For those who are interested in associate cricket, the West Africa T20I Trophy is ongoing at Lagos in Nigeria. A total of 4 teams are participating - Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone and Rwanda. A total of 20 matches will be played between 4th October and 15th October, and all the matches will be broadcasted live on Fancode app. At this point, Nigeria is leading with 2 wins from 2 matches, while Ghana is close behind with 2 points. A.Waheed and W.Ul Hassan played very good and show commendable performance in this match. A.Waheed scored 83 runs in 58 balls and close to century but unfortunately after 83 he got out and W.Ul Hassan scored 44 runs in 37 balls and out by Bilal Tahir. Suadia Arabia set good target but if we see Kuwait team batting performance then this target is not enough. Match is going to very tough and both teams have pressure on then and let's see at then end of this match.
The target of 174 runs was not such a weak target but the performance of the Kuwaiti team was very good and they achieved the target easily. Both the openers of Kuwait could not show any performance and both the openers had returned to the pavilion at 10 runs, but the 97 runs made in the partnership of the third wicket played an important role in the victory of Kuwait.
Saudi bowlers were successful in taking wickets, but failed to stop the runs. Due to which the Kuwaiti batsmen continued to score runs easily and did not allow the run rate to increase, because of which, despite the fall of wickets, they reached the target easily, and did not accept pressure at any stage. Tomorrow at 6:30am IST, we will have the first semi-final between India and Bangladesh at the Asian Games Men's Cricket Competition. Amazing come back from WI in 2nd T20I to level the series 1-1. Honestly I was not expecting such performance from WI-Women team since its not easy to beat Australian women's team. Anyway, Malaysia need to learn from these mistakes. They have the added advantage compared to other teams, as the government is quite supportive. Also, as a member of the ACC they are also eligible for additional funds. I hope that the ACC will also take notice of good performance by teams like Nepal and Malaysia. It will be a good idea to expand the Asia Cup competition to 8 teams instead of the current 6. But then, I don't want fake teams like Oman and United Arab Emirates to gain entry at the cost of genuine teams with native players.
It should have been an easy win for Malaysia. They needed just 5 runs from the last over and in form batsmen Virandeep Singh was in strike. He had scored 52 runs from 35 balls till then. But the first three balls went for dots, and Virandeep got out in the 4th ball. Syazrul Idrus and Anwar Rahman only managed 2 runs from the next 2 balls. All he had to do was to take a few 2s and then the match would have been over. But he was under pressure after the Bangladeshi bowler managed three consecutive dot balls. Got out in the 4th ball and the tailend batsmen who came after him didn't had the capability to score the winning runs. A bit more experience would have helped Malaysia at this point. But overall, I am impressed with the progress made by Malaysia over the last few years.

Qatar won toss and choose to batting at first this is not a good decision for Qatar but in favor of SDA team. I appreciate the effort of Qatar team in this match they scored 168 runs target to SDA but this was not sufficient for getting victory. SDA team got a nice victory today and I hope that Saidia team will be definitely qualify for Wold cup because in this series they won all matches from other teams and also they did not lose any match.
