Once a man, twice a child!
Getting positive results of how eager they are willing to join and attain knowledge in crypto wasn't that easy because I started with the basics of crypto to lecture them, the forum ranks, merits, how to post and promote bounties, and the rules and regulations and so on. It is intimidating for many.
Sorry, I forgot to address this part when I posted here earlier. For whatever you do, you shouldn't edit or delete the OP. It may come in handy when any of those you've introduced to this place could get their wallet addresses linked and tagged as alts whereas it could be as a result of other engagements. You've to sound that warning enough to your mentees to be careful around such happening.

This forum isn't for earning purposes, here we can learn.
"This forum isn't for earning purposes alone, here we can learn." I didn't want to distort your comment with that which I felt you omitted and that was why I didn't insert it in yours. It's a given that the original plan of this forum may not be to make people earn but learn. However, fortunately the forum is fulfilling both purposes now.

Cryptocurrency is the future, you are doing the right thing by telling the younger generation about it. This forum is not the easiest place to join: there are a lot of articles and topics, and it's easy to get lost here. But the one who is looking for knowledge will definitely find them here
Well, there are many cryptocurrencies, and tbh quite a lot of them are short term and pump and dump coins, and they definitely have no future, Bitcoin is prolly the one cryptocurrency i can categorically state that it has quite a lot to offer globally in the future. Having said that, i don't think the forum is too hard to join, and you can always ask questions whenever you feel lost or don't understand anything, and i'm pretty sure you'd get answered, so newcomers should basically use the search button, as well as create topics to ask questions when they feel the need to, and they'd be just fine here.

That was an excellent job you did by spreading the knowledge of Bitcoin/cryptocurrency in the best way you could, but however, I don't encourage people to come to the forum just to promote bounties, because it's never worth the stress and time, and secondly, I always try to let people know that thou you could earn money from this forum, but it's not the primary reason why it was created, but to help aid Bitcoin discussion.

Yes, definitely it must be intimidating, because if it was easy everybody will be doing it, but because it is hard that's why we have got a few, because even life itself is not easy, but with determination and hard work anybody can do it

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
In 2021 I joined this forum as a graduate, having a small-paying job. This forum has exposed me to the fundamentals of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, and how to enhance economic productivity in my daily life.

This forum is Satoshi Nakamoto’s second great invention: a well-thought idea that was initiated to enhance our crypto knowledge.

We had youth week in our church last week and we were asked to share ideas and knowledge. I tend to use the opportunity to lecture them about crypto, but last week I talked about the Bitcoin Forum, and how it is similar to our church group. There, we created a platform that will foster training in crypto, empowerment, mentorship, growth and networking for young people to collaborate on ideas. Like the forum, this will help get everyone achieve financial independence and the knowledge of crypto within and beyond our immediate environment.

The desire to help these young people navigate through a career path in the crypto sphere through this forum is my vision to accomplish. I want my friends and well-wishers to know about crypto. That's why I came up with the plan to introduce and tell the youths about crypto, the forum and the rules and regulations governing it.

Getting positive results of how eager they are willing to join and attain knowledge in crypto wasn't that easy because I started with the basics of crypto to lecture them, the forum ranks, merits, how to post and promote bounties, and the rules and regulations and so on. It is intimidating for many.

However, I am happy about how far I have gone with them on the platform, and we are very grateful to God that the awareness may turn into a successful mission.

We hope by the end of it, the exposure to crypto and the Bitcoin forum will be magnificent. That many will find a career path in this field, as it presents a rare but available opportunity to advance into financial well-being.

I congratulate you on the good intention that you took the initiative to teach in that area, and it seems that I did not make a mistake when I went to the platform to find out what this bitcoin or cryptocurrency is that has been spreading in different parts of the country for several years and talking about it. And I also often hear and watch it on various of social media platforms.
And I think I will discover a lot here in this forum that will help me to deepen my understanding of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

Good initiative. I don't have this kind of opportunity to lecture about cryptocurrency in my country since it's prohibited to use here. But I had tried to introduce this forum to my nearest persons. But sadly they don't spend time here nor much interest. Everyone just looks for money which is impossible from here for a beginner. This forum isn't for earning purposes, here we can learn.

Anyway good to see you have chances to share about the forum and cryptocurrency publicly. The next generation should know about cryptocurrency very well.
I’d say congratulations in advance OP as your job will be given much appreciation once your students will gain more insights about crypto and the forum itself. The fact that you saw the interest and optimism in their faces, that will give you more courage to continue teaching them until they can start building their own career in crypto which is the bottom line here. Which I think will be very possible if you continue guiding them knowing there are also risks associated in crypto investments.

Hey OP, you have earned yourself one merit as a form of encouragement. I remember doing something similar and I can understand how challenging it is. Youths are the leaders of tomorrow today. While the older generation whose time is passing so fast may try to fight cryptocurrency however, the onus is on the youths to stand firm. I sincerely wish I could send you some resources curated by my bitcointribe book club for teaching young people about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Oh wow, that's really good I think since probably most of us here believe that cryptocurrency and blockchain are the future, therefore to continue our legacy to youth is really important. Young people who learn early about these would have so many advantages, and it's really kind of you to start from the young generation around you. I agree that it's crucial for people to understand the basics or fundamentals before jumping into the crypto world, and bitcointalk is a good bridge or the door for those people. It's not easy, but it's important. Me, I also have a youtube channel to share my knowledge and experience. I also explained about the bitcointalk forum there, especially for the beginners, so at least they have a basic understanding of bitcointalk and could minimize mistakes for newbies.

If you want to help these young people discover or develop their interest in crypto and build a career out of it, perhaps you might want to encourage them to take up computer science or IT courses. Many universities have already incorporated blockchain and crypto in general in their curricula.
And you think everyone could go through all that? Let's be realistic, this topic is about forum awareness, don't let us take it out of that context. The forum has moderate ways of learning Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, anyone might do personal research if so desire to learn further.

You're the one who's being hazy here. You talk of a career path in crypto. Be realistic yourself; there is no career path to be built here. This is a forum for heaven's sake. Do you build a career on a forum like this one?

Of course, you are obviously referring to joining bounties and other opportunities to earn here like joining signature campaigns. I understand that. So set it straight. After all, does this forum provide financial independence? No.

And it's you who are saying that this forum itself provides "moderate ways of learning Bitcoin and cryptocurrency." So we're not really talking of a career in crypto space. We are talking of earning money through this forum.

Good initiative, but I do hope that you focused on what they can learn from bitcointalk and not on the ways to earn from it via bounties and signature campaigns because so many users got stuck in altcoin section doing bounties fro years, without ever realizing that bitcointalk is so much more than a cash cow.
Well in the end it can't be prevented as long as the forum still has a bounty section. I understand that a lot of people here have taken forum as a side job that makes a few bucks to help them make ends meet. I wouldn't blame them for this but when they all end up in the wrong section then in the end they will never get any good knowledge other than just a few bucks off a non-potential altcoin.

We've actually touched on this issue a few times where we sometimes give some advice so that beginners don't fall into the false expectations of many altcoin projects. Some beginners manage to develop their skills even they manage to have their own business by adopting bitcoin, but that's only a small percentage of people.
Bitcoin means profits for most of us so it’s always expected that people mostly come into the forum because of the profits that bitcoin could give. Particularly for newbies, I believe most of them are motivated with money only and they are only after with quick profits they hope to find in bitcoin. However, in reality, bitcoin is not as easy as that. Yes, there are really good profits to find when we talk of bitcoin but you also need to be knowledgeable and skilled  particularly in the bitcointalk forum because if you learned to understand the forum more deeply, the bigger chances that you will also learn to understand how to make easier profits with bitcoin and with the bitcointalk forum itself.

I want my friends and well-wishers to know about crypto.
It is a good thing you have in mind, but I must also remind and advice you to be careful and cautious as you introduce cryptocurrency to your friends. Cautious in the sense that as you talk about crypto and have highlighted its potential to affect ones financial situation positively, many of them may be eager to want to skip to the part where you tell them how exactly to gain and may urge you to give them some financial advice, however tempting, you must avoid that urge to give financial advice to them as you talk about crypto, so tomorrow if it doesn't go their way, they wouldn't have you to blame and your relationship will be save.
It’s good to see that more and more people become more knowledgeable and interested in crypto but I just hope that they are not here believing that bitcoin could be a source for quick profits. Because if that’s the case, instead of earning an income and making decent profits from bitcoin, they will experience losses instead because they keep on rushing to make instant profits, which I think is very impossible for bitcoin to reap instant profits.

those who survive certainly know what to do in this forum and those who quit they either don't find anything they need or can't survive and thrive.
I think  new members who survive in the forums are users who are ready and prepared to learn,  they know what they want from the forum that's why it takes them to sacrifice their precious to read different topics in the forum just to gain knowledge. I think those who quit from the forum they are not ready to learn and seems very difficult for them to spend time to read stuffs in the forum. Genuine members that has the zeal to learn in the forum don't force pressure their selves to be in the forum,  they have true love for reading.

I am having a pet project of my own, I have a course in Nursing science and we would get posted soon to a rural area and I noticed that they have issues with banking in the sense that the state government hasn't really made or created entry route or good motorable route making then cut out and there is no bank in the area. You have to take thirty minutes drive to any bank, but I notice the have good network.
So I am working on enlightening this community on the usage of crypto-currency in their day to day life, how they can buy stuffs, pay fees, send funds to each other, for those into gambling how they can do that online through crypto-currency and in general how Crypto can simplify that already complicated financial lifestyle they are living.

Currently I am in talking stage with the head of the community and when we reach an agreement I would give more details About This plan.

It always interest me to see when people take the knowledge they've got here home , Success without a successor is failure, this is step in the right direction , creating more Bitcoin awenes in your locale will help the water flow down hills.

how to post and promote bounties,

Also let them know that Bitcointalk is not a making money machine, but rather a community to learn things about Bitcoin and related stuffs while on the process people that have the opportunity to join signature campaigns are rewarded with incentive due to their contribution to the community.
I suggest you take them step by step and not how to promote bounties first , this in my humble opinion should become last part of the information you will giving them, Then until when you start seeing the rate at which they've got knowledge about Bitcoin.

This forum is Satoshi Nakamoto’s second great invention: a well-thought idea that was initiated to enhance our crypto knowledge.
You made a good point here, Satoshi has done his part on both Bitcoin and BTT forum, it is now left to us. The unfortunate thing is that the BTT forum is far less popular compared to BTC. Many need this awareness truly, it still pains me that I did not join years back. We can keep making our awareness, and one day we shall get there.

The hard part is taking young people who don't know anything about crypto and then providing understanding until they are interested and join.
Bitcoin is already popular, you need little awareness to convince people to join. You of all people should know that this forum is beneficial in terms of knowledge and other benefits of being a member. A lot of youths are posting in far less beneficial forums, so it will be easy to convert them here.

If you want to help these young people discover or develop their interest in crypto and build a career out of it, perhaps you might want to encourage them to take up computer science or IT courses. Many universities have already incorporated blockchain and crypto in general in their curricula.

Something will convince someone. To some people, the earning aspect, even the bounties, while it might be learning for others. Using both approaches to create awareness is not a bad idea, the choice lies with the person joining the forum.

Telling to the youth about crypto or Bitcointalk .org is very hard for me,  I don't know if on the other place it's easy to catch the attention of the youth about crypto but as I said it's hard in my place teaching about crypto or about this forum because people here in my place didn't know the truth about crypto because all they know is crypto is a scam because a lot of scammers here in my place using sites that contain crypto then scam many people so what is on the mind of many people here is crypto or Bitcoin is a scam.

Since you mentioned youth week, I believe you guys may have exceed 10 in number. At start, I know is going to look bored to some of them, but I urge you to try your best until your aim is archived. You can creat a WhatsApp group and telegram group to enhance the information you will be giving to them. Some may have cultivated in their mind that the lecture you are giving them will make them get rich soon, also try to let them understand that the Bitcoin forum and crypto investment is not a get-rich-quick scheme. So that some don't misinterpret your teachings.

Winding down.
You are doing a great job OP. Even though sharing some knowledge could lead also to rejection and non believers.  I am sharing too on my friends whom dont have knowledge with it and so far only some of them believes me until now.  Well they only get attentive when the hype on axie infinity roam around the globe.  Thats where they saw that cryptocurrency has a nice application to real world.  I am looking forward to blockchain dominance and how it can help us even more than simply a financial alternative without much restriction.
A lot of times where I heard people around me saying that bitcoin won’t last long because it’s a scam, although I always explain to them the facts about bitcoin. But I guess no matter how we tried to teach them,  we don’t have any hold to the people as to what they’ll end up believing, either they stick to their new gained information and become open to bitcoin or would still end up believing the old idea they used to believe. I’m just glad OP that you succeeded in your part and hopefully those young minds will continue to build their own names in bitcoin and become the next legends in the forum in the future.

Many universities have already incorporated blockchain and crypto in general in their curricula. The knowledge that they could get from this forum would somehow prepare them or serve as foundation for their future career paths.

But if what you refer to as "economic productivity" in this forum is by joining "bounties," I'm afraid you're not really helping them build "a career path in the crypto sphere."
We know eventually that bounties would not exist forever as they will also vanish in due time. But for now , they can still be a good source of living since the wage rate is higher compared when you are working in a regular 8 hour day job. However, it’s a good start to see them being aware about crypto this time since the world will definitely move into digital, that is why crypto will eventually become non stop and inevitable. Either these young individuals will take IT as their course in college, or other courses, I guess being aware about crypto is already an edge compared to those people who never have chances to know about bitcoin, maybe because they also chose not to do it.

Well done mate, hopefully your intentions will come to fruition, but it depends a whole lot on those being taught, if they actually have the desire to learn about Bitcoin, Bitcointalk forum and other whatnots, or if they are just seeking a means to an end (quick buck). Choosing a career path isn't quite an overnight thing, it takes quite some time for one to settle into what they like and intend doing for as long as possible, so most of them might not consider this a career path right now, maybe in the long term though, so don't let that bother you at all.

Having said that, overall it is a great initiative you have come up with, and i really do hope you get some interest from a couple of people to serve as an encouragement to do more, even down in the future.
