The batting performance of the Indian team was actually very strong as the Afghanistan team scored 172 runs losing all the wickets. But the Indian team met the target given by Afghanistan by losing only 4 wickets. Shivam Dube joined the team as a new player and has been performing very well for two consecutive matches. He is a youngster in batting form and performed well today against Afghanistan team. If the Afghanistan team wants to win, it must be experienced in terms of both bowling and batting performance.
After the defeat into world cup final now things are looking completely changed into Indian team new generation players are doing very impressive performance and having good depth as well which is helping them for having better results even selectors bring back Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli which is not good decision for me all new players are completely set for having good prospect in future cricket and leading from the front as well.In second match of the series Afghanistan done good score on batting track but still this was not enough as Indian team chased this in just 16 overs we have good all-round performance from Shivam Dube who is going to be new wonder kid for the cricket and India as well.
In this series, India have given opportunities to their young players. In the T20 series against Australia, India also gave opportunities to youngsters. Indian young players are performing well. Rohit has not played well in the last two matches. Even then, India won't have any problem in winning the match. Won very easily. Team India is now not dependent on Rohit and Kohli. The team has a lot of talented batsmen.
As today's pitch was batting friendly, 172 runs was not enough to win against a giant team like India. A target of more than 200 runs might have made the match more competitive. Today's match was completely one-sided. Before 16 overs, India reached the target of victory.
