I received pretty good dividends this quarter. Next dividends payout is set for Feb/March right or I am wrong?

Sometime between the 1st and 10th February. Every 3 Months. :-)
February, May, August and November.^^

I am expecting around 0.5-0.7$ per taas this time.Let's see if this comes true.

TAAS FUND is a great fund but am upset at the dumpers lol. If everyone held TAAS TOKEN this would be one of the best erc20 tokens out there for long term growth. Of course now that ETH is mooning it's not easy for everyone to hold their tokens but if they did we would all be mooning everywhere I guess. I may buy more to grow my TAAS fund bag in the near future if prices remain this low still.

Indeed TAAS is one of the best available project with very solid profitable track record but this is very common practice with is happening these days big whales are eating weak hands just make them panic. No doubt in long term this token will get more value while it's doing great job for all investors.

not a bad dividend soon will be good, while using other tactics buying on the drawdown after payment of dividends, sell at the peak before payment...it gives more income than dividends

can we please suggest to the TAAS to respect the duration hold in their dividends?

Holding from last dividend to next dividend = 110% holding from 1st week until dividend 100% .. mid to next dividend 95% and last week 80% so its more likely ppl will hodl taas and not buy before dividend and dump right after.. numbers are ofc just an example ..

What was the price of the token during the ICO?

The price of TaaS during ICO is near about 0.80 used nearly. Two time they paid the dividends with more than 4 millions to the token holders. I think already the price of TaaS reached more than 7$ in the previous dividends.

I don't know guys, maybe we are this stupid to go for the stable dividend payments or others just don't know about TaaS at all?  It is one of the best tokens out there, paying back a sh!t ton of money to every token holder every 3 months.  The joke is that I hear about the taxi sharing company tokens which shares 10% of it profit with tokenholders, and everyone is like 'WOHA WHAT A GOOD TOKEN, THEY PAY YOU DIVIDENDS!!"

And I'm just sitting here looking around wtf, TaaS does this for more than 6 months with stable payout system.

TaaS needs more marketing?

Marketing? Why? The only thing that marketing would do is drive the price up. TaaS should spend not a single satoshi on marketing. The fund/payouts will not grow bigger because of marketing... Only pump and dump people would mate a nice revenue out of Marketing.

Well, I can predict that based on some TAAS value and previous two results. But I expect people have a brain and can use it to understand that predictions need to be changed as values change constantly and that dividend amount is just an assumption based on last times. It's not difficult stuff.

Ah, reinvesting part of the earnings by TAAS team is major important! What about ten years of that...

At about $0.30 USD per TAAS this coin is great for hodlers. The ICO people receive well over 100% per year on their ICO investment. I saw $0.80 mentioned as ICO price, I thought I had paid $1.00, but fine. I just wish I had deposited a year salary into it then Cheesy
Anyone buying the coin around $4.50 will receive 25% return per year (based on dividend of around $0.30). Try and find that in financial products... If you reinvest all the dividend, and you should since people dump TAAS to current levels again right after dividend payout which is very nice of those people, you can grow your total amount of TAAS by 30% per year.

Must have missed that post also, kivo2004. But that is about it. 6% return every three months if price is around $4.50 and dividends are about the same. TAAS is cheaper right now, so potentially better returns.
Keep your TAAS off the exchanges if you want to receive dividend. It's not paid out to TAAS which is kept there.

And yes, such things are great for risk-averse people. I am too involved with my coins to be trading with them. If price drops, I panic, and if price jumps, I panic Cheesy

The price of the TaaS token is driven by the free market alone and has no direct impact on how the TaaS team manage our funds. Keep in mind a good part of the earnings will be reinvested into the TaaS fund itself. You can't predict a 25% return per year or a 6%  return per quarter.

I wish it would be February soon.  Embarrassed Grin

Let sitting our tokens on any exchange is not a good decision anything bad could happen in term of hacking. If want to get rewarded than must keep them under our control I also think if we have our tokens on exchange little drop or increase can make us panic. TAAS is performing so nice so it will be amazing investment in future.

Thanks! Very helpful stuff. As I said earlier, I'm a bit of a risk-averse investor coming from the traditional side of holding stock dividends. As I learn more about cryptos, I'm learning that this is a quite different animal from an investment perspective. Very fascinating indeed.

You learn every day something new in this space! When I started to get more into cryptos I was fascinated "how much bigger this world is". Keep in mind that - if you buy TaaS - liqui gonna stop sending the Tokens like one week before the payout. At least they did that this quarter. As far as I heard because all people withdraw TaaS their system shut down the transfer of TaaS to prevent a hack.

And it is good that you put time and effort into it - to do your own research is the most important thing in this crypto world.

Cheers!

I was intrigued about TaaS but after researching a little from what I've read here, it appears that you get roughly a 3% return per quarter on the investment. That value is much worse compared to some other coins in the markets that I'm learning about such as Bitcore. Obviously, this is highly speculative but they're offering a guaranteed weekly return of 3% in the form of an airdrop for the month of November while increasing that return by 1% each month going forward. There are certainly downsides to this approach which we'll see as time goes by but from a purely compounding perspective, it seems like a no-brainer to choose another altcoin such as Bitcore over TaaS. Please note that I'm a newbie trying to build a portfolio of dividend coins similar to my stock portfolio and my only intent is to see whether it makes sense for me to consider TaaS as an option. Thanks everyone for their input and best of luck!

You misread some stuff. ICO price was 1 USD = 1 TaaS and the payout of the first quarter was 0.28 USD / TaaS and the second was 0.3358 USD / TaaS. I don't get how you calculate your 3 percent per quarter. If you would grab TaaS at the current rate of $4.19 and the payout in February would be like the last one you would get about 8 percent dividend. If TaaS performance is better it will be more - vise versa - it will be a bit less.

Thanks for that insight. I was skimming through the pages on this forum and must've pulled out the wrong number. With regard to the performance of TaaS, is there any transparency around how well they're performing / how much we should expect to receive in each of the next quarters in advance or is it mostly a black box from our perspective until the dividend gets paid out?

You could read their Medium page first. This gonna give you the knowledge what TaaS invested in and how they performed in the first two quarters.
https://medium.com/@Taas/

Additionally you can check out the cold storage here:
https://ca.taas.fund/wallets/list

I do not reget my investments in TaaS and I gonna hodl for a long time. :-)

I am a little disturbed at the sharp fall in price this quarter. I expected it to perhaps drop by maximum 20% but not by 50% where it is at now. This actually puts me in a loss even with two lots of dividends so am thinking if I SHOULD SELL A FEW OFF AND JUST KEEP SOME Bitcoin as TAAS keeps going down while Bitcoin keep going up so am not making any profit here at all. Only those who bought in the beginning are really still in profit here.

Don't sell, hold on.BTC reaching new ATH every month and all altcoins are going down.We should be seeing a point where it will stabilize after CME listing in December. All Altcoins should be slowly recovering by new year and taas to be one of them.
