Using huge amounts to stake may not be the problem, it may be that its just the personal emotional constrain of the individual as some other persons may use same huge amount and still maintain the same composure but some will stake small amount and still be very anxious on what the outcome may be by the end of the day. some times it may depend if the amount is one that you can easily let go or you can be able to afford to loose.

In my experience, there have been times when i will just stake a little amount i will be able to afford to loose and there are times i will want to just risk a few  amount and just have fun maybe, then i won't really bother so with me, it depends on that which i intend to achieve at every point in time.

The anxiousness that erupts from gambler's mind has nothing with the amount of money wagered, it seems to be natural. Experts only prefer to warn against wagering high amounts, because it's painful to lose. Gambling was never designed to facilitate anger in a player's life, instead it was made to help handle boredom and improve happiness. Players involuntarily chose to turn gaming around, in hopes for big wins, they spend more money which then lands most people to an sad mood.

At first sight it would look like they are skipping one of the main rules of good gambling: betting with money you don't need, and that you can afford to lose. What happens is that you may have made a combination with a moderate amount of money, and if you see that the final results are approaching and you have a good chance of winning it, excitement is normal as ralle14 says.

Despite the fact that we have the first golden rule which is gambling with the money you can afford to lose, the bigger question is, is there any money we can actually afford to lose?
The unavailability of accurate answer to this is what have kept us in all this discussion, because it is in the doing that matters and not just to make such a statement.

Gambling is a game of chance and for that, anytime we set out to gamble we should be ready to lose one thing and gain double, this is because when you lose, you lose only money, but the gain that comes with gambling is both with winning and lessons which build our skills.

If a d when I make a game combination, what is do most is that if it only one game remaining and I am already winning what I do most time is to use the cash out feature to get out the market with my already winning.
I believe this moves as a strategy thing. Knowing that you can go or not with the bet is part of it. Does anyone have their own strategy for gambling? It's more likely to be a better experience if you have it. I guess that's just always the case. I guess it comes to the appeal on the strategy that someone has and the approach they have on gambling.

Gambling is exciting and make us forget with everything and spend more money that we have. That is why we must have good control to avoids playing gambling longer than usual.
We don't have to continue gambling if we already wins and remember to cash out the wins money before our minds changes. We can enjoy the win money when we can withdraw and forgets to playing gambling for a while.
We can come back to casino anytime we want so there is no rush to come back to the casino. But yes, if we place a bet for the last game, that will give us more tension because we hope that the last bet will give the win.

Exactly, better to cashout once you win because if one tend to make more or win more with that same money he or she may lose it , because have seen a scenario whereby one will be like , will endup with a nice a win but at the end they will endup losing it all , the best thing to do once you win due to luck being on your side , is advisable to withdraw it quick before one will start having the mindset of gambling with it , and most time last bet before the end of one gambling section don't usually ends well .

I do not like cash out. I do not check bet slip until the matches are over. I prefer to wait until the last match has been played before checking to slip.

Wow...it is a big amount of money in my country. You won $83 approximately because you stickied to your instinct of not cashing out $18 approximately which shows that you took the risk of being patient with your luck to play out in full. I like your courage because assuming that last game cut your slip, it would have been the opposite.
If a good P2P exchange rate is used which is around $1597 right now, that would be about $65.42 naira. He used 12000 naira to stake the bet. If you deduct that from the amount won, only $57.91 will remain. In my country which the OP comes from, we can say it is a big amount of money, but not that too big in a way we can call it big.
The amount in win is small although compared to the risk amount, because the bet was staked with 12000 which is somewhat an amount that one randomly gamble with on a normal day, but then for the ops this must be an exciting experience the joy that Comes with winning your bet is some how more than the money itself, but I also take note to act according to the level of risk available when dealing with cash out and frequency of games followup because your bet can go wrong even the last minute into the games.

Ops was extremely lucky to have won this bet considering the number of match accumulation in this bet, it risk equivalent, truly sometimes patience is a great virtual for success just like in this case.
Patience is a must when it comes to waiting for the result of a bet we staked on.
Am sure when one can tell the difference between casino games and sports betting, they have won already before even dreaming to place a bet on their favorite option.

This win and the feeling that comes with winning a sports betting prediction, isn't any different from how the feeling of winning in slots or poker is, but the waiting is different and the way out for sports betting, depending on the site, is to cash out early, unless one intends to wait to see the results.

Congratulations OP!

Cashouts are very important, the option is there for a reason. But honestly, I admire those who have the courage to finish the whole parlay because I cannot do it because of the tension, just like what OP said.
It's difficult being in that situation where you will either regret that you didn't cash out or you will celebrate with a lot of money in your wallet. For those brave enough to continue, keep it up. But for those who badly need the money, cash it out as fast as possible and just live with the last results. There's actually a way to avoid regret. Don't look at your parlay slip for maybe 2 days or a week, and then just check it after you have enjoyed the money that came from cashing out early.  Cheesy
I'm very rarely cashout of my parlay bets because I don't want to get more stress and it help me to be confident with my picks, regardless the outcome is, but it make me able to take the results from the decision I made in the beginning.

I think it's wrong for the gamblers can badly need the money, the money managements are in questioned since we should gamble what we can afford to lose.

Yes, gambling is indeed very likely to make a gambler fall and get carried away further in an impulsive approach which is the reason why control is a mandatory ability for a gambler as you have said, my friend, and another thing I will also say that this is the reason why awareness must always be maintained by a gambler so that they are able to identify various indications that can lead them to a greater disaster.

Basically I will say that the real victory in gambling is when you are able to cash out the amount of winnings into physical money and enjoy it, meaning if the amount of winnings is still in the form of a balance in the account then I cannot say that it is a real victory, because often there are cases where most gamblers lose all the winnings because they are unable to resist the temptation of greed in themselves, so don't be happy first if you win unless you have managed to pass the temptation phase of greed.

Maintaining awareness and having good and firm self-control is one of the keys to being able to enjoy the amount of victory, and for the last bet problem, of course it will be much more tense, and I think for that problem it depends on the decision of a gambler, if you are not ready to accept all the unwanted possibilities at the end of the session then it is better to cash everything from the start.

There is no doubt that gambling is fun when you win even if you are gambling only for fun and not for money, but those who gamble for fun would barely take very big risks with their money because they don't want any stress but they just want to enjoy their time by spending a limited amount of money.

So, when a gambler plays a parlay, selecting difficult odds and putting in a good some with the hope of getting a large win, that is not a gambler playing for fun but it's a gambler trying to earn money from sports betting and to be honest, most people are in that boat, so it's not something unusual.

Someone who wants to gamble for fun might place a bet or two randomly sometimes on matches that they want to watch because it makes it more fun when you watch the game while also having a bet on it, it makes it thrilling and you enjoy every moment of the game.
One of the most hardest decision to be made is on the time that you are doing parlay and you are already midway on which there's already that early cash out then you would really be that having that in torn whether you should cash out early or not. How much more into the moment that you are already on last game? Would you push it until the end or you would really be cashing it out and dont mind about on the potential big win? It would really be just that depending on you and there are really indeed those times or moments that you will really be on a tough situation because you've been
trying out to go all in and make it finish but at the same time you will be having that kind of doubts because it is really just that  a waste if you do lost it all on which it could really result to regret.

Personally, if I have a lot of bet selections combined, I don't bother watching them because I know the feeling and might not handle it well. I just check my bets after all the games have concluded to see if I've won.
It's the same for me, I mostly don't watch them because several legs start at the same time and it's too much if I watch every single stream.
This is because you are using high amounts of money to bet. If you are using just little amount of money for the betting, you will realize that you can watch the matches and enjoy it. But you can not watch all. If you select many matches, there is even probability that some matches may begin at the same time especially if you selected it from the same league. I can remember when I was betting with high amounts of money, I also do not like to watch the matches because my heart rate do increase while watching any of the matches.

You won the bet and if I'm right, the last game won convincingly and that made me a little confused regarding the caption. Personally, last games have always been my nightmare; I have had my bets spoilt by the last game more than anything else and I wonder if there is any gambler that have not had their fair share of this issue of last game. It usually comes with high tension which is worst if you are watching the match or streaming it live.

If I win this your amount now, this weekend is gamed. Well congratulations on winning 8+ odds.

Most times the end part of the game usually is challenging but profitable,I once had such win some months back watching my games clicked as predicted gives me joy but coming to the end of it got me panicking and in full tension cause I know the end will justify the means.i was just reacting to every little thing that got me pissed off.

But it was a jackpots after all and I was so amazed, one thing I noticed is that at that moment the positive thoughts you pressure on it will make it gamed and this is truly the main fun of gambling but some gamblers probably after loosing they would get mad at themselves and everyone around them transferring the aggression on them which is not right..

Always stay relaxed when gambling so you don't feel stressed. The cash-out option can be particularly stressful, as you may end up regretting either not cashing out or cashing out when you could have won your bet, especially with parlay bets, where the goal is to hit the jackpot. Personally, if I have a lot of bet selections combined, I don't bother watching them because I know the feeling and might not handle it well. I just check my bets after all the games have concluded to see if I've won.
Lol, you can't stay relaxed when you have a multi leg bet with a huge odd and then you are watching that game. It's not that you are going to be stress for the rest of your life. Just probably the bet that you have and the chances of you winning specially if it is the last leg of your bet. So I guess it's just part of being a gambler, that sometimes you get excited and I think this is what we wanted to get in the first place. That adrenaline rush on seeing the teams and then we have a bet on them.

I manage single bets differently, as I watch them closely since I risk a larger amount compared to parlay bets, so I don't feel the pressure as much. Sometimes, we blame ourselves, which is not good because, after all, this is just gambling. It's a game of strategy, not emotion, so we need to use a fixed strategy and implement it consistently in all our bets.
I disagree as well, as gamblers, I haven't seen them blaming themselves, it's the unknown that we are predicting here and so we have to think what we should bet and sometimes we get lucky and win, but we should also accept everything in defeat, just saying.

Same. Even when I make big multi-bets (meaning from many events) I try to make them within one round, and even better one game day. That way all I have left to do is find out all the results in the morning (or late at night) and prepare the next multi-bet. I also don't like unnecessary excitement, so I don't follow how things are going online (if I'm not watching the game) but prefer to find out the result right away.

It's always the last few legs from the parlay that cause the situation to be tense since the payout adds up when most of the legs are already marked as wins. It reminds me of the parlay ticket that I placed back then, and I used a free bet on it which meant I had nothing to lose, but still, the emotions got intense when it came down to the final leg.

Congrats on riding your parlay until the end, and you've made the right choice as it's not worth taking the juice from the cashout.
