Glad you got it working. If anyone else needs help getting their TEK wallets synced and staking, just ask here, or send me a private message—doesn't matter which OS you're on. For any help with the inner workings of the code, I'm sure presstab can help with that, since I'm not a programmer.

I now have TEK working on windows!

For anyone else who may have problems on windows this is what I did:

1.) Downloaded the latest windows qt wallet from github: https://github.com/presstab/TEK/releases

2.) Made a tekcoin.conf file using these nodes:

3.) To make sure that the file was actually a conf file I saved the file as tekcoin.conf, selected "save as all file types" and then I put apostrophies around the title so it was saved as "tekcoin.conf". This saves the conf file as an actual conf file instead of a txt file which was my newbie mistake the whole time  Tongue

Special thanks to MarketNeutral for helping me out with the conf file details. I'll be sending him some TEK when it is fully synced and staking and I would also like to donate some to the TEK dev team once I have my full 40% stake for this month.

Thanks again guys, there is a great community here and I received a lot of messages from people helping.

Go TEK!

If anyone else has problems syncing TEK on windows please PM me and I will help you.

Thanks ThunderToe! I have it now and it looks great!  I am wondering is there any chance of adding another column on the transaction page that shows the age of the coins in days or perhaps shows days until ready to mint status. That would be fun to see.

For now we have the coin control page for that info. We can look at adding more in the future.

Craptsy took wayyyyyyyyy too long to accept my BTC and I missed out on a full 1.44 BTC sell order of TEK at .00041

And then I ran into a bot that made it pretty much impossible to get a buy order filled.

Anyways, I jumped the ship and grabbed 2600 Smiley when my funds did arrive.  Also looking to buy more privately if anyone wants to sell a decent amount.

Glad to be aboard the Tektrain!

TEK deposits not posting on sharexcoin right now. I would hold off until it gets sorted out.

Cheap TEK on sharexcoin, get em while you can  Shocked
Rats. Missed it. All my BTC this week went to bottlecaps.  Cheesy
I'm considering investing on this too, now that Tranz is making it a high-stake coin.
But not before I can generate 3 BTC a month just with TEK Smiley

Anarchy is not chaos.
I am currently "solo" mining at tek.crypto-expert.com. Nice pool, why nobody there?

I'll have a go at it, at least a few USBs worth.

can anyone elaborate on what happens when you run "repairwallet"

i have seen somebody say they where sacred to run it because the might lose the coins they are staking.  as they have a large amount it would be nice comfort for them to have multiple people weigh in before they risk it.

Shouldn't do anything to coin age. Coins are stored on the chain. The wallet simply has the keys to use the coins and also indexes the transactions for that address.  But I would recommend a backup of the .dat first.
