They have players such as Shafali Verma (Birmingham Phoenix/Sydney Sixers) and Richa Ghosh (Hobart Hurricanes), who have represented the senior team as well as franchise league teams. But given the performance so far, I would rate England and Australia as the favorites to lift the trophy this time.

All 4 contenders looking good tbh. IMO NZ and ENG hardly faced any challenges as their group was too easy so it's possible that we might be in for some surprise.

Personally, I believe India will overcome the Kiwi's challenge in the semis and will enter the finals. In finals, it should be a 50-50 chance for the finalists, no matter who is your opponent.

I understand that the Australian women's team is stronger than the Pakistan women's. But, Any team can win the match on their day. It was a day of batters' failure. Only Three Pakistani Batters could score double-figure runs, which was the key point for team Australia. They win the half-match here. The rest of the match wasn't hard for the Australian openers. They won the match with 8 wickets in hand and several overs left.

As usual, the Pakistan Women's team was badly beaten. And I am not at all surprised by this result. The main problem of the Pakistan Women's team is their poor batting. If the batsmen were able to perform well, maybe Pakistan's overall performance would have been more stable. They gave the target only 97 runs. Australia's women's team is very strong. And against them giving such a low score target is impossible to win. Pakistan would have had a chance to win if they could have given a target of 130-140. However, Pakistan Women's team needs to work harder to improve their batting line-up.

The first match between these two teams will be played tomorrow. I am hoping that the T20 series would not be as boring as the ODI series. I never expected the Kiwis to lose all the three matches. I am hoping that they would give some fight and these upcoming matches would be close one. It gets bored when you see your team dominating completely and the other side looking helpless.

On the same track where Pakistan found it really hard to score, Australia was scoring like it was really easy. The player of the match was Megan but I thought Ellyse Perry was supposed to be the player of the match. Probably because it was a 5 wickets performance from Megan.

An easy win for Australia as usual they completed the target very smoothly.
Pakistan women team is not in condition to play international series with this type of performance they are just causing embarrassing situations for them and their country . They are not even playing at average.

West Indies is a very familiar name in T20 cricket. But gradually this country has become quite weak in cricket. The West Indies women's team won the T20 World Cup in 2016 ‍and they have not won since then. In any of the male and female cricket, their position is not in a good stage. Once a time the West Indies player was the best but gradually their cricket was left behind. West Indies need new and good cricketers who can lead the world cricket with their teams again. But gradually their cricket is far behind.

Australian women team recently played big bash league which is an important reason in their good performance, Pakistan team is lagging behind in such leagues . Hopefully in future PCB arranges such leagues for Pakistan to help the team to grow and excel in cricket world.

2nd T20 Pakistan women vs Australian women
Pakistan after batting first mamanged to give a small target of 97 runs 10 wickets lost which Is obviously some poor batting performance by them.
Australia is now batting and they are totally in game as they have already made 24 runs in 4 overs and all wickets in hand .
Without any doubt Australia will win today.

The issues plaguing West Indies men's team seems to be applicable for the women's team as well. They perform well as long as they play franchise T20 cricket. But the moment they start playing internationals, they lose their matches by huge margins. BTW, now the West Indian dominance in franchise leagues is also winding down. At one point, players such as Gayle, Narine, Russell, Pollard, Sammy and Bravo used to dominate the leagues. Among the younger generation, only Pooran and Lewis are performing well.

West Indies' performance in this match surprised me a lot. They lost only 6 wickets. However, I don't see any tendency to score runs in the West Indies players. In the first 6 overs, the West Indies women's team scored only 6 runs. Collecting 6 runs in the first 6 overs of the power play is very poor batting. And I would say that they gave a low score target because of such poor batting at the beginning of the innings. Batting like this, they will not be able to win any match in this series.
