Bangladesh so far 7 scored 71 runs after losing 2 wickets in the over. I think Bangladesh will win if they play like this. Rony Talukder was out for 21 off 14 balls and Liton Das was out for 10 off 14 balls. Nazmul Hossain Shanto is playing superbly so far scoring 35 runs off 17 balls

Is only 156 runs enough to win? The Bangladesh team's batting line-up is not weak. But the batsmen's performance is erratic. Bangladesh team has the ability to beat England team. If the target was more than 175 then I would definitely say that the England team is going to win the match. But in the T20 format, it is not easy to win by giving a target of 157 runs on such a pitch.

At the end of 2 overs, Bangladesh collected 20 runs. Rony Talukder scored 16 runs off just 8 balls. And Liton Das collected 5 runs. If the two openers are able to play well then Bangladesh can win by batting at a target of 157 runs. Because Shanto, Shakib, and Hridoy are all in good form now.

The bowling done by Bangladesh towards the end is really commendable. But such fielding can never be expected from a world class star like Shakib Al Hasan. If he could have taken Buttler's catch in Nasum Ahmed's over, maybe the English batsmen would have been under more pressure. Because no English batsman could match himself like that after Buttler's dismissal. Since there was a possibility of Buttler's dismissal at the beginning of the innings, if Buttler could have been dismissed at that time, England's score might not have gone to 156. However, 156 is not a very difficult target. I hope that if the batsmen of Bangladesh bat responsibly, this match can be won.

England is scoring really good they have score 130 plus runs on 13 overs and only 2 wickets gone . Jos Butler is on 68 runs and is still batting, the run rate is pretty good 8.46 and with this run rate they can give target of 170 runs which is a difficult one for Bangladesh.

The opener Towhid Hridoy is given opportunity whereas the spinner could be added to the upcoming matches. England have begun the batting and are strong after the powerplay without losing any wickets scoring 51 runs. The partnership at the beginning will help in scoring good runs at the end overs. Based on the scoring pattern it looks like 160+ runs will be easily reached as they're trying to maintain the runrate around 9rpo.

So 160 runs we can get fighting score for any team.

Instead of having Decision Review System (DRS) to challenge the wide calls from umpires, why can't the BCCI ask the third umpire to call them? Already the no-balls are being called by the third umpire, and the on-field umpires don't need to worry about bowlers overstepping. This can be extended to wides as well, which will take away a large part of the burden form the on-field umpires. When the technology is available, then it should be used. On the other hand, if DRS is used on such occasions, then it will only result in wastage of time.

I believe DRS for height no balls and wides are fairly practical because there is a minor difference.

There is no room for bowlers to challenge the umpire when their foot crosses the line as during the deliveries they can't see their front foot due to their follow through but for wides or height no ball everybody can see be it the bowler or striker so it does make sense to take DRS if there is reasonable doubt.

Only 3 hours left the T20 match will start. However, England T20 team is very strong and there are definitely doubts about how well Bangladesh team will do against them. Because they can't perform well in T20 as they perform in ODI matches. Bangladesh have just finished their T20 franchise based event BPL so those who have done well will have a chance. With the ODI we can't predict the win of the teams. At any point the match can turn. In most of the matches the scoring used to be at 10 runs per over for the first ten overs with 1/2 wickets fallen. In the next ten overs the team could've lost every wickets scoring 40-50 runs.

The debut players were much expected based on what they've performed in their first class matches and the BPL. However both were completely different atmosphere, guidance from players like Shakib Al Hasan will help them progress and do the best.
