I agree with you that neither team can be underestimated here. As I have said before any type of accident can happen at any time where large team can be in danger. If it is an ODI Cup then we can say with assurance that big team will be the winner. In T-20 matches the results change in an over. Until the 17th over it looks like a win and in the 18th over the lower order bowler smashes some unexpected shots and this ends with a loss. This has happened in T-20 cricket many times.

I do agree that this Australian is not strong as their previous teams but you are going a bit off road. ATM they are the number 1 team in Tests and they also won the last T-20 WC.

Their White ball ranking might look bad on the points table (mainly because they hardly give any importance to white ball bilateral) but they are a big team in white ball cricket when it comes to ICC tournaments.

This specific addition is related to team tactics and game plans and not in favor of batters per se. Teams are allowed to have any batter or bowler from the reserves if the match situation demands.

Cricket always favoured a batter more than a bowler. Now days the emphasis is to find an all rounder talent for the middle order. Most big teams have multiple all rounders in the middle or lower middle order. This occured because T20 demands such player who can both bat and bowl or who can be a wicket keeper as well as a batter. The openers still need to be batters and the rest can be all rounders. The problem is that it is very hard to find such a talent.

Thats obvious when the rules are going to be like that then there will be influence of the Rules on the team to pick as more all in one talent as they can so to be sure they now morefocused on the All rounders but i think that not a good to cricket as if they again remake rules by restriction of Number to be used as All rounder and giving some major eights to the Bowlers the game will be something else

Since T20 is the shortest format of the game, even small teams can have their chances to come and win the games. No team is weak in T20 format and we have witness this in the recent Asia Cup.

There is no doubt that one of the major reasons why Pakistan did not perform well at the Asia Cup was that their star player Babar Azam was not able to perform well in this particular tournament.

Despite this, I am quite amazed that they have not changed their squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup after such a lackluster performance. Evan BCB left out their experienced player Mahmud Ullah Riyad from the squad as he did not perform in recent times. In my opinion, it would have been better if Pakistan had made some small changes to their squad and given some more chances to some of the younger players.

For now the focus is T20 format cricket. Just think of the performance from the past. The legendary players mastered cricket and the name still continues for Australia. This makes Australia to stand high even though they lack performance and there is no big player that can be mentioned as a key player.

The cricket board doesn't take decision as the way we think it. Their decisions are always questionable. Especially, the decision of PCB, BCB and BCCI remains questionable always. Anyway, PCB keep Khushdil and Iftikhar by ignoring their poor performance in Asia cup. BCB has taken Shanto in the squad by ignoring his poor performance in T20 matches.

Agreed about your statement because current Australian side is good at home with few advantages otherwise they can play good against the weakest sides but not good enough for team like India and England which are having good quality on neutral venues even teams like South Africa and Pakistan also beat them in all formats they are going down in quality which is surely a matter of concern for them in last few years with having not good backup and now their system is also going outdated.

They need to work on two teams system which will work better for them one team with having mostly test players and second which give them quality players for ODI and t20 as right now they have enough players in their domestic system which are capable of represent them in all formats without any worry.
