Kolkata won so I am happy. Because I like this team. Jason Roy, Nitish Rana, Russel and RInku batted well. And I would say Kolkata won because of the responsible batting of these four batsmen. But I thought they would reach the victory target more easily. But Kolkata batted till the last ball to win. But I am annoyed by Venkatesh Iyer's batting. The target was big enough. Just hoping that this guy will not end up as an one-season wonder like Rahul Tewatia. His contribution (21 from 10 balls) was very crucial towards the end for Kolkata Knight Riders. To be fair, they had two more power hitters down the order (Shardul Thakur and Sunil Narine), but Russell and Rinku finished things off, without bothering them. And it was poor captaincy from Shikhar Dhawan at the other end.
