out for just 95 runs. I didn’t expect this poor performance from WI at the moment. Only Pollard played some shots and other batsman just walked in & gone. India also struggled a bit to reach the target. It was a very low scoring match and India wins comfortably I would say.
If a team losses 6 wickets chasing a moderate total of 96 runs, i will not call it a one sided match and it was not a comfortable win at all, since both teams struggled to score runs freely it was a wicket that is not good for T20 cricket, glad to see Navdeep Saini in the team and he is a good future prospect and i would like to see Kamlesh Nagarkoti in the national team as i was impressed with him in the under 19 world cup as he was bowling consistently over 150 KMPH, if not for his injuries i am sure he would have being in the team by now.

It was one-sided before India started to bat. Have you seen India has lost 6 wickets. However, although it was certain that India will win, it could be something different as well since India has lost some early wickets.

Indian did win the match but i do not think they will be happy with their performance. 96 runs was low score to chase but they way Indian batsmen chase, it was not convincing at all. With their strong batting lineup they should have chased it with 2 or 3 wickets maximum.
