Im going to start trickling in TEK to ShareXcoin ill be posting them a little cheaper than  cryptsy prices, try to get some volume started

Considering I had to buy my TEK 25% more expensive, I am NOT happy with Cryptsy and try to buy at Sharexcoin first.

No firewall and I've disabled all antivirus.

I am in a pretty obscure location travelling so geographically I can't imagine I'm near many peers.

Added in the old wallet.dat and I can see my coins now but still no syncing (0 connections to network all the time).

I might try connect through a VPN in case there is something weird here with the internet connection blocking it - but I'm not sure if this will solve the problem. I might also try and remove conf file entirely who knows.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions!

Hmm that sounds interesting. I don't even have a tekcoin.conf and it syncs fine, but it might be because I am closer to peers? I am not sure. You don't have a firewall or anything blocking your client from connecting to peers?

I have a couple of backups of the wallet.dat so I'm ok.

The problem is I can't get the windows wallet v1.2 to connect to any nodes and download the blockchain. Even when I add the blockchain files presstab posted on github to the %appdata% folder. My wallet.dat and 10K TEK is safe I just can't get a windows TEK client to work so I can stake them and use them Please let me know if my conf file looks ok and if there is anyway I can try and get the client to connect to nodes and download the blockchain. Thanks!

What I mean to say is that I can't even sync the client with the default wallet.dat (before I paste in my original one).

Sounds like you have a bad wallet.dat. Do you have a backup?

Try backing up your wallet.dat, and start the client with -salvagewallet

Please help me guys I have 10K TEK in a wallet.dat I can't access and stake

My windows wallet had fatal blockchain errors so I downloaded the new presstab version (1.2) with blockchain download.

That had fatal blockchain error so I tried the new blockchain download thundertoe posted.

That caused blockchain error so I tried to d/l the blockchain from scratch with presstab 1.2 for windows.

I've tried the wallet on Windows 8 64 bit and a windows 7 64 bit machine and I can't get it to start downloading the blockchain on either system with the presstab 1.2 windows wallet.

Here is my tekcoin.conf please let me know if I'm missing anything:

I personally think it is best to focus on one exchange at a time.  Once a new exchange gets added, get people trading there and get some volume.  After it gets established maybe then think about another exchange.

 Bittrex will spotlight a coins launch for a fee. I am ready to send the email reply back as free option, unless the community wants to try and bounty up for a spotlight? it would take about 2k TEK being sold into the buys to cover it. (.5btc) ill hold off sending the reply for awhile for some feedback
