This pathetic new generation is totally lunatic. When I was their age, I was doing drugs many times but I could realize that somebody was dying and immediately could help him. Today's teenagers are complete narcissist and they do not care about other people around them . This is insane for sure. They must be treated by a professional.
I honestly don't think it's a generational thing. It's rather human nature, or the nature of the universe in general. Whatever can potentially come into existence, will most likely appear in one form or another. In this case it unfortunately manifested in some shitty fuckheads who would rather watch somebody drown and laugh about it instead of helping them out.
Also, I'm only in my 20s and have taken a good amount of drugs, no issues either and quite successful in all aspects of life. I've come across several much younger people who were quite intriguing as well.
There'll always be asswipes and decent people within any kind of demographic at any given point in time for as long as humans or conscious beings in general exist.
