I would be in for 100 @$5 each.

I don't mind the design Tangem posted but would make a couple of changes. I think the forum blue would be more suitable and the bitcointalk.org should be a little bit higher.

I would love to see what some of the artists here could design, eg. polymerbit, papersafe etc

Agreed, I like the blue which matches the forum blue..but I'd like to see some of the artists round here step in and design something more "fun".  Glad to see this start to materialize.

I quite like the blue scheme to fit with the forum and agree on the text placement movement.

Would be interested in a good amount. Very cool project coming along here.

Although the one further detail...I'd prefer not to have the theymos quote.

Sure, we can change the colors and add\remove the text easily.

We are still looking forward to finding some new ideas for the design.

Just read the thread for the first time.  Throwing my name in the hat as a buyer as well.  Still want to see a coin come together as well.  Possibly same type design could be used for the card and the coin and be sold off as a 2 piece set.
Unfortunately, coin-making is not our business.

We can offer just a 'fake', plastic coin Grin Just received some samples. https://ibb.co/1vcY3KV

@Tangem https://i.ibb.co/fGcvBtz/Tangem-btt.png looks good if not colorful, needs to "pop". Wording should be "Celebrating 10 Years" you left off the "s". If that wizard artwork could fit on the card it should be impressive. However maybe too many colors?
Too many colors for the transparent card. We can do it on white, but we need someone to make a brand new design using the wizard picture.
The style is too different from our standard design to mix them.

Bitcointalk.org unfortunately does not have a distinctive logo just a generic created in SMF. However it might be possible with permission to use the logo of bitcoin.org:

https://bitcoinnewsmagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/logotop.png

I converted the original SVG image to PNG. Perhaps bitcoin in the logo could just be changed to bitcointalk.org. A collaboration between the community here and Tangem would be cool! @13TNLjs3oLfvTNuyb5ZL92DkG if a limited edition card is created, perhaps a run of 1000, can the cards be serialized? I would also suggest that like the trial kit the cards be fully reusable, unlimited times, but with a printed value of 0.01 bitcoin.

The Android app can already be downloaded, and especially if reusable I think these will give Coldkey some stiff competition.
Maybe someone here has ideas for logo of the Bitcointalk?

Sure cards would be fully reusable. Serializing of the cards is an easy task. However, I think that we should not use denomination (printed value) on the cards: the cards would arrive unloaded, perhaps someone would like to load them with a different amount.

Here is an idea from a post in the thread discussing a collectible coin for the anniversary of the forum:

https://bitcoinnewsmagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/cardart.png

Rather than a collectible coin consider 1000 serialized custom reusable Tangem cards instead.

I will try to find the designer, who can extend this into the card design.

As an option, we can make something 'boring' using our design template: https://i.ibb.co/fGcvBtz/Tangem-btt.png

Did you fill an order for 1000 custom cards? If so what design modifications will be implemented on these cards?

Looking forward to owning a few custom ones as I have ordered every item they had for sale thru the years.

I put the forum colors and ask in the form if a design of a logo is possible... but this order it's not anymore relevant since @13TNLjs3oLfvTNuyb5ZL92DkG message Smiley
Looking forward the opening of the pre-sale!

Let's start with the design. Pre-sale will be the next step.

Some basic info:
Tangem card size is 85.6x45 mm. ISO ID-1 (credit card) size 85.6x53.98 mm is possible.
Clear or white plastic. Matt finishing (glossy is possible, but scratches are too visible).
Antenna position and shape cannot be changed. The chip position can be on the right or left side.

We use a solid color (not CMYK, colors from Pantone solid coated library) offset printing, to get maximum artwork quality. That's why we suggest using 3-5 solid colors for each side of the card. Color set for face and back can be different. CMYK offset printing is possible, but the print quality (sharpness) will be no so good.
For some elements of transparent cards, we use silk-screen printing, to increase paint thickness (to make the printed image less transparent). Silk-screen printing can be used with glittering silver or gold paint. We need at least 1 mm tolerance for silk-screen printing.

My suggestion is to collect the artworks from the Community and make a vote to choose the winner.

Can you please post photos of the cards you have mentioned along with the diff varieties in color etc etc etc? Thanks

Hi!

Let me act here on behalf of Tangem for a while. We will add an official account in a few days to interact with the Bitcointalk Community.
We want to help with the limited edition Bitcointalk card. Let's make something cool together.

For us, the most expensive part of small orders cost is the card's artwork. That's why we allow customizing only the logo and colors for the small orders. Our external design studio is cool but too expensive for the 1k order design.
If we find some guys who can handle the design, we can allow more options for customization of the 'limited edition' Bitcointalk cards. I will prepare and share some tech details on the next week.

On our side, we can open pre-sale of the limited edition cards via our website to raise initial funds for the manufacturing.

Great to have you stop in! Some really great ideas going on here all around. I did not expect much out of this post, but I am glad to see it getting so much attention. I think this could certainly be a really cool/fund joint venture between Tangem and bitcointalk! I look forward to hearing other peoples thoughts and maybe seeing this materialize!

Thanks for stopping by Tangem! You have come to the right place where many in here have been ordering directly from your site thru the years....so a custom card will be an exciting addition to anyone's collection!

We have plenty of designers in here too that I am sure can whip up an excellent design!
