@TryNinja I respect your hard work in creating this bot and the bitcoin testnet faucet site but i find an error in the bot after the current update.
The telegram bot doesn't send notification if open my telegram app on mobile and don't exit it while doing something on my mobile web browser.

I received merits yesterday for the first time since switching to V2. here + here.
Unfortunately there were no notifications for this. But mentions work as usual. Should I set up the offer again or is there another problem? Thank you

I can report the same problem as mole0815 already mentioned. Quote mentions work flawless but some of the received merits were not tracked by the bot.
Let me know if it helps you when I tag the posts where I did not get a notification! I didn't do it because there are 17 individual posts that received merits.

You didn't get a notification for two merits:

When?If it was around the time notblox1 reported the same issue, then it's fixed already. The bot failed to send several merit notifications at that time because of something I forgot to do.

but the count is off by a record of -9 merits!

I just noticed that I received 4 merits from suchmoon for this topic, and received no notification in telegram:

The maintainer of the lib I use to make the questions actually talked about this yesterday: https://github.com/EdJoPaTo/telegraf-stateless-question/issues/4#issuecomment-683235655
I will see what I can do this fix this. It nothing works, I will probably have to change how the bot makes those questions.

When I get notification and I click on it, bot opens bot page with reply for last notification message, same as if I click reply myself.
This was not the case and never happened in previous version.

I need to scrape the merit count the first time before starting to give him a cached value + n. But sometimes the value is outdated, and sometimes it's already updated. Because of that, some people will see the right value (outdated + n = current), while others won't (already updated + n = more than he has). I'm still thinking of a better solution.

Since the data is coming from the forum, I think you cannot do anything about it. For me it’s OK to display even if it's not in line with the actual current merit. I'm still thankful for the bot overall. Do you all prefer the notifications showing only the post title as they are now or how it was before, where it also included the boards?
I didn't even notice the changes until you pointed it out, however, I prefer how it was before. It's more comfortable to remember where it was posted.

I just received a merit and it's the same as DroomieChikito that the one showing at the start of the notification/chat message is what you have before, not the current merit that you have. Maybe just add from what variable the merit is then + n to how many merits that the user receives?
