However, Afghanistan team players did enough to win the match due to which they gave much more effort. This match was very important for Afghanistan to win as if they had lost they would have lost the series but now it is tied.

I would say Afghanistan are very lucky to win this match. The team lost four wickets for just 14 runs. Still managed to collect big due to excellent batting by Atal and Nabi. Rashid Khan's innings of 25 off 12 balls was also much needed.

Ireland's top order batted well. Balbirne scored 45 runs, but his batting was very slow. Balbirne collected 45 runs from 44 balls. However, Afghanistan won the match due to Rashid Khan's brilliant bowling. Rashid Khan gave only 14 runs in 4 overs and took 4 important wickets. The series is now tied at 1-1. The last match is expected to be more competitive.

I am actually surprised to see this series with Ireland in Afghanistan. They performed very badly in the batting lineup in the first match as well and as a result they had to lose the first match. I don't see any improvement in their performance in this match either as they lost four of their top order batsmen in four overs. 2 of them have scored golden ducks. Afghanistan could not complete 10 runs with four top order players. Today I feel Afghanistan will not score even 100 runs.
Afghanistan are currently 49 for 4 after seven over 4 balls and their current run rate is 6.39 though Sediqullah Atal and Mohammad Nabi have increased the run rate slightly. Even so, I feel that Afghanistan will not be able to score more than 100 runs today. And I am also guessing that Afghanistan will lose this match

Afghanistan has been able to give a pretty decent target of 153. I do not think it is going to be easy for Ireland to chase that successfully. But Ireland has definitely started very well. Ireland have only played nine overs and they have already scored 71 runs and already they lost 3 wickets. I think Afghanistan could put on a better target if they did not lose so many quick wickets towards the start. At one point they were 14/4. It was a good recovery. But the way Ireland is going about it, I doubt Afghanistan will be able to defend the total successfully. They will have to pick up wickets quickly.

Mohammad Nabi and Sediqullah Atal score 79 runs for the fifth wicket partnership which bring back them into game after having the worst start of their inning while their all top four batsmen gone back with the score of 14 but now again Ireland have comeback into this game with both set batsmen back to pavilion and after 16 overs we have 112 runs on board which are not enough for any challenge against Ireland which is already leading the series after winning their first game.

All Irish bowers are doing good job and not allowing to Afghani batsmen for the aggressive approach with just Mohammad Nabi use his experience and score good runs, no other batsmen have anything good from remaining overs of this match.

2nd T20I is underway between Afghanistan and Ireland. Today Afghanistan decided to bat first after winning the toss. Ireland have picked important wicket of Rahmanullah Gurbaz in second over and after 2 overs Afghanistan have scored 7 runs. DC's curse continues while RCB seems all set to break their curse at last. I expected DC to score 190-200 runs initially, but they got screwed royally by the spinners. Sophie triggered the collapse through 3 wickets in a single over.

Shreyanka was amazing throughout this tournament and in this match too. Crazy roller-coaster basically!

Edit: RCB curse broken at last! They truly deserve the cup after outfoxing MI and DC back to back.
