• I ignored the first couple thousand posts from July 2019, when I used a bit of a messy format.
• The file is still updating. I don't have a database, so getting the data from 2.7 million files takes a while. I've processed less than 2% now, I expect it to take a few hours.

I started to work in a few new features not directly related to the Telegram bot and I will be implementing them in the ninjastic.space website.

The first one is the https://posts.ninjastic.space/addresses page.

I scrapped every ETH address from every post I have saved in the website (~10 months old), and linked them together with the accounts that posted it. This could help people find out connections between accounts when bounty abusers reuse their addresses between different accounts.

You can also add tags to the addresses, which are locally saved in your browser and generate BBCode tables. Example:




Notes:
- Keep in mind that this contains every single post (~10 months old until now), regardless of its content. So you should see trusted users being linked with abusers because they just posted their addresses (e.g to expose them). You should check the data yourself and edit the table to make it correct.

- When you generate a table, some users do not have a link to their profile embedded to it. That's because, initially, I wasn't saving the user's UID along with the post when scrapping them. I plan to update all old posts with the author's UID in the future.

- Only Ethereum addresses (and thus, also ERC-20 tokens) are being scrapped (for now).

This is possible, but it's kinda annoying to bot subscribers if they will notify for every birthday of other users.
Maybe this can be done only for those subscribers of the Bot, much less annoying.
Although, this is a good idea. I will look forward to this kind of extra feature of a bot.

No it wasnt a bug. You have been mentioned on my OP, but a while a go, I was editing my OP but I didnt noticed that the one clicked is quote instead of edit. So I deleted it cause it was a mistake.

If you are on part of a certain topic post, then its been quoted as reply. Bot is set up to notified you since the bot work even without @ as long as your name was mentioned.

That's right. I deleted it cause it wasnt supposedly a response but an edited OP. It seems the archive site of you really works on solving problem here as it identify the error.

I think the bot was triggered by cryptoaddictchie's post (now deleted), in which he quoted the OP (but didn't type anything else).

I think the bots have a bug, this is the case,
I was mentioned in the opening post in this thread, when someone made a reply, even though the reply post didn't mention me, I still received a notification from the bot. I have also checked whether the thread is in my subscription or not, the result is the thread is not on the list.



Is this problem can be fixed? Or when we mentioned on the OP, we really have to receive notifications?

Just a suggestion for additional notifier. Can the super bot implement notification on birthdays of users? Since there is an option to add birthday details on profile section.

But of course some would probably play this out putting random date just to see the notification, so I think they should ask permission only to the bot creator for approval. With the exemption of course of those reputable members like theymos since he put his birth date. Just an idea ( ignore if not worth a shot no hard feelings) what you guys think?</sub>

Good question. I didn't think about this. Right now, you would get a notification for every post you made in the thread. I can see this being an potential issue if you made tens of posts in the thread, so I will think of a better solution.

Also worth mentioning: it only works for posts made in the last ~10 months (for now).

Question: what happens if the user had more than one post in the topic?

Update: Deleted posts notification! Suggested by @LoyceV here.

You can now choose to get a notification when a post you made vanishes because its parent thread got deleted. The notification will also have a link to a copy/archive of your original post (only the unedited original version, since I can't re-scrape posts to keep them updated).

- You will get a notification if you post in the thread X and the same thread gets deleted by a mod later.
- You will NOT get a notification if your post was manually deleted by a mod. The forum already PM's you about this.

Everybody has this option disabled by default. To enable it, just go to "Notifications" in the menu, and click "Enable Deleted Posts". If you can't see this option, run /menu and check again.

As explained by Loyce in his suggestion post, you will not get a notification if the author of the thread gets nuked OR if your post gets deleted by an user in his self-moderated thread. This is ONLY for when a mod manually deletes the whole thread and your post gets deleted in the process, which isn't notified by the forum.

I can say this will be useful though. Since it can be implemented right away, I found it useful to some who people who loves to collate information or used the profile for some important matter.

For example some signature campaign notifying the acceptance of the participants by mentioning their profile instead of quoting their post or informing their username via thread like this.


Unless they check the thread first they will know they got accepted. (Not all are doing this just in case in the future some were gonna do this again)

Also it might be useful to some who are doing reporting on spam buster, that dont frequently used code for doing shortcut on profile username like this one.

Thanks for develop this superb bot. I’ve been having a problem tracking notifications from BTT. Well, with this - I know I’d have lesser worries. Most importantly I set up a notification for new merits. No better news.

This probably happened because the database lagged and the bot didn't succeed on marking the merit as "notified" before the next "merit check" 5 seconds later. That should be fixed now. Thanks!

You only get notified if your username or alternative username is found in the post (with or without @, comma, period, ellipsis, question mark, etc...). But this is an interesting idea. I already ask for the user's UID, so that should be easy to implement. Would anyone want this?

My @username is mentioned in this post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.54581444 , but no notification was sent to the bot. What could be the problem?

Has anyone experience some glitches like this too? I think it happened twice on me already that the notification got doubled for merit received. I know sometime that users were got error due to connection and accidentally double send their smerits but I think is one is on bot this time.
